CVS Oakridge pharmacy on Berkshire Valley road has the worst pharmacy people running it. Very rude,short, cut customers off when talking on the phone or in person. It use to be a great pharmacy several years ago but the people they hire & keep should not be in customer service positions let alone pharmacy. Today I called left voicemail now that CVS no longer picks up the phone & makes you wait for call backs. I mentioned on voicemail I received my refills plus a new prescription my doctor never mentioned to me. I don't know why, what it is or what it's for or if I'm allergic to it as there was no prescription slip with it telling me any information. I get a call back I answer the phone bad connection as no one answered after I said hello 5 times so I hung up. They called again same thing no voice on the other end. They never left a voicemail or text. Instead they marked it as they talked to me & handled my concerns when they never once spoke to me. I had to waste time again getting thru there stupid automated to leave another call back. She answered first thing was I could tell she never once listened to the whole voice message as she was combative & kept it up about the label had to be there & someone in my house must of lost it when it's only myself & my husband. She not once brought up my main concern why I was calling to find out what this medicine is what it does or if I might be allergic. Instead after she was being combative she tried ending our call. I told her are you going to let me talk & tell you why I was calling & finishing asking my questions since you never listened to my full voicemail. This is how the pharmacists are at this location. Just like in Spring of this year I was seriously sick for 3 months straight. Another doctor prescribed a cough medicine. I went to CVS asked them if it was a certain color a yellow green as there is a certain one I can't take. I can only do the red or purple one as they are all generic brands. They told me they can't see the color yet they took the main bottle poured into the other so there is no reason with your own two eyes you can't see the color. Then they tell me it's not that color & it will be ok for me so they ran it thru my insurance. I get home to find out it's the one I specifically can't take. I called them immediately they tried rudely denying I asked them that as I was just there. They couldn't take it back they told me as they tagged my insurance & couldn't give me something else as my insurance wouldn't put through another. I called their main office & put a huge complaint in. They said that should have never happened & I shouldn't have had that tagged to my insurance & I shouldn't have been charged for it. They offered me a credit for the meds plus an extra $30 for my inconvenience. They told me I would receive within a few hours never did. I was literally on the phone for over 2 weeks trying to get my credit because Everytime I even talked to someone in their main headquarters they were just as bad as this pharmacy. No one knew their job or knew what the heck they were doing or their policies or how things worked. The sad thing is all the better pharmacies are closing or being bought out by CVS. So this is what we will all someday be stuck with. read more

For the covid test site & minute clinic they get 5 stars. Excellent efficient rapid testing and I had results in 15 minutes. Friendly staff and would recommend anyone looking for a covid test to go to this location. read more

Do yourself a favor and believe the reviews. The pharmacy at this store is the absolute worst. The female pharmacist, ( I don't know her name but I wish I did to call her out by name here ), Is possibly the most uncaring pharmacist I've ever dealt with ( I'm 56 with medical issues so I've dealt with many ). I could go on with examples but I really don't want to sit hear and type for an hour. The main thing about this pharmacy , this female pharmacist in particular is , she lies to your face and when you call her on it she lies again and says she never said it. She just lied to me about one of my meds and it really screwed me over !!!! I mean like , it can be dangerous for me. DO NOT BELIEVE HER !!!! Seriously folks. If it's important too you make sure you check , check and check again. My issue was about my medication not being in stock and she told me it was for 2 days and then started telling me it was coming in today then tomorrow blah blah blah. She knew from the first day that it wasn't in stock and that I didn't have enough to last more than 3 more days but she couldn't care less. She knew the drug wasn't there but chose to lie to me time and time again. Now I have one pill left and I have to bust my ass to find it somewhere else and then have my doctor send in a prescription to that place. It's a med that isn't always easy to find. And to top it all off , she acts like I'm an ass for being upset about it. Find yourself a nice small mom and pop pharmacy and save yourself some aggravation. read more

Where do I start. The pharmacy makes a lot of mistakes. Don't bother telling them that you don't want childproof caps, because they will keep giving them to you. They also tell you that prescriptions are ready when they are not, causing you to make a second trip there. They also never tell you that they are going to give you a three-month supply until you are ready to pay for your prescription, and by then it's too late, because there are ten people on the line behind you. Prices of non-prescription items are so expensive, even with coupons. The greed of the corporation makes me sick - they got rid of some of the cash registers and put in self-service check-out, which I REFUSE to use, because it takes away peoples' jobs. However, then you have to ring the bell and stand around waiting for someone to show up to ring you up. And the workers are clearly unhappy, as it shows in their demeanor. After you buy something, they hound you with email requests to fill out a survey. I made the mistake of doing that, and I mentioned that I hate the self-checkout, and that the pharmacy makes a lot of errors. I then received a nasty email from the Oak Ridge store manager who told me that I should not write negative reviews, as it causes the CVS corporation to give them a bad score. She admonished me for my review and told me I should have mentioned what the store does RIGHT, instead of what they do wrong. Also, I found out that CVS corporate donates a lot of money to political bills that harm women, so I am even less happy with them now. I'm thinking of switching to the Acme pharmacy. Maybe they are a little more competent and less rude. read more

Changed pharmacies after yesterday. First, they changed the hours but forgot to post the new hours, so I showed up an hour late and they were closed. I talked to the front store manager who just shrugged her shoulders and told me to come back the following day ( this was in January). Now yesterday, I have auto refill on my medication. I get the alert and go to pick it up. I was told they forgot to order in the med, and would need to wait until Tuesday. When I said I would be completely out by today ( Sunday), the pharmacist shrugged his shoulders and just said " Yeah, sorry.". I'm calling corporate tomorrow to log a formal complaint. read more

There is real lack of customer service here.The pharmacy is friendly and helpful enough.If you need help finding something you really have to scout around for sales people because there are none at the cash register.You sometimes are made to feel like you are an inconvenience here. Find the price of scripts consistently much higher here.. Sorry but I would take the hometown pharmacy or a Walgreens if available at least they smile and say how are you today.Is there anything I can help you with.?The only reason they got 2 stars is because they are local. read more

Seniors beware, they charged me more than $150 more than they should after we discussed my new standing in Medicare Part D. Carefully review the prices you are charged. Engage Larry with complaints and avoid others, they are all uncaring or unknowing. Serious anti senior bias here. They all seem way to busy and important for seniors! read more

Let's start with customer service. There is none. They treat you as if you are bothering them when you try and pick up a prescription. You have to check to make sure you get what tour doctor ordered. No matter how many times I go there something is always an issue. Then they get pissed off and they are then ones that make the mistakes This place is the worst. I've never had any problems at this CVS, at their pharmacy, or at their CVS Minute Clinic. Everyone has always been nice, courteous, helpful and I have never had any issues with prescription pick-up. Specifically more than once the cashier, Nicholas, at the front counter has been very helpful and good with customer service. I think that too many people post negative reviews when they get upset-- this pharmacy is generally very good. read more
