I've never had any major issues with this location. Much better than the one on Magothy. They always seem to be short staffed but I won't blame them for that. Any issue I've ever had (scripts taking longer than expected to fill) would be easily explained by the fact that they are understaffed, but the staff is always friendly regardless. read more

They are doing covid testing in the drive thru lane. The same drive thru lane that is used to pick up prescriptions. So it's at least 5 to 10 minutes for each car in front that is doing covid testing. I feel like they should have a separate location or tent for this to not inconvenience customers picking up prescriptions who do not wish or are not able to go inside. On the bright side, Roy (i believe that's his name per the receipt) is super friendly and welcoming every time I drive thru. He always apologizes for the wait even though he doesn't make the rules. My husband and I are both sick, we went to urgent care Friday 12/29/2023, got some of our prescriptions, still sick and waiting for our prescriptions, I know they are short handed, but prescriptions should be filled promptly. Extremely disappointed in my CVS, FT. SMALLWOOD RD. read more

CVS PHARMACY ON FT. Smallwood Rd in Pasadena MD has the Worst Pharmacy Manager I have ever seen. Rude, condescending, doesn't smile, very unfriendly, and acts like he hates people. He treated me like I was so inferior to him and I was not feeling well at all so I really couldn't tell him what I thought. I wish they would hire someone who actually cares about people. Someone kind. Someone who smiles. He is so miserable. And he takes it out on his customers. He doesn't belong in our community. read more

After the Magothy Beach location was unable to fill my sons prescription and me being frustrated from their lack of customer service the Fort Smallwood location saved the day. The pharmacist and tech were very helpful and compassionate. I appreciate all their help and fast turn around. read more

I went to pick up a script yesterday. They did not have it ready. Promised this morning. Still not ready. Went tonight, drive thru was closed with a sign that said closed not enough help!!! I go inside only to find a line that stretched from the pharmacy to almost the front of the store. I could not wait that long. Hoping tomorrow will be better. I left there long ago and have been so glad I did. Mikes pharmacy 2 is the best. CVS you need to do better. The script was for a friend who is 95 years old. She had to use CVS because she is a retired teacher and that's who her insurance contract is with. It's sad that CVS just doesn't seem to care. Cathy L. read more

Sat with my wife for damn near 20 minutes in the drive thru to pick up her scripts -- Finally I walked inside, walked straight to the counter and got them-- Meanwhile the same people were still at the drive they window clogging up the line. Every time I've ever been at CVS and my prescription wasn't ready they had me get out of line -- But I guess this CVS plays favorites. I mentioned to the pharmacy tech when I picked it up we'd been waiting in line -- She just smiled, didn't care a bit. No apology, in fact, she didn't say a thing other than what was owed. I just drove over two hundred miles for my grandson's graduation and stopped in to get a card. I had a ver disturbing encounter with an employee after asking for a restroom. Her abusive behavior was completely out of line, screaming at me and when I told her that she was rude it became worse. I never raised my voice and kept my composure. I quickly reported her to CVS customer service. And I will never go in there again. read more

So I called ahead to find out if they provide walk-in covid testing and was put into a phone tree. I asked if they do walk-in covid testing and the system advised that walk-in testing was available and no appointment was necessary. I drove over to get tested and they said they don't do walk-in testing and I had to make an appointment. Wish they would get their act together. I went across the street to Wise Urgent Care who did the test without any problems. read more

I will be removing my business from this CVS. Despite multiple requests, this pharmacy continues to put ALL of our medications on auto refill. I do not want any medications on auto refill. Every time they fill something, I get repeated robo calls and auto texts asking me to come pick up a refill that I do not want or need. I don't have time for this annoyance so we will be filling our prescriptions elsewhere from now on. read more

Myself and my doctor had a terrible experience with the pharmacy on Ft Smallwood Rd. My doctor called multiple times, leaving messages that were unanswered, waiting on hold etc.... They finally got through after a few days and the pharmacist (Jackson) said he would order the prescription. Never did he say that there could be issues with getting it. About a week later, I still had no update on my prescription so I gave the a call. I was told that they couldn't get it and I should just try somewhere else. I asked to talk to Jackson (who tried to pass me off to someone else immediately) and who did not understand that making someone wait for over a week to get something they need and then not calling and just saying 'good luck' is not acceptable customer service. The best part is when I asked him about it he actually hung up on me. I will never go there again and recommend that you find somewhere else if you actually need someone to help you in any way. Reading the other reviews it sounds like there are a number of issues I hope they address. read more

I have been getting my Rx filled here for about 9 years and I have only had one bad experience several years ago. They have consistently improved customer service over the years. I have never been given the wrong Rx and the pharmacist has always been helpful when I had questions. read more

This place is the most God awful pharmacy. I have to stand there for a half hour minimum every time. Something normally goes wrong and it's never their fault. Its just a big coincidence. Don't use them if you don't have to. read more

My family has been using this pharmacy for almost 10 years now and it has been ok at best. I was treated like a crack head when I tried to pick up a family members prescription.
