I'm definitely a cvs fan .. any time I need a nail polish, card, allergy medicine, a snack etc. this is my go to store. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in this particular cvs location. I had stopped by to get some tanning lotion and birthday cards. As I began to read some of the cards, I decided a spanish card would be better but as it turns out this cvs doesn't carry a spanish section of cards. I couldn't believe it, so I asked cvs staff member that was nearby just to make sure. The cvs employee was courteous and apologized for the inconvenience. I was very shocked and felt discriminated. Yes of course I ended up buying a card in english, it wasn't what I actually wanted but I didn't have much time to go to other stores to find a spanish card section. It was definitely my fault for trying to buy a card last minute but I still don't think cvs should have spanish cards section in certain cvs locations only. I will think twice before shopping at any cvs location again. read more

I just drove 30 minutes to pick up my prescription. I was waiting in line as I stepped forward. She says it's now 130. I was there before 1:30 and they're going lunch. This CVS is beyond horrible! Not only did they charge me Double for my prescription but i had to make 3 trips back there to get my money refunded and charged the correct price. What even worse is these dismissive incompetent employees made the claim that this overcharge is not there fault or responsibility. Once again absolutely horrible customer service at the pharmacy. I was unlucky enough to have to deal with Tia the pharmacist on duty. No customer service skills whatsoever and really likes to escalate issues. Tried to have a civil conversation about a prescription but wasn't having it due to her going on lunch in 2 minutes and threatened to call 911 if I didn't leave the store. Now she won't fill my prescription that the doctor had called in a week prior and it's the weekend and I don't have my meds and can't get a new prescription until Monday. Then I moved to palmetto and started coming to the parrish cvs. WORST CVS pharmacy I have ever heard of or experienced. I have been using this place for three years because it is convenient and has a drive through. Lately, the service has been worse. Two days ago we ordered two prescriptions. I have phoned them 4 times and they did not answer even after 10+ minutes. I decided to stop by the store this morning. The pharmacy drive-through is broken, only 2 people working in the store and only 2 people in the pharmacy. I asked for my scripts at 9:45 AM and they are now just ready at 12:45 PM.Sign on the door, SERIOUSLY, Pharmacy Tech wanted, will train. We continue to have problems with this pharmacy. Our doctor ordered an inhaler for my husband on Monday and here it is Friday and they haven't got it. I got it at Walmart and didn't have to wait. read more

I am so impressed by the staff and manager at this (my local) CVS that I keep telling everyone to Go To Them First. The staff has helped me out without asking and found what I needed every time. The best of all is the positive attitude and friendliness. They even have an Information Kiosk (about Medicare) at the front of the store with a knowledgeable Licensed Agent to guide the folks with Medicare and insurance questions. BRAVO!!! read more

Auto filled medication was supposed to be on hold for pickup with a specified date to pick up based on discussion with the pharmacy. Med was put back in stock and told we needed to call to let them know it would be picked up despite the prearrangement. When told it would be ready in an hour, it still wasn't ready after 2 hours. I have to disagree with many on here. I have had nothing but great experiences at the CVS in Parrish. Like others I do not like the lines at 5:30 in the afternoon, but with 25,000 new homes being added and that store being the only pharmacy in Parrish other than Publix it will always be busy. With that said, the staff and in particular Jerry have always been very good to me and my family. We have 5 kids and are there often. They take the time to answer my questions regardless of the line behind me. The store is always clean and the staff always greats us when we walk in. Not much more I could ask for. read more

I have been a customer of CVS for 15 years and have NEVER had any issues to note. However, when I moved to Parrish 3 years ago, I started using the local CVS for my prescription needs and it has been nothing but trouble. In 90% of my experiences in the past 3 years, the staff has been incompetent, inconsiderate, and even downright rude and nasty at times. I had a change in insurance policy (but same company), and that was more than they could handle. I spoke to at least 4 different people who consistently could not seem to figure it out and kept referring me back to my insurance company, who kept telling me the same (correct) story. I am OVER it, and will be transferring over all of my prescriptions immediately to another source. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY HERE! read more

Sat on hold for 45mins trying to transfer an emergency script, finally gave up and drove to another location while having an asthma attack. I needed that prescription immediately as mine was lost by the airline. I WILL NEVER RELY ON CVS AGAIN!!! read more

If I could give NO STARs I would. For months I have been battling with this pharmacy who cannot get a prescription right no matter how many times our doctor has called and sent in the script. Inevitably it is lost, or the staff denies taking the call or gets the dosage and frequency wrong. Today they messed it up again. I had confirmation of a call and a fax which they denied ever receiving even after a staff member from the pharmacy calling my husband an hour before saying the medication was ready! Today while I was there- they had 6 staff members running around like crazy, a line of people and several of them complaining about scripts they lost or couldn't find- so clearly I am not alone. I finally complained to the manager today which I'm sure will go nowhere. This pharmacy is poorly run and clearly has quality issues that FL state should investigate. read more

Unfortunately the pharmacy staff at this location would rather not be bothered. Customers are treated as an inconvenience. The pharmacists will not fill a prescription for pain, period! I had just come from oral surgery; my jaw swollen. I had 2 prescriptions, one for pain and one antibiotic. Standard answer given for the pain medication, come back Friday, we will have it then. I had an antibiotic and pain prescription on three separate occasions from my oral surgeon and all three times the same answer and excuse. This was the most convenient CVS in my area, and I am so glad I will be moving, so I don't ever have to deal with the staff at this place. I called to check on a prescription. After patiently waiting to speak to a representative, I was greeted with such a rude and impatient pharmacy staff member. I tried to keep my cool, but her attitude was horrible. Store raised the price by 100% on the CVS brand of Acidophilus Probiotic 15mg, 30 Count from $10.49 to $20.99 on 01/01/18. The on-line price is still $10.49. I contacted corporate and the Rep. stated that this was the correct pricing. I wonder how many other products have been raised by that large amount. I can see a few dollars more for the store and employee expenses but 100%. I guess they need the money after buying Aetna. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I am a huge fan of pharmaceuticals, so the fact that this CVS has a drive-thru pharmacy makes picking up all my Rx's convenient and simple. When I do decide to meander inside, parking is never an issue as there are plenty of parking spots specifically assigned to golf carts, unlike the neighboring Walgreen's. There is a Red Box located outside, so a quick stop at CVS to pick up some popcorn, wine, family planning and a movie make it a one-stop-shop for date night. CVS also has great sales on cosmetics and beauty items. Malibu Musk is my signature fragrance. Unfortunately, department stores do not carry it, but I can always count on CVS to have this as well as many other fine fragrances such as Vanilla Fields and Ex'cla.ma'tion. I definitely recommend this CVS for your Rx and beauty needs. read more

Always professional and courteous. We transferred all of our prescriptions from Walgreens a few months ago because of our customer service.

I am blind and need assistance occasionally and must ask questions pertaining to my dosages. And etc. I have never been treated so horribly in my life as they treat me at the CVS... I have to go to this particular one because of lack of transportation to other areas and also my insurance makes this a strong suggestion. I pray that someone reads this review that can or will make a difference... because the other reviews I have read through were from years past I doubt this will be seen and that's a pity. They are the rudest most inconsiderate bunch I have ever experienced. I recognize the fact that they are busy but absolutely no excuse. If by circumstance you have a pain medication to be filled you will be greeted as if you were a strung- out no count good for nothing entity... I was so frustrated one day that I told the lady trying to check me out that this was a bad experience for everyone that was in that line waiting. And that she was the worst she straightened up for the last few seconds but subsequent returns she still there and still treating me the same.
