They clearly take hygiene seriously, which, for a traveler, or someone often taking road trips like myself, this is a huge sign of respect for their customers. ​The staff is for the most part has always been exceptional. Every employee I've encountered has been friendly, quick, and genuinely helpful. They engage with customers and seem to enjoy their jobs considering their friendliness. This makes my transactions fast and pleasant. ​Beyond the fuel (which is always priced competitively for the area), the amenities are top-notch. Their coffee bar is fantastic--freshly brewed, with a variety of syrups and creamers that rival a dedicated coffee shop. I went to pick her up at the hospital and we drove to Walgreens to get her medicine. They had one filled but not the other. The woman at the drive through just said come in and shop and we will have it ready in 20-30 minutes. My neighbor, 86 years old who had just spent 5 days in the hospital didn't feel like "shopping". I asked why it would take so long to get medication filled and her response was " it's a process ". I can count out 30 pills in 30 seconds. I am new to Owensboro myself but will certainly not use Walgreens on Frederica Street for my personal medication.
