At SLC Airport, I called CVS ... to reroute the order to the CVS near my home in SoCal. I was unable to speak with someone but did leave a voice mail. (Thinking nobody at CVS would return my call). So, ready for this? Within twenty minutes, a CVS staff member returned my call ... discussed the details of the order ... and confirmed the order will be transferred immediately to the CVS in SoCal. I see why their review ratings are low. I just tried to call and get a cash price for a prescription. Of the 3 pharmacies that I called, they were the only one that required me to leave a voice mail and wait for a call back. No biggie, but I got a representative right away at the other pharmacies. CVS did call me back about 15 minutes later. They informed me they couldn't give me a price without the prescription. The other pharmacies gave me a cash price right away. What is wrong with you CVS? I will be shopping elsewhere. read more

I stood in the pharmacy line for 20 minutes and when I was finally the third person in line they said they were closing for lunch and shut the cage in front of us without even allowing us to protest. I had a simple pick up and they wouldn't help me or finish the line before leaving for lunch. I asked to speak to a manager (like a Karen) to suggest they put a stop to the line and finish it so people aren't waiting for nothing and while I was waiting I saw one of the kid pharmacists leaving. I told him to enjoy his lunch and asked why he couldn't finish the line first and he said they try but they clearly didn't this time. I asked if his time was more important then mine and he said yes. I am shocked how I was treated, the line is always 10+ people long at this CVS with the drive through closed, even at 10pm at night. I will never come back to this pharmacy and you shouldn't support their awful customer service either. read more

I waited in the drive thru for about 10 mins without any assistance. I tried to called the pharmacy to see if they were even open, but no one picked up. Finally I decided I'd park and go inside. Because of the lack of service at the window and on the phone, I assumed that it was closed or they were short staffed. I went inside to see that there were four or five workers just keeping to themselves as the phones went off and the drive thru stayed packed. It took a couple minutes for anyone to come and assist me even though I was the only person in line. When they did come, they were slow and didn't seem to care much. All of that for them to tell me that the prescription had not yet been filled and I would have to wait another 30 minutes for it. Very, very frustrating and I will never be using this pharmacy again. read more

Honestly, the drive thru is impressively quick. Even with a long line, the employee at the window gets you through and your prescription taken care of! Service tends to be slower inside, with the employees rushing to fill orders as they come in. I have never had a problem here! My only complaint is the parking lot situation to get to the drive through- I have nearly gotten hit quite a few times, when cars don't look around the corner! I'd recommend! read more

Worst experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. Pharmacy sold me glucose test strips for $189.99 and they didn't fit my meter. Tried to exchange the unopened and fully intact box for the correct test strips and they refused --pharmacy manager Robert Nilsson was very rude and dismissive. I'm out $189.99 and cannot afford to purchase the strips that I need! Never, Never, shop here!!! read more

This pharmacy is not good. I would not recommend this CVS to my worst enemy. The line is always long, their system will randomly delete your prescriptions, and you will probably spend at least 3 hours a month trying to figure out why they won't fill your prescription. The sad thing is, it is NOT the staff's fault. The pharmacy is understaffed and underpaid. CVS needs to step up their game. read more

Honestly, the drive thru is closed more for us than it is open for us. When open it is impressively but its is closed more often. If it is closed one more time we are moving to another pharmacy. Don't get me wrong it's a good pharmacy but the service is the worst for the HANDICAP. read more

I live in Provo and have gone here for years. Within the last 6 months they keep shutting the drive thru window while the pharmacy is supposed to be open even though there are multiple employees inside. I always have to walk inside the store which is indeed open but usually with long lines and slow lazy service. It makes no sense to not put up a note in the drive thru to let customers know their systems are down or that they are understaffed. Just an all around careless CVS and bad experience. read more

The pharmacy takes so long to fill prescriptions. Sometimes they'll text you saying they have your prescription ready when they don't. Additionally, the line for the pharmacy, which is usually pretty long, extends into the aisles behind it. My problem is that this extends into the 'personal intimacy' section. So when you're waiting for +20 minutes, you're standing next to vibrators, butt plugs, and condoms. Moms who stand in line with their kids to get prescriptions shouldn't have to dodge questions from their kids, avert their eyes, or take vibrators from them. We all know kids are curious and especially when they're waiting forever in line, they're gonna look around and grab stuff off the shelves. Please move these items to another area of the store. The rest of the aisle on both sides is dedicated to first aid and wound care. Why not put something more related to that, rather than lube, vibrators, condoms, and butt plugs? Move the "personal intimacy" section somewhere else! read more

