Was kinda disappointed in the other barbers there were two and they both had clients. A third guy came in with a client. When Carlos came in they said he can cut my hair. As I sat down the one barber that had a client close to the entrance got into the chair next to me and started getting his haircut from the guy who was in the chair getting his hair cut. Wow. It was disappointing. That they made me wait when either one of them could have done my hair instead of making me wait 30 mins. That being said. Carlos did my hair and I love it. The workers at Herold's Pharmacy actually care about their customers and it shows. Mary is the main pharmacist here. She's really sweet. Her and her husband own Herold's Pharmacy, this one in west ashley and the one in North Charleston. Robby is another pharmacist here. He's also nice. All the workers here are really nice. Just the fact that I know their names shows you how much more personal this pharmacy is with their customers. I come in about twice a month to get my prescriptions. Once a month, I get a shot administered here. It's nice that I get to come to a local pharmacy for this shot because they can usually take me right away. I just call ahead and tell them I'm coming. Other big name pharmacies won't even administer my shot. I'm so lucky to have a place like Herold's to go and get my shot administered with no extra fee. They have all the basics that you might want to buy at a pharmacy. They a can fill just about any prescription for you. There are nice people working there. It's a cute local pharmacy. Try them out. I know you won't be disappointed.

They say that the cash register turns off at 5:00 PM at this CVS at target. I've been with the CVS for many many years however I will be switching because I do not think the customer service is what it used to be. Back when Tom was the pharmacist, he truly cared about people. He also didn't yell your private information from where the pharmacist is standing in the back, looking at medication's, including your name, date of birth and your medication. I am in the healthcare in the stream of myself, and I do not believe that this adheres to HIPAA practices.

A huge sprawling parking lot with enough space under one roof to get in a mile of walking, if one were so compelled. The Walmart in North Charleston doesn't seem to interested in great customer service as the personal are sparse; both walking around and at the registers (they're slowing closing down self-checkout). As for the food, it has what one has come to expect from Walmart, average products at a low cost however when it comes to fruit and veggies, the supply is somewhat limited and the fruit needs a lot of washing. In fact, I've stopped buying fruit b/c of all the flies that come home with it. Even washing it when I get home doesn't mean the flies are gone as they migrate before I can deal with them. The baked goods are average however please note if you buy the discounted perishable items, they go bad QUICK. I've also found they're limited in toys as I tried to purchase some items for my kids but they only have the absolute most popular items. So, if you want that GI Joe action figure, you won't find it here, or at least anything new. As for electronics, they have most of the newest gaming consoles, games and controllers however 4k media is limited, but that's a standard among all stores now as physical media continues to be replaced by inferior forms of content like streaming. Most items like pet food and accessories are in abundance, hardware and housing goods have most of what someone needs and the kitchen section has a lot of average equipment to great stuff depending on what you need. For example, the knife selection is horrible but mixers are just as good as anywhere else. I do all of my vitamin and specialty medicine (not prescription) from Walmart as it's the cheapest. Overall, Walmart is exactly what you expect anywhere and that's by design. The only real differences are subtle things that regionally might sell better at one place then another state won't offer a product as it won't make sense. Think of a heavy winter coat for sale in Texas - it isn't needed. Finally, Walmart is bringing back the cashier so the wait times may vary. Other than those items, it's Walmart you know what you want.

We were able to grab the essentials. The layout was a bit dodgy with where to locate certain items. But the space is quite spacious so you don't feel people are on top of you. There seemed to be technical difficulties at the self checkout based on some of the other customers who will either trying to scan items and/or pay. Not sure if it was just human error or a glitch but we waited a few minutes at the front of the queue for people to figure their stuff out. Still, we bought what we needed and this CVS was the only one that was close enough from the hotel we stayed and where we were going.

A special thank you to the pharmacy manager, Jasper Wolfe, who truly goes above and beyond in managing my Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, Arthritis, and high cholesterol medications. He takes the time to carefully review my prescriptions, check for potential drug interactions, and provide thoughtful guidance on over-the-counter products. Jasper is always helpful, informative, caring, and compassionate. What stands out even more is how proactive he is in helping me save money. He searches for manufacturer's coupons and adds them directly to my profile so I can benefit from the savings. He helped me get the Veoyah card for my hot flashes. The prescription is $700 per month but with insurance, my monthly co pay is $75 per month. With Jasper's help my Veozah prescription costs me only $30per month. Today, Jasper helped me to save $25 on my Ozempic monthly prescription. In today's economy, that level of attention and care is deeply appreciated. The front store team is equally impressive.
