This is a 24 hour CVS pharmacy. Pharmacist Jenni answered all the questions I posed about blood pressure cuffs. I was looking for one with a USB port (the Withings brand) so I can charge it in the car, and she said that the store does not sell that type of cuff. They only sell Omron, which uses Bluetooth. I bought some daily essentials, and I noted that a lot of them were locked up in glass shelves as they are in virtually all CVS pharmacies that I have patronized. Customers have to ring a bell so a store employee could come and unlock the items --like toothpaste, razors and mouthwash. Cashier Sorna rang up my order, encouraging me to take advantage of a digital coupon that I downloaded from the app. She explained that if I buy $2 more dollars worth of items, I will get $2 off my entire order. Either the phone system doesnt work or they are just hanging up on people. Been trying to call to get the status on a prescription for two days. Have tried all the options on the menu to get to speak to someone. Have tried checking the prescription number and the system cant find it. Have tried other sections in the menu to try to get to talk to someone in case it was just the "speak to a pharmacist" option that wasnt working and nothing will let you speak to someone. Have called probably 20 times in the past two days by now at all times of the day in case they have just been busy and it has never connected me to any. -- Went in today since I still couldnt reach anyone through the phone. They didnt have the prescription even though I received a message saying it was ready. Said it was ready on the website also. They actually dont even carry it at that cvs at all. read more

STORE: I have been coming to this CVS for years and it seems to get worse day by day. Before the pharmacy was the only problem but as of late, the store itself is not that great either. The aisles are often disorganized and items seem to rarely be stocked. I get that it is a busy store but would assume they would keep replenishing stock. Before you could come to the CVS and get what you needed but these days the self checkout kiosks are out of service, the items are out of stock, and there's rarely anyone on the floor to help you. PHARMACY: The pharmacy is and always has been terrible. They are disorganized and it takes them 5 minutes each time to find your prescription. You look over the counter and you will see prescription bags all over the place (including the floor). I understand it is a busy pharmacy but organizing would help them better manage. Even when the pharmacy line is empty, the technicians do not come over immediately to help you. CALLING THE PHARMACY: As for calling the pharmacy -- it's a waste of time. I have been to this pharmacy at all times of the day and once I was there at 6am when it was empty and they had a call and the girl still did not pick up. I was waiting in line (no one else in line but she did not come to help me for a few minutes) and the whole time the phone was ringing - when she came to me, I told her she could get the phone as the ringing would drive anyone crazy and I kid you not she responded that it's fine cause eventually they (the caller) cut the call (hangs up) anyways. Yesterday, I called because it was an emergency related to a medication needed immediately and they kept me on hold- never picking up- and then cut the call. read more

This continues to be the worst CVS ever. I am only giving 2 stars because it is a CVS that sits in a busy neighborhood and serves the purpose for the people that live here, there simply is not another choice, and it's 24 hours. If you want to see trash in the parking lot and trash on the floors,Maybe this is the place to come. The pharmacy is at times overwhelmed with customers, who must be there only because it's convenient. There is no other reason to come here. Most of the employees are very helpful if you happen to find one. Yes, the employee ratio here is a slim one and finding a manager on duty is difficult also. The manager here has some how found a way to do his job without being in the store. In CVS employee terms this is called a "ghost manager". This is the nickname that CVS employees gives managers that are not in the store and do nothing. You can also have a manager called the "ghost pointer". These are managers that point out things to do before they leave the store. So if you in a store where the employees look over whelmed, it's probably because management is non-existent. Don't hate on the employees, they are doing their best without much direction. This neighborhood needs a better CVS with management that does more than collect a paycheck. read more

Not really a friendly CVS location. The staff here doesn't acknowledge you whatsoever. You have some staff that actually walk away before you ask them a question and also you have some in the corners acting as if they're stocking something so that they can appear busy and not be bothered. What a shame right? The Pharmacy- I love the fact that it's open 24 hours HOWEVER, the staff here always seems too busy to answer any questions you have about your medication. It seems as if your concerns do not matter. They expect you to know everything just because they know everything about the medications. I only go here if I have to. read more

