A password protected bathroom is ridiculous, especially when you aren't even going to keep up the standards like making sure you have toilet covers. Clean store but quite pricey. Staff is always very nice. read more

CVS isnt THAT bad except for when: A) you need life sustaining medication B) your doc changes the dosage of an existing prescription C) you expect to get your refills when they are due D) they put someone else's prescriptions in your bag and when you come back to fix the problem they tell you they can't replace your meds you didn't get because the computers now say that you received them As long as you stop expecting the pharmacy staff to be reliable understanding and responsible you'll see that CVS is a great pharmacy! read more

If there were a negative button to review the CVS and the management of the pharmacy, I would use it. I had all of my prescriptions transferred today to Walmart because of the lack of human interaction, understanding, and mostly common sense that no one in the Pharmacy uses. They care more about not filling your prescriptions so they don't have to work that hard than they do about customers and patient care. I would highly encourage if you are reading this review that you use any other pharmacy in Pahrump than CVS. These people need to understand they have jobs because of us and the lack of human care will not be tolerated. Zero stars! Pharmacy staff is rude. Numerous times they act like it's an inconvenience to do anything required with in their job. You can add by closing the drive thru early with no sign and no explanation. So you go into the store and get your prescription and it's such an inconvenience to assist you. God forbid you have to have a consultation with the actual pharmacist. That really messes with their day. I can't even pinpoint who it is because they rotate stores so frequently. But to also add if you have a doctor that calls in a prescription themselves and the tech asks for the patients insurance information and the doc offers to give it over the phone. And the tech says they don't have time to take it and hangs up...... seriously who do these people think they are. read more

With all the technology available this POS pharmacy can't seem to anticipate demand. I pick up the same script, same dose, same day of the month Every Month. When I try to refill my script, they're out of stock. They are incapable of knowing how many items they need. When I complain to the pharmacist all they say is someone came in with the same script. Great, you should still know a person picks up that same script every effing month and maybe you should order more???? If I could find an indie pharmacy that carries this medicine I would dump CVS in a NY minute. read more

The Pahrump location has had quite a few problems in the past couple of years, particularly regarding staff and staffing. Today, I finally decided to type something up as a review. I know that fairly recently a couple of staff pharmacisists have quit. Even more recently several pharmacy techs quit. Not quite enmass, but I know of at least three in the past month. And those were the regular full timers. I went in today to pick up some prescriptions and found a line of twenty people waiting and only four people in the pharmacy, including the pharmacist. I found the staff to be harried and surly, but the pharmacist himself was both argumentative and verbally abrasive. I hope CVS corporate gets their butt off the fence and decides to fix this pharmacy so that things stay fixed. read more

11/2016 Went in last night just to see if anymore Christmas stuff was left. We hit it pretty lucky! I found some body spray 75% off and some tissue paper too! That is usually not something left this long after Christmas but It was kinda hid behind some other items... I was lucky!! Still happy with the service here as well! My Dr. Recently called in an insulin word Er r into CVS. It was for injection once a week. I receive a message that a prescription has been received and they will let me know when it is ready for pickup. I received a CV couple more messages of the same. As after a week and a half I get a message the Insulin was ready. I go down to pick it up. The cashier takes my money, hands me the bag and tells me to have a good day. I made the comment that I had a couple questions since I have never injected my self with insulin before. She said "Oh you want consultation? So I go over to the window and wait for Will or Bill? He comes over like he is put out. He asks what I need. I told him I have never used Insulin or injected myself and don't know what or how to do it. He said, so what do you need to know"?. I told him I need to know how to do it. He told me the instructions were inside the bag. Then I noticed it said an injection every 12 hours. I asked Jim about it and he said "I don't know ask uh our Dr as they are the one that ordered nit". He never looked at my paperwork. Then he turned around, walked off made a call and came back. He said that is what was ordered. I asked him if I need to refrigerate the insulin and he told me after looking at the box to only refrigerator the pen that I was not currently using and did not need to on the one I was using. Age as in look at the instructions. When I left CVS I was totally confused. I go home with my bag and box of my two insulin pens. I go to my laptop and looked up info on how to use the insulin pens. I go to the bag to look for the needles. The bag was only used to staple the instructions to. There was nothing in the bag! I call the pharmacy and asked them about it. I was told, well your doctor did not order any. I asked her, would it not be common sense to know that insulin pens would need needles? She said, it is required that the Dr. Order needles. She said the type of needles that I needed for the insulin pens that I had. They will contact my Dr. and they will order the needles needed and contact me when they come in. I kept checking with them to find out when they came in. When they came in I went down and picked them up. In the mean time? I have been laid off? No insurance now. I still do not know how to work the dosage on or how to inject myself. I was told it was not good to start, stop and restart. My Dr. That prescribed my insulin is in Vegas. So I guess I will need to go to Urgent care and pay out of pocket Or w as it till I get insurance and get instructions on how to use. The Pharmacy is not what I remember growing up. This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used! Kayla is absolutely out of hand. Apparently they got popped by the DEA so when I went to go get my pain meds after my hysterectomy last week she decided I apparently didn't need them. I guess my particular med got flagged and they didn't have it... fine call the doctor it's a stat order with a note for post op!!! Fortunately I was able to track down my surgeon at the hospital and they forced the issue. Well Kayla decided that she was going to inform my husband, my surgeon said he was out of line because he refused to leave until they resolved this with my provider. Funny because 15 minutes after she said that the post op nurse called and said my doctor wanted to make sure the pharmacy took care of me and it was ridiculous I had to go thru this two hours after surgery. I wish this was the first time! Two weeks ago they held my sons and mine... literally the same thing. I ended up calling the cvs I used for 25 years explaining the situation and they filled it in one hour, and could not find a reason why it was held, no interactions, no allergy alerts, not a controlled substance. Please CVS audit your employees you have a few good ones there, but that woman is just nasty and lazy. Also my doctor was pretty annoyed about you lying about what he said... it was "you're ridiculous" meaning the nasty woman on the phone that was causing issues for his patient! I've been going to that practice for 15 years... with health problems guess what they know me, even told me that another pahrump patient went thru something very similar and I should just switch pharmacies because an hour drive is easier than not getting my medications. Also should mention she tried to say electronic orders are not immediate... doc said with controlled substances that was a straight out lie with the new systems. Stay FAR AWAY from this CVS. Absolutely the WORST Customer Service I've ever had!! They are so RUDE!!!! I'm a new customer of 3 months (just moved here) My prescription the last 2 months has been short 30 (last month) they immediately fixed it for me..10 short tonight!! Pharmacist Will J Leighton who by the way is a jerk says his count is right on & I'm lying! I'm NOT lying!!! Now I'm 10 short for this month!! Kayla, one of the pharmacist who works at the CVS in Pahrump, NV is the reason I will not be using CVS for my pharmacy needs ever again. She is incredibly rude, condescending, abrupt, impatient, ill-tempered, unhelpful, mean, bitchy and completely unprofessional. And those are her good qualities! In attempting during a phone call to explain that I'd been given the wrong prescription she exhibited the aforementioned attributes, she included talking (really yelling) over me, making it impossible explain the situation. I asked to speak to a manager politely, at least 6 times or to speak to someone else as it was completely unproductive speaking to her. She finally handed the phone over to another pharmacist named Omid. While he backed her up and said he found nothing wrong with what she said to me at least he was apologetic and somewhat professional. If I had been a manager on duty and heard the way she treated customers over the phone I'd have fired her on the spot! If you are in need of prescription medication I would suggest taking your business to Walgreens down the street which is what I have done, much nicer employees.... read more

