A Pharmacy that's like a Box of Chocolates from Forrest Grump - some visits are great and some visits are worse. The pharmacy staff are kind enough to get you a coupon discount if the insurance pricing doesn't get applied but I've also had experiences in the past where they couldn't simply honor a prescription and went back and forth with the doctor's office. The shop is also most of the time not very well maintained and will have boxes stacked dangerously for any kids that might run around. The parking space is good enough for the CVS customers. read more

When we call Pharmacy there is tremendous Hold-wait for patients to connect with Pharmacist. Hopefully they need 2 Plus pharmacists on job as at time the hold on phone line is beyond 30-45 minutes! 45 minutes, the patient may end up in ER!! I have been a customer here for years. I forgot to use my coupon today and came back a few hours later to get my receipt adjusted. There was no one at the register for over 8 minutes. I rang the bell several times. Finally an employee showed up. He and another employee informed me they could not apply the coupon without bringing the items back in. I tried several times to get resolution but to no avail. My boyfriend came back with the item and they denied saying they needed the item to credit me back. They again would not honor the coupon even with the item and receipt right in front of them. What kind of place does this! I despise them now and will never shop here again. This CVS may not be the best pharmacy I've ever used, but they are pretty reliable nonetheless. The location has become my default pharmacy over the past two years. It's kept clean and tidy. The Pharmacy staff are friendly and knowledgeable, but there's one guy that gives me the creeps. The only way I can describe it is he seems like an alien in human skin. If you run into him, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Anyways, there's plenty of parking in and around their lot. There is usually not a not long wait at the register and have most items stocked well. Pharmacy is not as "attentive". There is a younger girl at the checkout that does not know what she is doing and has no sense of customer service yet but she will start to learn as the complaints continue. I asked her a simple question how much will the prescription come out to and she told me repeatedly to see consultation until finally getting it! Slow..and gave me the bag unprofessionally. I'm gonna go ahead and "live review" this one as I go... Pulled up to the drive thru pharmacy, sat there for 15 minutes ringing every 5 minutes or so for help. Kept getting a recorded message saying a team member will be with me shortly...never happened. Now I'm standing in line inside at the pharmacy, because apparently their drive thru option is just for kicks. Been standing here at the pick up counter for 10 minutes or so, with only two people in front of me. Woohoo! I'm at the counter. Gave my name for pick up, he asked for my address. I paused and asked if it should be my billing or mailing address because I have two, and instead of clarifying he then immediately READ MY ENTIRE ADDRESS OUT LOUD. Are you kidding me? Not only could I have not been who I claimed to be, but now everyone around me heard that. Not even going to get into the HIPAA violations here. Um, ask for ID you idiot, I'd like to keep my identity MINE. [he fetches my Rx] And now, silly me, I ask about the drive thru. Because this has happened to me three times now-sat out there for a while, no one responded, eventually had to give up and come inside. He stumbled over his response for a full minute before replying, and I quote, "there's nothing wrong with the drive thru system, it's just a problem with, ummm, us. We're really busy." Fine. My first time in this CVs ! The lady that was at the resister was extremely nice . I bought sour patch kids for the day today and she started a conversation with me about it . Currently have been trying to get a hold of the pharmacy for 40+ minutes over the phone. First, I was on the phone for 15 minutes, so I hung up and called the front register to have them transfer me. I spoke to a nice woman who told me she'd let them know I was on the line. Still waiting even longer. I have had the same issue with this pharmacy over and over again. Honestly, I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Always disappointed. Get your prescriptions elsewhere. read more

The employees here are the nicest!!!! From the pharmacy counter to the checkout desk by the front door !!! I'm super sensitive about customer service and this CVS definitely takes the trophy . If I could give this CVS no stars I would. There is ever only one cash register open, first of all. Second, the pharmacy and all of the pharmacists are absolutely atrocious. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. THAT I GO. I could ask to fill my prescription one day and they will tell me it will be ready by 5, and when I get there by 5:30 it's still not ready and I end up waiting for an extra 25 minutes in the parking lot. AT LEAST. These people are complaining incompetent and I have no idea how they still have their jobs. This is just one of the very many situations that I have encountered with these people. I've used this CVS twice because it's closer to my home (the one by my job in Green Brook is MUCH better). Both times, my meds were not ready despite my NP calling the script in 2+ hours prior to my arrival (I know when my NP called them in because she happens to be my sister). I will no longer use this pharmacy. After the second time of them screwing up and making me wait (and therefore being late to a dentist appointment), I will no longer use this CVS Pharmacy. read more

Crazy inefficiency. Waited for 35 minutes while feeling sick and in pain only for them to give me half of my prescription. Good thing I checked in the car! Came back in, and they made me wait all the way at the back of the line even AFTER the other half of prescription became ready. "Those other people were in line." I was in line long before them! And I would have been done if CVS had just given me all of my prescription at once. read more

This CVS store's pharmacy provided me exceptionally great service. I needed a temporary supply of a prescription drug and they expended an amazing effort to help me get those tablets. The pharmacist, Rafeek Mina, who expressed genuine worry that I did not have a drug meant to control a medical condition, faxed my doctor. The following day, another member of the pharmacy staff noted that they had not received a reply from my doctor and faxed another request. When I stopped in and Rafeek learned that my doctor still had not responded, he had my doctor paged so that he could get the prescription for me. Yes, it took two days to get my drugs, but the delay was caused by my doctor's office. All this for $14 in drug revenues. I felt particularly honored by this pharmacy. read more

This is a terribly inefficient Pharmacy. The Drive thru 'window' is a pneumatic tube and you have no idea what is going on because you can't actually see the people and they have absolutely no communication skills. Here is an example of my last interaction. Went to drop off script at Drive-thru. Rang bell once and waited five min. Finally a person answered and sent the tube. I put in my script and sent it back. Then I waited for the normal acknowledgement that it was received, they had the meds in stock, when to come back. There was nothing but silence for five more min. Finally started ringing the bell again and five min later an annoyed staffer said they we're checking and gave me a time to come back. Total time at Drive thru was fifteen min. I came back later in the day to get the meds and went into the store to avoid the Drive thru. I purposely came back hours after the time they promised. Three people ahead of me. It took twenty min for me to reach the head of the line at which time I was told that my script was ready but the pharmacist had to verify it. The woman at the register was nice but the process was incredibly slow. I waited for five min before she checked with pharmacist who rudely said she would get to it. Ten min later she checked again. I'm standing by the side of the register thaw whole time. Another rude response. Finally I see the pharmacist complete my order and throw it in a bin without alerting the counter person even though she knew I had been waiting for almost 45 min. Avoid this Pharmacy at all costs. There are many others in the area who have much better communication and customer focused processes. read more

Today I was stunned when I went there and they actually had the item in stock and. I only had to wait ten minutes. I asked if they got a new manager and they said yes. Huge improvement. This has never happened before in the eight years I have been going there. read more

Questioning the Checkout procedure. I feel like I was racially profiled because the cashier double checked my $20 bill. He did not double check the previous customer. This is the closest CVS to my house, and most times I go there, there is some sort of issue. Last time I went to buy eye wash in an emergency situation and the cashier continued stocking instead of ringing up the sale. He stopped stocking after I ripped open the package and began to lift it up so I could to begin using the eye wash. CVS, please remind your staff that they are dealing with sick and injured people, so that they may behave appropriately, and in a timely, professional manner. Also, Tonight's cashier's behavior with the $20 bill really made me feel as if he'd been instructed to check the currency used by African American customers... Not a good feeling. Please note that I shrug these types of things off, but that level of unprofessionalism prompted me to write this review. They need retraining. read more
