This is specific to the Pharmacy at Smiths Pharmacy in Lehi-- I recently moved so naturally, I moved my prescriptions to a closer Smiths. After 4-5 months, I realized that the Service and knowledge that Yi was accustomed to receive was not present at the local Smiths. I left a message and asked if they could move my prescriptions back. And you know, anymore we have to do follow up to make sure people follow through. To my pleasant surprise, my prescriptions already moved over! Smiths advertises digital coupons and discount prices. But, I check my receipt after each time I go and the prices are wrong on multiple items 3 out of 4 times. I always have to contact customer service and get a credit. It is nice I can get a credit, but on top of the lengthy time you have to search for relevant digital coupons, it is annoying you have to spend more time contacting customer service to fix their mistakes. Produce is often sketchy at this location too. With bad spots, rotten produce amongst the fresh, and produce that never ripens, or goes bad within a day or two of bringing it home. Items are frequently out of stock. Both sale items and regular items. Employees can rarely be found, except the ones that are shopping for customers and they don't want to answer your questions because they have to shop in a specific amount of time and get on to the next customer they are shopping for. Shelves are dirty frequently. I reported a shelf as sticky 4 weeks in a row and it never got cleaned. I gave up reporting it. But this store is better than the really overpriced one down the street and is really the only other one in the area. So I continue to go. read more

Only one thing needs to be fixed and this review goes to 5 stars. There is no cell service in the store, which forces you to rely on their WiFi. But their WiFi only connects 50% of the time. So, if I want to text my wife to ask if she needs anything, I have to leave the store. If I want to clip a digital coupon, I have to leave the store. If I want to search on the app if they have something in stock, I have to leave the store. I never have a phone that is older than a year old, and my phone never has connection issues on other networks. And before anyone says user error, I have a degree in Information Systems and studied networking. read more

Normally my experience is great in Smiths. Been shopping there for years. Had an issue at the self checkout. Said to myself "I don't need help," when the machine said, calling over for assistance. Self checkout manager, Elena, gave me major attitude. I honestly don't know why. I said it's okay I don't need help. She then said I could leave the store now and would call the police because I was trespassing. I said for what? She seemed visibly upset over something. Meanwhile the poor trainee witnessed all of this. I asked to speak with her supervisor because she was now giving major attitude. She said "I AM THE MANAGER!" Well I called BS and asked Naomi, the nearest employee that had a red vest on to help me find someone else to talk to. Naomi look pretty frightened to assist me after looking at Elena. Elena must be a tyrant or something. Anywho I spoke with someone else and just let them know now is not the time or place for attitude after a national tragedy. I also learned I wasn't the first one Elena had given major attitude to recently. Elena's like a female Napoleon on a major power trip. Sometimes you promote in hopes that people get better. I think this had the opposite effect. She's like a really mean female President Business from the LEGO movie without absolute power. Probably one of my favorite Smith's in all of Utah. It has Starbucks, Twisted Sugar (soda and cookie shop which is also amazing), clothing, home items, and is always super clean and organized. I live in very close proximity to the boujee grocery store on Traverse Mountain. However, I prefer this Smith's a million times over again! There is so many reasons I love this Smith's and find myself at it so frequently. First of all, when you get a free account with Smith's, you will start getting all kinds of savings that you didn't get before. I am pretty sure you have to have a Smith's card for all sales that they run but I could be wrong. Regardless, the savings are damn near unbeatable here. This Smith's location in particular is always very clean and they have a wonderful variety of products. They have a massive clothing section--I got a coat that was originally $100 for only $40 while I was here. They have a starbucks with a limited amount of seating. They have a full service deli and meat counter. They have a floral area and they have a huge variety of home goods and decor. I received flowers for a wonderful deal and they lasted quite a while. Things are always pretty easy to find in this store and I love that they still have the carts that I like. I recently discovered "Kroger Pay" and I am obsessed. If you don't use the Smith's app, you are missing out already but the Kroger Pay is also a whole new world. I forgot my wallet and needed to use it. I set up my card but still wasn't completely sure how it worked. I told the cashier I had Kroger Pay and she scanned it before scanning my items. Once she scanned my last item, she said, "have a good day". I was taken back. How futuristic is that. I hope I can explain this if I all the sudden have a misdemeanor for theft (joke). No...but it really felt like theft. There was no swiping anything or doing anything. Once the last item was scanned, I was good to go. Amazing! Another nearby Smith's has some super rude people working in it but I have honestly not had the same experience at this location. Everyone has always been really nice to me. The boujee grocery store on Traverse Mountain has insultingly high prices. When I was there the other day, they were selling Campbell's soup for over $2 and I have seen fruit cups for $20+. While I am fully understanding of inflation and how it has affected our food, I appreciate Smith's giving us great deals and not being super greedy with the current state of the economy. I also have just never had a bad experience with the employees here. They are always so kind and helpful. Whether it be a cashier or one of the people doing the order pickups, they always leave a lasting impression on me because of how nice they are. I will be coming to this Smith's for as long as I live in the area. read more

