GetGo is a chain convenience store and gas station that is owned by the Giant Eagle grocery store. This particular GetGo is conveniently located on McKnight Road, and I believe that it is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For years, my husband and I have visited this GetGo location, mostly to purchase gas for our vehicle and sometimes to buy snacks and beverages in the cafe. GetGo's prices for gas are similar to what other gas stations charge, but my husband likes to use his Giant Eagle "fuelperks" to get discounts on our premium gas here. We have not experienced any problems with using the gas pumps or our credit cards. The cafe serves foods such as breakfast sandwiches, jalapeno poppers, pretzels, salads, wraps, submarine sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, fries, chicken tenders, burgers, quesadillas, pizzas, and off-the-shelf snacks and beverages. I always love eating at this GetGo.. I never have a bad experience .. but this time i stopped after work to get a sandwich after a 17 hour shift. Got in the car to drive a 1hr drive home and guess what.. my top bun is missing LOL. i'm not gonna give the worst review because mistakes happen and honestly, i laughed about it. and i still ate the sandwich anyway and it was still fire. read more

I'm a loyal sheetz fan, but get go has a lot of good stuff too. They have new freezer doors that have a showcase display in them, which kind of bothered me. You couldn't see into the freezer, just the display. Idk it just seemed weird and kind of unnecessary. I'm giving this location 3-stars because I got a bubble tea off the shelf, and I think it was old or something bc it made me feel pretty sick. I have had boba tea a lot so idk what to as wrong with that one, but the bubbles were also like wrinkly. read more

GetGo is such a staple for my lunches! When I have a busy workday, I know that if I swing in here that my lunch will be quick. The ordering is super simple, and I love all of the vegetarian menu items. They even have a black bean burger, and chicken less chicken fingers! My normal go to is the vegetarian "chicken" wrap. This is a pretty big location. It has a lot of pumps to handle the flow of vehicles along McKnight Road. I needed to get gas and air. I was able to accomplish one of those things while here. Gas was aplenty and I had no trouble whatsoever finding a pump and completing that task. When it came to the air situation. No dice. There are two air pumps available here. I use available in a loose way here. When they work they are available. Both air pumps were down. I needed air more than I needed gas and was my main purpose for stopping here. Generally a gas station is a gas station especially when they are self service. Get is part of the giant eagle chain so if you have a giant eagle card you get a discount on the gas as well as can use any point accumulated from purchases on giant eagle card. The regular price at the pump was about the same as any other station. but one I scanned my giant eagle card it brought the price from 2.79 to 1.99 a gallon. I will continue to go to get go whenever I am in the area and need gas. if you shop at Giant eagle be sure to scan your card at the pump in order to get the discounts. read more

Well times change ... when the GetGo opened it had a steady staff. Now every time you go there the staff is different. Prior to alcohol sales, the morning commuters would be getting their coffee, quick meals would be bought on the way to soccer practice ... etc. With the alcohol sales, a different clientele are regulars. I foresee myself just purchasing gas in the future. I no longer see staff taking pride in their job and the big push of alcohol at the registers is off putting. read more

This was our go-to GetGo location when we lived in Pittsburgh. This GetGo is pretty big inside with lots of convenience items and a lot of gas pumps to keep the lines moving. It does get pretty crowded at times, so be prepared for this. The store itself is organized and clean, but the restrooms can definitely be better maintained. I would overall recommend this GetGo location! read more

Bought a Mastercard debit card from this location for my son to take to Kennywood, and minutes after buying the card, the funds were drained by a mystery company out of Colorado. This review is because of a lack of air. I use various GetGo, Sheetz, Wawa, etc. GetGo has become my last choice. Usually the GetGo stores are not as well maintained as the others. Usually the bathrooms are a bit dirtier and the food and checkout lines are a little longer. I keep a close watch on my tire pressure because I travel a lot. The free air at GetGo is usually good for free aggravation more than air. Today I needed air and one pump was marked as not working (I think). The other let air out of my tire which required me to drive along busy mcknight road looking for another source of air, but now with a tire that was nearly flat. The pumps not working seems to be the trend at GetGo. Much like many of getgo offers and services, it is easy to make promises that are never fulfilled. This GetGo has the nicest, happiest, most positive staff! I stop here for lunch or after work about twice a week and someone here always makes me smile. I work across the street, which people familiar with McKnight Road will know is directly next door to a McDonald's. As a busy blue-collar worker, I often ended up running to McDonalds or sending my order with a co-worker to re-fuel as the day presses on, but no more! GetGo has been really good for us. It's nice to have those healthier options right across the street- you can run over and get anything you want, from fresh fruits and veggies to burgers to hot pockets- all for about the same price you'd pay for super greasy fast food. During the summer there was a farmer's booth outside!! That's awesome. It's also a pretty big gas station, and they have free air with the digital gauges. While it is always busy, it's never so busy that things get crazy, and the employees are friendly and helpful. read more

I love this Getgo because it is so convenient for me. It's right across from my apartment so if I need anything quick I stop here! I'm here pretty much every day and night! I really love all the staff here, especially everyone who works nights. I'm sure working late nights is no fun for most but these guys never show it! Always joking around and having fun, and it makes me like coming back! I also will stop for coffee in the morning but they are super busy in the morning so everyone is just trying to get in and out. The cashiers are always good about ringing you out quick then. My main complaint about this location is the food service. No matter what time of day I have come in here to order food, morning, afternoon, night, it takes forever. I don't think they have enough staff which causes the slow turn around times. I know it's just a gas station but compared to competitors they are extremely slow. I don't think other getgo are so slow either. Hopefully they can improve that! Food is always done right and how I ordered so at least it is with the wait! Overall I just can avoid going here, and I don't mind it! Great to finally have a larger gas station conveniently located on McKnight Road. It's always crowded but I've never had to wait for a pump. I pass two other gas stations on my way to and from the gym, both are BP's, but since Getgo opened I haven't bothered stopping at either one. Since I get my prescriptions filled at Giant Eagle I usually have some savings at the pump with my Advantage card. This space used to be a used imported car lot that never seemed to get much traffic. My salad consisted of rotting and yellow lettuce- and of course I am at work and could return so I ended up taking time out and picking thru the lettuce. MY FAVORITE GETGO! When I stop to use my Fuel Perks, I usually end up leaving in a terrible mood because I had to wait in line and dodge other cars/pedestrians to get out of the parking lot. This location on McKnight Road is amazing. So much space and SO many pumps! The awful experiences I'm referring to are the one at Butler/40th in Lawenceville, and Centre/Morewood in Shadyside. This get go is always very crowded due to the central location on McKnight Road and near the mall. It's a typical get go, nothing special. I've never eaten here and have only stopped for gas so not a whole lot to say on that front. read more

This GetGo is remarkably roomy for its location. Nineteen pumps and plenty of parking outside, and inside is spacious with a large cafe seating area. The register area is in the middle of the store, eliminating a jam up at one area. read more

I don't come here too often. Bobbys second job is out here so if he happens to be working and we happen to be low on gas, I stop here. Its pretty easy to get in and out of, tons of drinks to choose from and decent already made salads and hoagies. Of course you can always get something made to order.