I don't know his name but I will be transferring my prescription to a different pharmacy because of the guy with blonde hair and glasses. Every time I get my prescription filled and he does it he makes me feel like garbage. I very nicely asked him today if he knew if they sold a medication and he very rudely said "you can look that up. I can't" and stared at me like I was an idiot until I walked away. If I treated guests I helped like that I would be fired. Fire him and I'll come back to cvs but until then I'm making it a point not to go there. read more

Pharmacy opens at 9am. I have been on hold for 45 minutes trying to get a refill. Website says the RX was filled weeks ago but I never got a message saying it was ready for pick up. I need it now but can not speak with the pharmacy. This place is always busy and understaffed. I am going to switch as soon as possible. read more

This place is the worst! I have gone here multiple times trying to get a refill on my medications just for them to be out of stock or extremely rude and unhelpful. They also say they send text reminders for when you need to refill your medication however those are few and far in between. Never had so many problems with a pharmacy before in my life. I am switching to Smith's pharmacy starting today. Do not walk. RUN away from this place!!! read more

Do to my families insurance, we get a good deal for prescriptions at CVS. Down side, the nearest one is Provo. The customer service is abysmal, they tell us our prescriptions are ready for pick up, we drive 15 min out of our way just to be told its not ready or is incomplete. They then tell us that we "didn't want a percritption" when we said nothing of the sort. Also tried to charge us double for a half full perscriptio.. Terrible, terrible service. read more

I get my prescription refills here every single month and every single month without fail they mess it up. They have stopped running my medications through my insurance. When I try to transfer which pharmacy gets my medications they won't transfer it. When I give them my CVS care card they won't run it. When I call I am on hold for 20 minutes plus. Get your prescriptions sent to Walgreens or Smith's because this CVS is truly abysmal. read more

Never tried the drive through, but every time I go inside the line is really long and the wait time for your prescription refill is even longer. I go in when they say my refill is ready for me, and I always have to wait 20-40 minutes for them to hand it to me. The employees behind the counter seem really stressed and tired all the time. There must be something weird with their management or organization process or something. It's a busy place, don't expect quick service even on a slow day. read more

Usually I have been impressed with CVS but today when I desperately needed it they had no anti chaffing cream. I had to get something that would help briefly but not it in the long run. seriously lame!! We came here to get my daughters prescription and waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes when we pulled up they had a sign posted that they said closed at 7 now. We had gotten in line at 6:50 and would have gone inside but there was no way to know that it closed earlier. My husband ran inside at 7:03 and asked if he could get the prescription and the lady was not very nice and not helpful. I mean this isn't a food restaurant people need their prescriptions! Pharmacy manager Dan Williams went above and beyond to help me find prescription lost in mail service. He spent an hour on the phone with different post offices trying to find my lost meds. This was in addition to the time spent by whole pharmacy working on this problem. He was able to tesolve the issue for me and get my prescription. Big kudos to him and the pharmacy staff!! read more