I just purchased 3 lbs of cooked shrimp that was on sale for 5.99 a lb. I went and paid for it and the Price was 8.99a pound. I didn't notice it until after I paid so I had to go to the customer service desk to get my refund. I told the lady with purple hair about it and she didn't seem very concerned about having it fix so other customers would get robed too. So I went to the store Manager , told him and reply shocked me! He said " we know about it and the sale really starts next week. We told upper management and they said they weren't going to fix it on the computer until next week when the sale starts. " I told him if you don't let people know they are paying the regular price thinking it when through at the sale s price. You're stealing from your customers same as if I walked out without paying for it. He still just said I 'm sorry and I let the cashiers know about it . Oh man, I hadn't been here in forever. That was a whole different chapter back then during the original review, but I feel it's important to update with this important piece of information: almost nothing has changed. I think that's the real point: Smith's Marketplace is pretty constant. In some ways I wish it would feel different every time. My former grocery store of choice for 10 years recently re-did all of their aisles, and the layout is all confusing and new, and I'm not sure I like that either. But this place is steady, Eddie. If you're unfamiliar, a Smith's Marketplace is a big ol' store that not only sells groceries (and a ton of them, at that) but also has a whole department store thing going on. Way back when I bought a pack of socks from them, for example, and I just threw away the first pair from that pack a month ago. Holes, you know. Bakery, deli, canned goods, produce, yaa... you know the drill. It's all decent stuff and decently priced. Their card-scanning data-harvesting scheme is annoying (just label it with the price and don't make me scan something or enter an alternate ID, mmmkay?) but that's the world we live in. read more

That employee rolled her eyes and said very irritated, "NO!"' Why is that such a crazy question? It's nestled in the middle of affluent Lehi and Highland. If you need food, don't count on the pickup to help you out. We waited over an hour to get our food brought out to us. Cars came after us and left before us. We called and they told us that others probably checked in before.. but after waiting an hour we would have been in the queue. Don't use the pickup. It's a joke. If I could give it zero stars I would. This store was my go to grocery and goodies store for about a year until recently. The floor staff was always nice and helpful. However it has become obvious that the management does care for my safety or the safety if their staff. There is no enforcement of the state wide mask mandate. There were at least half a dozen people with no masks and also a hand full of staff members not wearing their mask properly. I arrived at 10:55pm on 4/1. It was 5 minutes before they close at 11pm. I watched 2 people go in right before me (not even 30 seconds before me) and when I approached the front door, the bigger kid working wearing a hat told me they had just closed. I brushed it off and headed back to my car. I didn't think anything of it until the kid let another guy who had pulled into the lot AFTER me right in. I am a person of color and all the other people he let in were white. I don't want to assume that racism was the reason behind this, but that kid letting in several people right before me and after turning me away did not sit well with me. Just used Smith's online shopping and pick up. It was great! I love how I was able to modify my order up until midnight the day before I picked up my order. I was able to allow for substitutions of items they were out of or not allow for substitutions. You could also leave a note for the shopper if you wanted a half pound of something or say green bananas. When you go to pick up your groceries during your assigned time, you pull in the pick up area, call the number on the stalls sign and let them know you're outside. The associate came out with my groceries right to my car. They gave me my receipt as well. I will definitely be using Smith's online grocery shopping again. read more

In and around Lehi, smiths marketplace was the big player until recently harmons entered the fray. Smith's marketplace like super target , super walmart etc is big and sells everything from bikes to baby food to produce to cosmetics to electronics. You would for sure find everything that one might use extensively or on a daily or frequent basis without specializing in any particular segment. Looking at the product segment and the way they are categorized and sold , it seems like they are placing themselves as a good alternate to walmart and positioning themselves probably between a walmart and super target for they dont appear a direct competitor but more a refreshing alternative. Upon entering one does not find it crowded in terms of how products are displayed like a walmart and instead looks more refined like a target but product category more like a walmart. This is a solid grocery store and one will most likely find everything here without being outstanding in that you are most likely to find these products elsewhere as well but for those who work in companies alongside SR-92, this is a quick stop shop should you need something urgent and quickly and was only nearby grocery store in this neck of the woods as mentioned above until now the customer base is likely to be split with those in traverse mountain, and working in companies there more likely to go to harmons than visit smith's but still smiths is more cost effective for those who want to burn a smaller hole from their wallets :). They have a good customer base nonetheless and are a solid grocery store without having a unique or stand out feature unlike say a food buffet section at the harmons nearby. read more