extremely poor customer service, very slim understanding of insurance. If you have a primary and a secondary insurance don't expect them to understand how to correctly process your prescription. I was told you can only use one insurance and had to pay my copayment complete incompetence. will be changing pharmacy. read more

Worst customer service. I have to call 10 times for someone to answer because you can only be on hold for 15min at a time before the machine hangs up. It only takes 1-2 min for someone to answer and look up your prescription, but I guess no one here has that time read more

The store is clean, well lit and easy to navigate, partially because like most drugstores today, there aren't many customers away from the pharmacy. Staff is pleasant and the cashiers obedient to their requirement to yell an annoying Welcome to everyone who enters. The pharmacists are particularly helpful, very nice. I was just here for the second time in two hours actually. The pharmacist, Patty is super friendly, Ashley is also very helpful and friendly each and every time I've been here. But Stephanie had me in tears by the time I got to my car. I was treated so rudely by her. This is not the first time. I wish she would realize that she is not the only one who has a busy and demanding job. If you don't like your job then you should be in a different field. Especially if you can't treat people with respect. All I ask was if I could shop around while they got my prescription ready, she walked away shaking her head, I couldn't even hear what she was saying. Calling from a doctors office has to be the worst experience ever, I would never talk the way some of your employees talk over the phone to other Providers offices. I work in a doctors office and the amount of attitude that comes from your employees when I call to change/cancel or call in a prescription is rediculous. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Prescription is never and I mean never ready when it's suppost to be. Today I called to see if script was ready, I was told it would be ready in an hour and a half. Now mind you at this point I have been trying to get it already for 3 days. I wait 3 hours, pull up at the drive through and am told it's not ready, please pull over and wait 15 minutes. So I do Go back to drive through and off course it's not ready. Now I'm beyond mad. I tell the cashier to walk back over there and pull my script and put it in front I'm not leaving. She stares at me and I said "listen I've worked in pharmacy as a tech for years, Go get my script and get it filled now." She turns and walks away then immediately the pharmacist comes to the window and apologized and said he would do it right next now. Which he does. Tomorrow will transfer all my scripts from CVS. Please don't even put yourself through all this when there are several other pharmacy's in town.Unbelievable read more

This is the worst store for getting a prescription filled that I have ever encountered. On Tuesday my doctors office called in a prescription for 2 drugs. I called CVS to confirm they received them and was told the order was ready for pickup. I went to store to pickup at 11:00am and was told they only received an order for 1 drug and not 2. The Dr office again told me they ordered 2. I then picked up written prescriptions for 2 additional drugs and delivered to store at 11:00am and was told to come back after 1:00pm for pickup. When I got to store at 1:15pm they told me that the order would not be ready until 2:14PM. I left and went back at 2:45 and was told they only had 1 of the 2 orders ready. After waiting for about 10 minutes for them to Locate the 1 order I paid for order and was then told they would call me back later that evening to tell me the remaining order was ready. They never called. I called Thursday morning at 8:00am and was told they would have the order ready in 20 minutes. I finally picked up the order at 9:05am. This fiasco could have been much worse had my wife had another stroke because she was not taking one of the drugs for high BP. I will not use CVS Pahrump again unless I have no other choice. I would advise you to do the same. read more