I was really excited when CVS opened here and now I regret ever filling my prescriptions here. Multiple pharmacists have been rude and judgmental towards me. Here's my last encounter with a rude young man pharmacist on New year's eve. I'm a chronic pain patient. I only get 15 narcotic pain pills a month, and they are for emergencies. I have an extremely rare condition and have had surgery for it three times already (the last one was a few months ago and it was MAJOR small bowel resection surgery) and I'm only 21. I deal with a lot of pain on a daily basis and these meds help me when its too much to handle. So I go to fill my prescription at CVS, (usually I got to Walgreens or Rite aid because they are faster and nicer than CVS but they were both out of the milligram I needed) along with an antibiotic my surgeon prescribed because I got an infection in one of my incisions. The pharmacist checks to make sure they have it, tells me he can do it, then says "Oh wait. I don't have this mg in the antibiotic you need." And begins to hand both of the scripts back to me and I tell him "I still need you to fill the pain meds." He looks at me all weird and says "Im not comfortable filling them separately" .... that's kind of weird I think to myself. I tell him "riteaid and walgreens are both out for the month. That's why I came here." He grumbles something and tells me when to pick it up. I come back and am at the register with him ringing me up and he saya "soo.... what condition are they treating with the pain pills? Cause ive never seen that high of a dose with those instructions before." Excuse me? Does it matter if you haven't see. It before! Like it's any of his business! Obviously they are treating pain, and obviously my doctor knows what the instructions are, he wrote them!! If he honestly had a question he could have called my doctor! I will never be using this pharmacy EVER again. Every time I go in there the pharmacists are rude and judgmental, I deal with enough as a pain patient without rude pharmacists giving me a hard time about my meds. Just because I'm a pain patient doesn't make me a criminal! This a long with many other rude encounters has put a bad taste in my mouth for CVS, and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about your pharmacy staff. read more

This place is great. With the ExtraCare Card you save money virtually every time. You always get coupons for specific things attached to your receipt, and every month you get a few free dollars to spend on any item. I saved $161 dollars in 2014 using my ExtraCare Card, and I plan on continuing to buy my bare necessities from this CVS. read more

This review is for a particular employee, Megan, and not this CVS as a whole. We had trouble getting my son's prescription processed partially because it was written from an out of state doctor. Megan was the only one willing to problem solve our situation, and work creatively to help us get the prescription my son needed. She greatly exceeds the quality of service I have received elsewhere. If you have troubles at this location, ask for her. She won't give you the runaround. read more

This is NOT A 24-HOUR PHARMACY, despite the many banners and signs that say so out front. Pharmacy hours are 8am-10pm. The pharmacist seemed immature on the phone. I was calling to switch from my old pharmacy for insurance reasons, and was told that CVS would be slow because their competitor "was the worst ever at answering the phone." He also asked me if I was sure I really needed the prescription that night. Overall, the exchange was somewhat unprofessional. I ended up not getting the prescription anyway, because the pharmacy isn't actually open 24 hours as advertised. I showed up late in the first place because the pharmacist had told me it would take over 4 hours to fill the prescription. When I did get the prescription, I opened it at home and discovered that it was a different brand with "SAME AS _______" written on the box. I wish the pharmacist had addressed the brand switch. read more

This store closes at 6:00pm which makes it inconvenient to begin with. However if there were negative stars I would definitely rate it minus. They bill your insurance PLUS charge you full price. We had an interaction with them that was by far the worst I've ever had with any pharmacy. The pharmacist was the biggest jerk that tried to give us very poor advice and act like he knew us best. We went down the street (after me having to be next to rude just to get our RX's back. They over charge you. When we were just about to pay that POS wannabe immature pharmacist full price plus they were billing our insurance we went a half mile away and filled the same Rx for only $5 at Walgreens. I would never ever think of filling here again and would strongly recommend nobody fill here. read more

This is easily the worst pharmacy I have been to. They have never had a prescription filled on time and tonight they said our insurance had been terminated. Shocked, we called our insurance in a panic, only to find out that our insurance was still valid. We got the prescription filled at the Walmart grocery store instead. read more

1st I would like to say I have always received excellent customer service from this particular CVS location but just recently I received the worst customer service ever. I attempted to drop of 2 scripts both controlled substances. I explained that I needed the one on top filled and the 2 nd one I needed to just drop off and return in a couples days to pick up. The pharmacy tech preceeded to tell me in a rude snotty attitude that I was NOT allowed to drop off and leave my script that couldn't be filled for 2 more days. When I explained to her very clearly that cvs has let me do this for many months and even the pharmacists asked me to just leave it I was ebruptly cut off and was told "No cvs does not allow that and they never have let customers leave scripts yo be filled at a later date. "After being yelled at so loud that the front store manager could hear the girl yelling at me I asked for my scripts back and left. After speaking to the district manger and the pharmacy manager my problem was resolved and I was apologized to. Thank you CVS for standing up and taking responsibility for your employees actions. I will continue taking my meds here to be filled. read more