Horrible service. Called the pharmacy and was on hold for 25 mins and then someone just disconnected me. I called back and was on hold for 45 mins before I hung and called the manager. The manager assured me that he would speak to the pharmacy manager and he would call me right back. That was on Tuesday afternoon....It's 11:38am on Wednesday..I'm still waiting. I will go to the store today and straighten out everything but it is totally unacceptable. They have no respect for the customer.. they are understaffed as they have always been and thank G-d for the self service when they are working. read more

NEVER AGAIN! Came here last week to pharmacy section. Knew it was going to be bad when I saw about 15 people on line. After 35 to 40 mins on the line, the lady informs me that I'm on the wrong line and I need to be to the right of her since its my 1st time at store. no problem, right? Fastforward 15 mins later, I had a weird exchange with young lady behind counter. I present insurance card. She's quizzing me on who I'm getting the meds for, which I thought was odd. I told her its for my son. For 8 mins or so, she's fidgeting and seems stuck. She yells to the pharmacist, "do you know the code for son. Such and such code is not working". The pharmacist gives her 2 options to try. None work and she hands me back my card and says, "Sorry sir, but your card is invalid." I thought about telling her, is my card invalid or are you having trouble entering info because you just broadcasted you don't know the code to proceed to next screen. I just politely told her, please forward my script to Rite Aide. Rite Aide staff was in hysterics when I told them my story. They said, "You're not the only one". Many people run to the hills and come there to escape. 1 hour wasted----ended up paying out of coverage cost for meds. MEMO TO MANAGEMENT: Something is terribly wrong here. The store is in disarray. Browsing thru all these 1 and 2 stars, theres no way you can think you're doing a good job in running a store with all this criticism in here. Going to a pharmacy or buying some late night snacks should never feel like a prison lock-down adventure. At least hire strippers for entertainment or something. read more

Terrible service, gave me the wrong meds for my dad twice. Atiq who I believe is the store manager is very rude and refuses to help anyone. Pharmacy section has no idea what they're doing. Everyone in my family is a pharmacist and some even work for other CVS's but find it absolutely absurd when I tell them about the shitty customer service at this pharmacy. If you call the pharmacy no one ever picks up. The customer service here is so bad that it becomes borderline humorous. This is my local CVS. The staff here sucks. There was only one young gentleman with glasses who was extremely friendly and helpful. Other than that, every one looks and acts like they hate their job. There's always a long line with no workers. CVS, hire more people man. I really don't like coming here, I'll only come here by force. They don't have a good variety of things and every thing in there is super messy. In addition, workers are always packing shelves during store hours. It's so inconvenient. Worst CVS on the planet! The employees evade and ignore you. If you can't find the item you're looking for or have a question, best to ask a fellow customer. The shelves are poorly stocked and disorganized. It is not unusual to find cases of merchandise left on the floor for customers to discover like Columbus. The pharmacy is the worst part about this place. If you drop off a prescription and decide to wait for it - pack a meal and a change of clothes. Upon receiving your filled prescription, ASK NO QUESTIONS. The pharmacist becomes irritated because you had the audacity to ask a question. I called this location today to confirm if there photo camera was working since it was out of service on Sunday. The lady that answer the phone said that it was working. I get there only to be told that someone stole the camera. Had she told me that the camera was stolen I would not had come out with the way the roads are after this last dumping of snow. When she was question about this she wanted to get smart.i asked her if she tell me if there was another cvs near by and I was told by her that there was one on union turnpike and Springfield. This CVS has so many items, I usually come here before I leave to go back to Brooklyn, this is the spot to go to if I need to get something. I've seen new people working there, but that's ok. The most important thing is that this store keeps a variety of items. Just bought a few things last week, I have to learn to save my money,lol. I usually come here because it's not too far from where I'm staying. I buy stuff here and there sometimes if it's on sale or if I like the product.. Also store has so many selections of cards, bought a bday card for my friend from this store, and she liked it. The staff seem to get along which is important, and they try to make it a team effort to help satisfy others too. I usually come here during the night time or sometimes evening before I catch the bus. Trust me I need to grab a snack, bag of chips or buy something before having to travel 2 and half hrs. read more

