Running all around town for some ingredients, Finally found them here. We should have come here first, always looks clean and well stocked Like all other HT this place has everything and don't mind to drive all the way there since the new store in Nexton won't come till 2024 Parking lot is limited because they have to share with a lot of other small businesses. Parking can be a hit and miss but nothing is perfect in this world anymore. Will keep coming back even of it is a 20 minute drive

Great shop this evening at this Teeter, which is definitely open 24 hours. It was almost like we were the only ones in here at 11pm. We also made the important decision of having a full meal before doing our shop and that really helped us make better choices. The store is bright, clean and very well stocked. Everything from dairy to wine/beer to cheese was tidy and nicely leveled. Prices are clearly displayed and while they're higher than average, Teeter is solid for quality and a positive shopping experience. We have Harris Teeter up where I live in Charlotte and it's a regular stop for me. This one is just as good as ours. [Review 10528 overall, 295 of 2019.]

It's $5 Friday at Harris Tetter!

Summerville's Harris Teeter is like most of their stores ...neat, well stocked and friendly staff! We saw on social media that $5 Sushi on Friday's was the thing to do today...the sushi was really goodso we are adding this to our 'things to do' on Friday's!

Nice cakes and cookies! Pricey today but they are often on sale.

This Harris Teeter location is one of the newer ones in the Charleston area, and Summerville is grateful for it. I've been a Harris Teeter shopper for a long time and frequent other stores in the area due to location, but I love shopping at this store because I always have a top-notch experience. The aisles are clean and large, the store is brightly lit and laid out nicely. There's a Starbucks as well as many self checkout lanes. Unlike some of the other Harris Teeter stores, this store offers a hot bar and a trail mix bar. The salad bar and hot bar are usually well stocked, clean, and the food looks delicious. There's a pizza station as well as the usual deli, bakery, etc. Like all Harris Teeter stores, the customer service is great and they happily accept (and double) coupons. The store has plenty of parking and is convenient to Bacon's Bridge Rd. and Old Trolley, and not far from Downtown Summerville. It's by far my favorite place to shop for groceries in Summerville!

Harris Teeter is a nice grocery store. I pop in on occasion--I don't get my groceries here. It's always clean and organized. I do think the prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area. The produce department is large! They even have a good amount of organic items. The meat/seafood selection is good. It always looks extra fresh. I love their floral department. The flowers always look so bright and vibrant. I love their donuts from Saffron Cafe and Bakery, which is downtown and they are only $1. They offer a great variety of wine and beer. They have a good variety of on-the-go items...fresh sushi, pizza, subs, chicken. I like the salad bar--there's a variety of items and it's always clean. They even have a trail mix station! The Starbucks is a plus. Sometimes there can be a lack of registers open.

The manager, Jamie, went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had at self check out. He made things right without hesitation and was super helpful! I had a cookie cake and cupcakes made for my son's birthday and we wanted a Summerville High School Greenwave football theme and they nailed it. The cookie and cupcakes were amazing! I've been a loyal customer since they opened and I will always be one!

Harris Teeter is now refreezing the seafood and when you buy it (You must cook it or throw it away the next day)! I got some shrimp and I just want to say that you must clean this shrimp (Do Not) just boil it! Especially the pink Argentina shrimp. Oh, I did contact them a week ago concerning the dung ness crab and 12 Argentina shrimps I got! It doesn't smell but once you eat it, you can taste it and it's soft! The manage suggested me to bring it back in to the store! Yes, but I thought stores wasn't taking food back, I guess it's why you get what you pay for!

Disgusted expired mayo in Harris-Teeter on Bacon's Bridge Road in Summerville. Expired 9/3/22, I found it on 3/4/23.

Guerin's Pharmacy is a historic pharmacy that opened in Summerville, South Carolina in 1871. It is…read morethe oldest pharmacy in South Carolina as well as the oldest continuously-operating business in Summerville. It was founded by Dr. Henry Charles Guerin. The roots of the pharmacy go back decades earlier. Dr. C.F. Schwettmann owned a drugstore in Charleston, but it was damaged by cannon fire during the Civil War. He set up a new drugstore in Summerville in 1864. In 1871, Guerin (a former Confederate soldier and graduate of the Medical College of South Carolina) purchased the pharmacy and Schwettmann returned to Charleston. After Guerin passed away, the pharmacy was taken over by his son Dr. Joseph C. Guerin. The younger Guerin's colleague Dr. Herbert F. Dunning later purchased the pharmacy. Since 2014, the owner of Guerin's Pharmacy has been Dunning's grand niece Barbara A. Dunning, RPh. My family and I visited Guerin's Pharmacy this past summer while we were visiting family in town. Our cousins told us to check out a really cool old pharmacy in Hutchinson Square. We had no idea that pharmacies like this still existed; we had only seen ones like this in the movies. In addition to a pharmacy, Guerin's also essentially doubles as a general store where customers can purchase souvenirs, postcards, books, t-shirts, etc. Guerin's is also home to a soda fountain, which were popular in drugstores during the first half of the 20th century but rarely seen today. Customers can get Blue Bell brand ice cream, milkshakes, malts, floats, fountain sodas, hotdogs (with or without chili), pickles, or a number of different treats from the candy counter. My wife and I shared a cup of "Mint Chocolate Chip" ice cream while our sons shared a cup of "Cookies 'n Cream". My wife also enjoyed a strawberry milkshake while I had a bottle of Cheerwine. It was so cool to step back in time at Guerin's Pharmacy! We'll definitely visit again on a future trip to Summerville.

Nothing! Long story short a second employee comes and doublecheck the box and all the surrounding boxes, still nothing and this time they both go to the back. One guy waiting behind me and about 12 or 13 minutes later one comes back and looks again in the circled area with a little more systematically and orderly approach, Nothing! That said I'm not sure how many people actually shop at CVS. Because what I've noticed is CVS nationwide have on average a 8% increase in pricing over everywhere else. I believe the reason is because of not buying in bulk. I don't think I'm leaking any secrets here as that's just what I've observed. As for this facility it really does need some TCL as the last time I went there at around 2pm the carpets had trash all over the place. Most of the shelves were stocked but the products in the fridge and freezer where sparse as if no one restocked them in ages. One thing I have noticed is CVS gets in interesting holiday supplies like Danish cookies for Xmas. I never seen these cookies anywhere else so that is worth remembering. As for the pharmacy they're an enigma. I've pulled up in the drive through at 9am when the open yet they didn't open the big metal divider inside until 9:15. Also the orders are slower being filled than I've experienced in other states. Generally, if I call an order can be filled within 2-3 hours however this facility it's more along the lines of 5-6. That said, the staff are nice and willing to help out where they can. CVS is a place where many of us get our medications filled and as far as that aspect, they're about average speed, maybe a smidge under but with a nice staff. Inside the store portion of the freestanding unit, prices aren't competitive and I would pass on anything that needs refrigeration. They need a good and consistent cleaning as it's a bit dirty. As for me since the pharmacy is right around the corner, I find them capable of fulfilling my order so I'll be back.
