There are not enough people at the register. I do not want to use a machine to check out. Cvs does not pay me to do my own checkout! Cvs get a clue stop being cheap and have a bigger staff. You will lose business this way. read more

The lines in this place are just entirely too long, and usually at LEAST one of the three self checkouts are down. Everyone here moves at a glacial pace. There's usually stock in boxes all in the aisles, and I'm pretty shocked if I find what I need in stock at all. I positively DREAD having to go here, and will actively avoid at any cost if possible. Sometimes it is just unavoidable though, like at 11 P.M. and you just NEED that Benadryl to get to sleep. The only save is for one girl, maybe two, that work there and I am pretty friendly with. They are sweet and are cool to talk to and pass the time while you are waiting in line for a half hour. read more

I stopped in on a Saturday around 4pm. This CVS was dirty, unorganized and seemed to be out of a lot of products. The employees didn't seem present. I barely saw any of them in the store. You seemed to be forced to use the self check out (which I'm not against) since they lacked staff. Something I didn't like, was that I had a hard time finding the items I needed. Products were placed in the incorrect place, therefore having the wrong prices associated with them. I had to use the scanner located in the front to check the prices on all of the items I wanted to purchase. This store is in need of a visit from their corporate office. read more

My mom got a prescription for medicine from her urgent care in Glen Oaks. Line was extremely long and when it was my mom's turn, after the cashier scanned her card she said she had to wait because her prescription was not ready yet. The lines in this place!!! Uggh! This is the worst PHARMACY is the WORST..they couldn't read my doctor's hand writing on the prescription so they told me they would follow up witht he doctor early the next day...however @ 3PM the following day still no update or call to the doctor. Luckily Im not dying, but if I were..this CVS pharmacy would have done NOTHING to assist me!! SMDH!!! I swear its like they are consciously choosing not to serve customers! read more

I give this CVS 3 stars because it is conveniently close to my house and they do carry a lot of things that I randomly need. It's also 24 hours ! The major issue that I have that I know everyone else has is the lack of registers. Yes they do have the self registers but you see a lot of the older generation doesn't quite understand how to use them and they hold up the line. Another thing is sometimes they freeze and you have to wait for a worker to come up and help you re-ring your stuff. It can get hectic in there but for the most part they have the stuff I need. I have been a customer at this CVS since I was a kid. It has always been the go to place in the neighborhood for my family and I when ever we needed prescriptions filled or even if we just need to grab milk. Over the years this CVS has upgraded in so many ways. The best thing is that it is 24 hours all year round even on Christmas day they were opened. The pharmacy of itself is not 24 hours they open until about 10 or 11 PM which is still very good compared t many others. There is always a lot of people in the store so there is always a line but they recently added self check out machines which makes it go quicker and if you're in a huge rush the pharmacy counter is more than happy to check customers out as well. There is a wide variety of items here from make up, shampoo, lotion, over the counter medixations, seasonal items, fresh flowers, eggs, milk, various groceries, laundry detergent and cleaning products, hallmark cards, helium balloons ,full service photo and passport picture development; this location is a one stop grab it all store. There is an abundance of parking and this store is located in a prime safe neighborhood. I go here at all hours and feel very safe. The staff is generally helpful if needed and the store is clean and organized very well so finding things are easy. If you call before hand they will also answer your questions. I definitely recommend this CVS for anyone looking for convenience. read more

Absolutely the worst .. They have caused medication errors at least three times in my recent memory for my families prescription.

The worst CVS in NYC! The customer service sucks! From the front door greeter to the back in the pharmacy! All the staff have attitudes and turn up their face when you ask them for help! Oh am I interrupting you from stocking the same shelf you have been working on for three days!! Anyway, instead of helping customers to check out faster and go on the register, they encourage you to use those machines that don't even work half the time or only excepts certain payments! God forbid they actually have to do the register and cash u out manually.... that would be too much work huh???!!! Anyway this place sucks! I'm giving this CVS 4 out of 5 stars only due to a manager by the name of Michael. Michael has helped me a lot finding items that were not on shelves. He took the time to go to the back to find the items. You normally do not get this response from other managers here nor other CVS stores that I have been to. I do find the Pharmacy staff friendly. The bad thing about this place is that they are not quick with refilling shelves. read more

Items fly off the shelf on the first day of any sale in this place. That's to be expected, so I'm actually OKAY with that. The lines are consistently long, and self-checkout isn't for everyone. I'm OKAY with that too. The problem I have is how freaking RUDE the majority of the cashiers are. They just stand around talking to each other in a group behind the counter, while some people struggle with the self checkout machines (Parbattie, I'm looking at you!). Why the heck are these buffoons even getting paid for?? Seriously, I don't even get the point of the cashiers being there if they refuse to help people, then get a stink attitude when someone asks for help. The stock people are really cool though, and SOME of the cashiers are nice (don't even see them around anymore though), but the majority of the workers there are EXTREMELY RUDE - including management! On more than one occasion I have experienced this. I don't even care if I have to take a trip to another CVS that is farther away. This place is a block away from my house, but believe me, I'd do ANYTHING to not have to step into this godforsaken place. read more

This location is definitely one of the worst CVS I've been to. The shelves always seem to be out of stock on day one of a sale. The store is generally messy and staff nonexistent. The pharmacy line is always so long and the wait time is just unacceptable. Forget about calling the pharmacy line. No one ever answers. this cvs must be the busiest one I've come across. regardless of the chaos at peak hours they try their best to accommodate everyone in need. they have a new manager now who has cleaned up quite a bit and also new employees who seem to rly care about what they are doing. great parking lot and also greg the night manager is rly helpful. Yelp needs a no stars option. This is the worst CVS ever. They used to have cashiers and customers. I went in the night before Easter at 1:30 in the morning to get Easter stuff. I had worked all day and was extremely tired. I had gift cards and various items. I was not interested in working at CVS, I had worked all day but as always they had no cashier. I asked the employee that they pay to work there to ring up my items. He said that I could use the self service. I told him I was tired and had worked all day could he ring it up, he said no. The manager was sitting on the side also doing nothing. I was annoyed but I started ringing up the items because I needed them for Easter, otherwise I would have put them down and walked out. The gift cards weren't registering in the bag area. I called the guy over and he cleared me. Same thing happened second gift card. I said can you please just ring this stuff up, I'm tired and worked all day and I don't want to deal with calling you over every time something goes wrong. He then started scanning the items and handing them to me angrily. He was actually sucking his teeth. Why does a company that makes millions a year pay its employees to point to a machine instead of actually having them work? They're paying him literally to do nothing. Why are customers doing the work? I go to the CVS on Jericho Tpke now, they always have cashiers. I also opt for Rite Aide instead when it's available. I don't get paid by CVS to ring up my own items especially at 1:30 in the morning. This store has just completely gone downhill in the last two and a half years. Self service should not mean no service! It should be an option for people who have one or two items and are in a rush. I will go out of my way to avoid giving business to this location. read more