Definitely don't come here for any photo needs. The same woman messed up my photo order not once but TWICE on different occasions. The second time definitely took the cake. Why she's still working there, I have no idea. I went to pick up a Father's Day photo and with the first order, she gave me my folder with my info but someone else's photo! When I asked what happened to the photo of my children and "does that mean a stranger has photos of my kids?", all she said was "I don't know". How do you not know?! How are you giving people the incorrect photo! Then she tries to correct the situation and tries to give me a photo of an Indian elephant saying it's mine. No it's not. Finally 30 minutes later, she "finds" my print and reprints it (I had reordered it) and then someone else tells her not to charge me for it. I tell them, the photo was free due to a promo but she insists on disregarding her coworker and makes me wait another 10 minutes to "refund" my already free photo. Really unprofessional and irresponsible. I dislike situations like this but it's not the first time. Definitely avoid. read more

The pharmacy tech (Curly hair and glasses)needs customer service classes. He wasn't listening to me at all. It seems like he didn't want to help me with my situation and then when he understood what I was trying to say he didn't even acknowledge that he had misunderstood me. and in doing so, I did not feel like a valued customer anymore. I speak English very well and I just didn't get why he couldn't get it. He assumed I was the patient, but it was for my child. I've been coming to this CVS for many years and It seems to be getting worse and worse. I think I'll try my luck with the Rite Aide on Northern Blvd or go to the Rite Aide on Union Turnpike and Parsons. This CVS has lost me as a customer. read more

I don't understand all the horrible reviews on this store. I think the pharmacy staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive towards the customers, although they do tend to be a bit rushful at times. Their telephone prescription reorder service is very efficient. They'll even phone and/or mail you a reminder to refill a medication in case you forget. Automatic refill is also an option. My main complaint about this store is that the pharmacy employees aren't as organized with their prescription pick ups as they should be, and there have been times where I've had to wait 10 or 15 minutes for them to locate my medication (this is AFTER I've waited in line) that I filled the same day. Despite that, the staff is professional and won't put a customer off who may have an issue with them locating their prescription. Another complaint is the store is a little messy, but staff is always available to answer any questions that a customer might have while shopping on the floor aisles. The cashiers are also very friendly. Overall, not the greatest shopping experience ever, but still very satisfactory in my opinion. read more

Can I give 1/4 of a star? This is a disgraceful and disgusting place to pick up medicine. I would rather die of my illness than to go back there. I joined yelp just to trash them. First off, I went to the pharmacy last night and the girl at the counter spent 10 minutes registering me then tells me my prescription isnt there. I call both my doctor and the pharmacy the next day and they confirm the prescription was in fact sent yesterday. I return to the pharmacy the next day after travelling 1 1/2 hours from work via train (for which I was standing for 45 mins). I had to stand in line for literally 25 minutes with 18 restless people waiting in front of me (I counted) before I got up to the counter. This time its a different girl but she also says my prescription isnt there and I tell her thats bullshit coz I even called this same pharmacy before Ieft work and they confirmed receiving it. She doesn't even apologize but gives me some bullshit excuse about my insurance card not working and then referred me to the pharmacist. The pharmacist takes my insurance card and it's typing away on her computer for about 10 minutes without telling me what's going on. She then tells me that even though her system is showing two separate medications it is printed as two doses of only one. She says I should tell my doctor to send one again separately and then I would have to wait one hour for the other one. I just walked the fuck out. This is ridiculous that I come here two nights in a row and don't get any medication and that they actually expected me to wait an hour and a half to get only 1/2 of my prescription. These people need a fucking two week seminar in customer service. Either that or CVS is not paying them enough either way FUCK CVS!!!! Walgreens all the way read more
