I've been a Customer at this Publix for many years, but this is the worst service I have ever experienced in the Deli area. I stood in line for 25min. No one acknowledged you to say someone will be with you, sorry you had to wait. But instead they acted as if they didn't "SEE" you or know that you where there. Only one person working his name is Huy, you can tell that he was new at this, that I can understand. He worked on one customer who had 4 orders. The worker next to him was Pat who was doing Orders On Line, I believe. He could have spoken or acknowledged you instead of turning a Blind-Eye. I've seen the Employees call for help in times pass but not this time. But instead no one lift a finger to help Huy out at all. I saw others walk away cause it took so long. I don't Complain but no one tried to work to get the line down. I've worked Customer Service I understand , but please don't treat me or anyone else differently because of the Color of their skin. If the Scenery was different Customer Service would have been too in the Deli, they would have worked together as "A Team," to get the line down. Today at SR 64E Publix At Rivers Edge I had the worst Customer Service ever. I hope it change, but you can't change people hearts. A "Good Employee," is one who works from " the heart," when no one is watching!! I'm very sad, I hope this never happens again. I said what I said!! read more

Pharmacy staff is awesome. I don't like that they took most of the registers away. I know that they are trying to get away from actual ppl ringing you up. If I'm ringing up my own groceries I should get a discount. Love Boars head! After a get the few things that I know Walmart doesn't carry I go across the street to Walmart and finish my shopping bc Publix prices are so much higher. I will continue getting my meds there just bc of the staff. And the few things that I cannot find at other stores. read more

In general, I typically have a relatively good experience whenever I shop at Publix. However, this location is not up to par with other locations I've shopped at. Last week, I went to the Publix off 301 & Old Tampa Rd in Parrish and requested turkey meatballs (rather than beef) & the wonderful butcher took the time to make them. BTW, this was not the 1st time I've requested turkey meatballs (which they sometimes have pre-made in the case) or for something to be ordered. The butchers at the Parrish location are very friendly and always accommodating. Well, fast forward to this week at this SR64 Publix when I requested turkey meatball, the woman at the meat/fish counter tells me "No, we can't make them for you. You have to pick from what's out already." I said "ok, thank you" and left even though I knew that she has the authority to make them. There was no way I was going to have her prepare anything for me with that lazy attitude. Later in the day, I went to the Parrish Publix and guess what, the butcher there said "let me find the recipe, give me a few minutes and I'll make them for you. How many packages would you like?" This woman at the fish/meat counter at the SR64 Publix was my first negative experience with Publix ever. For this reason, I will not return to this location. She needs customer service training or to find another job that doesn't have much public interaction. read more

I love Publix subs. They are truly awesome. The break down is the online ordering. Not only at this location, but others as well. I have never placed an online order with Publix that it was ready when I arrived. Zero times - even if I'm with someone else. I officially give up. If I want one from now on, I'll just stand in line. If I could give this store less than a one star I would! HORRIBLE customer service, they don't restock items that disappear for months at a time(I am co soldering the experience I had before covid) and when you ask for special requests they are "yes" men/women... product Never appears and no contact is made. Any time I have a choice as in where I am- I will always go somewhere else's cause I HATE this store! (Hate is a strong word and I definitely mean it) they don't stock a lot of the items I prefer to use either. They are. OT. Using to the population of shoppers now... they've stayed with what's been there 10-20 years ago (I'd the stores even been open that long). EST customer service is when you cater to the customers that Shop your store. All you do is Push your customers to other stores. Pathetic! read more

Normal Publix experience. The employees were friendly and helped us find the restroom. The store was cleaned, the shelves were well stocked and the check out lines were very quick. The prices are the same at other public stores as to be expected. When browsing the deli and bakery was well stocked with delicious looking items. The parking lot was empty, made a quick in and out for the snacks we needed for the beach. read more

Olden is an awesome guy! He saw that I was standing in a long line for just few items and he quickly took action in opening a register for me. The subs are great, but the experience of actually getting them is getting much worse. It keeps taking a half hour or more to get one and they keep running out of types of bread, veggies and meat that's already cut (takes another 5 minutes per sub just to cut more). Every time I have went for a sub people decide to leave after waiting for a very extended time. I had to leave after waiting 20+ minutes and hearing the person in front of me being told they ran out of white bread again. (There was only one person in front of me). Hopefully they fix the process to get a sub because there good as long as you have the time and luck to get one. I'll update the review if they find a way to help customers somewhat faster and stock ingredients a bit better. read more

I always shop here. Today is one of busiest day due to hurricane Irma is coming. On pet isle I saw 3 different product of Purina have promo buy 1 get 1 free (salmon with egg & salmon with tuna & lamb with rice & grains free chicken) , I checked the sticker in the front of products to make sure it is right promo products, i choice salmon with egg and lamb with rice because my husky is picky eater and I want he try 2 different type. Went check out they said the salmon with egg does not have promo. Oh well so I told Jeff (manager) stood there that can I remove the salmon with egg and but have same brand but different type with the lamb one. I meant I want the salmon with tuna. He ran fast and came back with same lamb bag. I told him I want the different type. He told me seriously? Oh pretty attitude there for a shopping place where it's said customer best service. It is not 1st time Publix error on their price and promo. I caught them at least 5 time and one of time organic pear bag label said 3.99 but they checkout at 5.99. One other time 2 pack cream cheese label said 2 for 6 but they checkout at 3.75 each. And especially when manager attitude like that how can people dare to tell them to check their price again? read more

I am a BIG time Whole Foods fan for the past 8 years, at least I was, until I went in to Publix. I am so impressed with the employees attitudes, the cleanliness of the store, the beautiful fresh fruits and veggies. I do like Fresh Market and Trader Joes, but as far as I'm concerned our Publix beats them all. Great Job Bradenton Store. BTW I haven't been disappointed with anything in this store. Terrible experience. I am usually greeted when I enter the door, item was out of stock but the employee was quick and polite to help and try to locate item in the back. Cashier named Kay was extremely rude, had an attitude and just looked like she did not want to be there. I tried being friendly and said hello to her and didn't look too receptive. I also asked if she didn't mind getting me paper bags since my partner and I have to carry bags up tree flights of stairs and she didn't respond. Maybe she didn't hear me, fine. But she also stood there and crossed her arms while my partner and I bagged everything. She could of helped us with something... I also called and try to talk to a manager and I got a woman named Jasmin. She said she was sorry about my experience and that she would talk to the employee but her tone sounded very disinterested. I have just never experienced so many people who just don't care, it's your job, you work with people. Learn how to listen, be friendly, solve customers problems and mostly, learn how to smile and have fun at your job. Don't be so miserable, my shopping experience was not a pleasure. read more

Less than one star actually. I bought rice along with some other items from the store and the rice had bugs in it. I never call to complain about anything, but I was so disgusted that I picked up the phone to call the manager. First time I called I was hung up on, which is a pretty legit way of handling things ...I called back and explained to the manager about the bugs and she nonchalantly tells me just bring the receipt back and get a refund. I then asked her about the stores cleanliness, storing procedures and shelf life of items, which all had no response. Finally she says I'll send someone over to take a look at the area. This is my first time using yelp and felt I needed to. There are plenty of other options, don't waste your time with this one. read more

Every time i go here, the employees go above and beyond. Customer service at it's finest. I have been taken care of too many times to list them all, but one example. "I was making my gf dinner one night so I decided on king crab and filet. The meat department had sold out of filet, the meat manager over there noticed i was upset and i told him they were out of filet and it was a special dinner, he personally went in back and cut me two of the best porterhouse steaks and gave me a great discount on the king crab."
