Convenient location for me. The store is laid out nicely, so I can generally find everything I need. The signs above the aisles are easy to read, so I can usually go right to what I'm looking for. These guys are so helpful every time I stop by. I tend to come in a panic because of something I completely forgot to get at the last minute, and the folks who work here are always good to answer my questions and help me find what I need. Yesterday, I needed to get something from a locked display. As I looked around for someone close by who could open it, a security team member from across the store saw me searching and came right over to lend a hand. Like I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with their customer service. The store is always well stocked, so I am able to find what I'm looking for. It's Pittsburgh, who can find it? The streets are nuts. It is around the Wood Street Station but where? But I had a coupon and THIS store carries boxes of Sarris Candy. So I was motivated. I love the location and the selection at the 5th st location in Pittsburg. They are still open during Covid and have a very good selection in all depts including food/beverage. The staff is positive and always very helpful. They do close early so be sure to be done by 6pm M-F, weekend hours may vary. read more

It was okay for a CVS in the city. We were in town on business and my husband had forgotten a few things, so I did a quick search on Yelp and this was about the only choice I found. So we ventured out and found the store pretty easily. It's very small compared to what we are used to, and seemed a bit old and dingy but for essentials it was fine. Ther service was a little slow - one of the cashiers was having trouble with something - but then another cashier appeared, rang us up and we were on our way. read more

I absolutely hate this CVS. Don't deem yourself a pharmacy and then have the most limited hours on the planet. There are actually individuals who need scripts on Sunday after the hour of 2P. Additionally the pharmacy staff have always been extremely slow and not very attentive to those coming to drop off/pick up scripts. Final complaint is the store overall, all items are significantly marked up compared to Target, Amazon or any other store. Coming here is a waste. read more

I can't believe CVS' close at 7pm on a week night, but I guess I'm spoiled by our 24 hour CVS here in Florida. This was about 1/4 the size I'm used to but they had just about everything I needed. Got my second covid shot here, they have walk in hours from 2-3 pm. Walked right in, got my shot, waited the 15 minutes and walked out. Everyone was lovely, pharmacist was very knowledgeable, the cashier was so sweet, everything was pretty clean. Solid CVS. read more

It was a pretty convenient location as we were walking through the Market Square area. We didn't travel too far into the store, but all looked well like a normal CVS. It was a bit busy when we went in with some pretty strange people lurking at the entrance into the building. All in all though. we found what we needed, allergy medicine, and got out of there without any issues. The cashier was pretty funny too, as he could see that we were both sick of sneezing and needed this medicine we were getting so he took full advantage of cracking some jokes. read more

I once waited over an hour to pick up a prescription. It was my day off so it was no biggie but even though this is the largest CVS Downtown it gets really really busy even for it's large size it gets packed. They have implemented a suite of self check lanes. This CVS has a large, "ethnic" hair care selection that revivals Sally's Beauty Supply in my opinion.I know from now on for any of my hair care needs I will be going to CVS instead of Sally's. . read more

They say work harder....I say work smarter... Umm... its located in downtown Pittsburgh you would think it would be bigger... I personally don't care which pharmacy i go to ...whatever is convent i would just to go... but i do prefer the other pharmacy's around downtown....they have a better selection of products compare to this CVS i go to.... But CVS does have good sales...came here and i got a two liter soda for less then a dollar...it's all personal preference....they don't have a parking lot...and the area is hard to find parking... read more

I wandered around Market Square (10 minutes ), for a decent salad and a fairly short line. Found both at CVS. The last Michigan Salad ($4.99/8.5 oz.), and it was crisp, fresh, delicious. Best of all, NO iceberg lettuce, just romaine, feta, cranberries, walnuts, raspberry vinaigrette dressing. No skimping on anything. No outside spots in Market Square, so I snagged a bench ocross from The Fairmont Hotel, and enjoyed bird and people-watching. This is always my Plan B, if I'm near Market Square.