I went to smiths tonight and had a definitely interesting experience. I shopped only for about 20 minutes then decided to go to the self check out and asked the employee if they had tap pay (which they didn't). I asked the employee if they wanted me to put back the items or have me put it back, they offered to put it back. My friend was in the bathroom and I went to go tell her they didn't have tap pay so we couldn't get the items we wanted. We left the bathroom about five minutes later of finishing business. We walked out and to our surprise we were confronted by 3 male workers who were insinuating me of stealing the vitamin water I had in my hand. I proceeded to tell them I bought the vitamin water at a gas station and brought it in with me . He replied in a passive tone "well didn't you walk in the bathroom with a belt." I pulled out my lululemon never lost key chain kind of looks like a seatbelt. He then made a snarky comment about my friend rolling her eyes. i completely understand having no merchandise in the bathroom but being outrageously judged because of appearance and age is not ok. Kenny, Jake and Ian from the home section Do better, if you suspect someone of stealing check the cameras for proof and then report it that's retail etiquette! Literally had the worse experience with there checklist. Which is there order online and pick up. I wanted to try it out for a lot of reasons. They have been heavily promoting it, I'm 37 weeks pregnant with a toddler and honestly didn't feel like fighting the crowds on a Saturday alone pregnant and with a toddler. So I thought why not. Now I know why not! Hahaha I literally was so disappointed from the start with the items they try to substitute you with. I order turkey burgers well since they didn't have any they didn't have a sub for them either so I just went without. Then I also order whole Wheat buns... they subbed with white. We don't eat white bread for many different reasons. Just a funny sub for something that's opposite. So I had to stop at Harmon's on the way home and pick some stuff up that they couldn't provide. So really I should have just went shopping myself. The worse part is I get home to find bloody ground beef in the same bag as my fresh berries... now I'm sitting here not sure if they are editable because of cross contamination. Something that was suppose to be convenient turned into a nightmare and waste of time. I will never do checklist again. read more

I go to Smith's all the time but still have the hardest time finding certain things in the middle aisles. Maybe that's just me though. But overall it does a good job of being the go-to local grocery store. I do really like the Clicklist grocery pick up. It tracks all the things you buy so you can order them again. I was shopping a guest's Instacart order from this smiths; they requested 4 gallons of distilled water. While shopping there was no sign saying guest could only purchase 2 gallons per person. I didn't find this out until Cashier Amanda was being rude about it and would give me attitude about having 4 gallons. This guest ordered through the smiths website. What do I love about Smiths? They're close to my home, convenient, and the service is friendly. Also, their sales are outstanding. What don't I love? If an item is not on sale, it is almost always priced substantially higher than the competition. When this Smiths first opened, I was impressed by the great variety of fruits and vegetables available. Sadly, that only lasted for a short time. Now its just the typical stuff. And, if they do have any of the less typical items, they're expensive. For example, a few days ago I wanted some BABY bok choy. At Smith's it was $4.99 per pound. At another store I frequent the same item is always available and consistently $1.49 per pound (which is Smith's price for regular bok choy). Another example, Gouda cheese at Smith's, $9.99 per pound. I usually pay about $4 per pound elsewhere (and no, that's not a sale price). I go to Smiths when I just need a quick item. I wish I could shop there regularly because their location is so convenient, but I can't justify paying that much more for my groceries. read more

They reorganized the store a while back and it makes no sense now. It saves time to drive farther to get to the cedar hills Walmart. It's a mess. Best service I have ever recever at any smith's! Went this morning to bick up some Haigh quality seafood for a boil. As soon as I waked in a big hello and how are you frome the produce department supervisor, who pointed me to where I would find the seasoning that I was looking for, so no reason to walk around for endless amount of time looking for one item. The sea food department supervisor should have been a noyes with me for how much of her time I took up, but was cheerfully friendly, and willing to shoot the shit with me, and in my mind that's a big plus! Bicker up some amazing crab legs, an amazing lobster tail, some great shrimp, a pound of clams fresh not dead (not an easy find in utah) and crawdads( very suprised thay had some in stalk). Say the least an amazing meal with plenty left over for later. May have to put it in an Alfredo! So all and all out standing quality seafood, enough spice to make me sweat, and an ice cold beer to wash it all down. Priceie but worth every dime? read more

Smith's/Kroger apparently uses an outside delivery to homes who they deny any responsibility for. Those stuck at home due to COVID like me get things in deliveries (and PAY FOR THEM) that they didn't want, can't consume and told the shopper so when texting. Dumb shopper did it anyway. Store manager offers refund if I bring it in, but I can't go out now or for months which is WHY I HAVE IT DELIVERED and she offers no solution. Instacart says they have no responsibility either as Smith's/Kroger get paid for the groceries. Doesn't Smith's website claim they will make any problem right for their customer?? Oh my good golly goshkins, this place is unreal. Huge, gigantic, one of the largest places of this type I've been to and it has the gas pumps as well. I would daresay it's nearly too big, as it takes a good amount of time to traverse the store. On the plus, though, a good solid as far as selection, so it works out. This is almost worth the trip to Lehi and bothering with Timp Highway...almost. I happened to be in the area or would not have come here, but truth be told, I was thrilled beyond measure with what I found.
