There were about 10 people in front of me and despite about 6-7 people working there, the wait was rather lengthy. It was about 25 mins from when I strolled in to when I received my order. Good news commuters! There is a parking lot as part of this mini mall with ample spaces available. There were about 20 different bagels available to choose from - including some of the more popular - salt, sesame, onion, garlic, plain, everything and a few of the more unusual - french toast and cheddar jalapeño. As I waited I saw the owner engaging in banter with a few of the more familiar customers. I could tell that this is an establishment that is a well respected part of the community. Unfortunately, Goldberg's has one of my pet peeves that is a growing part of the restaurant experience. And I get it. They add a certain percentage for credit card transactions, BUT I wouldn't know exactly what that was because it wasn't posted anywhere inside or outside the restaurant. When I pointed it out to the owner, he was extremely respectful, admited his wrongdoing and told me he would put something on the front door and by the cash register. I wasn't about to hang out to verify. The place does have a dining area with one of the more unusual set ups. There were several bikes (motorcycle, bicycle, etc.) around the perimeter. It seemed to take away from the seating area but it added a little character to the place. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with turkey bacon, egg whites, and Swiss cheese. The bagel was slightly above average. It was fluffy and had a sufficient number of raisins. The taste wasn't anything special. The bagel did have plenty of egg whites and turkey bacon and the order was accurate! I also went with a medium coffee. The coffee was average. What I truly liked about this place, was the fixins are where the customer can add as much whole milk or or oat milk or creamer as they would like. Overall, pros, the bagel sandwich was good and the staff was friendly. I love that you can add as much milk or sugar as you'd like on your own. The cons include no posted signs about a surcharge for credit cards and the wait. I'm still waiting to find a bagel in this area that I'd consider very good. I probably come back to this place, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I remember eating the salads in the car as Mom drove us home. The proprietor, couldn't be a nicer warmer fellow who welcomed me in German as I entered. Anyway, one upsetting issue was the minimum of stock currently available but I guess that's the way these Mom/ Pop deli's are bound to go. I remember Otto's Deli bustling back in the day but that was generations ago. I'm dam near 70 now and with the advent of supermarkets and delivery to home I guess that's a sign of the times. Please, if you're in the area pay Otto's a visit chat with a very nice man and grab a sandwich and a side of salad. Keep a man's dream alive. Super clean and a man actually making product and taking pride since 1971 vs. A factory mush slammed into a container.

We walked in and were completely ignored by the staff for a full 15 minutes. It wasn't until another customer came in and looked ready to order that I had to speak up and point out that we hadn't been served. I placed a simple order for two sandwiches: one plain turkey sandwich and one half pastrami with American cheese and mustard. After another 15 minutes passed, during which at least four other customers who came in after us received their orders, our sandwiches were still nowhere in sight. When I inquired, the staff claimed they "might've fell somewhere" and they couldn't find our order ticket. By this point, my son had been waiting patiently for 45 minutes just to get a simple sandwich. I had to specifically ask them to please, quickly make my son's sandwich as he was very hungry. I always try to be understanding and avoid confrontation, but this level of disregard and inefficiency is unacceptable. Waiting 45 minutes for two basic sandwiches, being ignored, and then told our order was lost is beyond frustrating. This experience has unfortunately pushed me to share this negative review. People here are super chill, the place is clean, and they crank these out fast because they know nobody's here to socialize, we're here to eat. There is seating, but heads up, the foot traffic is heavy and the tables are basically in the splash zone. If people walking inches from your face while you eat bugs you, grab it to go. Personally, I don't love being shoulder checked mid bite. Parking? A pain when it's packed, but what are you gonna do. Bottom line: one of the best spots for a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese.
