Benefit of the doubt...the staff until recently has been remarkably rude and unprofessional. Once I stood at the counter while the pharmacists daughter delivered a sub sandwich which she began eating as she filled prescriptions and rummaged through the bags awating pickup, sub in one hand, bags in the other. Two weeks ago there was a change in staff and it's been a bit different. Hopefully there is a changing of the guard. read more

I like this location. I noticed that they had a pretty good selection of make up when I went inside to pick up a prescription. The only issue I had was the long line in the drive-through, which subsequently caused me have to walk inside of the store, but the staff at the pharmacy was friendly and I appreciated their help. read more

As I waited,the pharmacist, Shakina, was yelling at several customers and putting their personal medical info out there, heard of hypa?!?! was turned away because i was 10 minutes early and she said she was too busy filling orders for hospitals and had no time for inside customers. I made an appointment to get a covid test at 10:20 today, they say to arrive 15 minutes early so I am in line at 10:05. There are already 6 cars in front of me. By time i was supposed to have my appointment the line still hadn't moved. I'm not sure what the hold up was but I left. I was under the impression it was a nasal swab and then you leave? All information is filled out online so there shouldn't be anything to do except get swabbed and leave. And if it's prescriptions those don't take much time at all. The pharmacy closes at 9:00pm, not 10:00pm like they have listed online. I needed my prescription right away, and had to wait till the next to get it because I didgeridoo there till 9:15. The worst ever CVS pharmacy! I thought the one on Gibsonton was bad but this one takes the cake. I dealt with the pharmacy manager personally and had to record the conversation because of how disrespectful she was being to me. Yesterday I went to pick up my prescription and a man told me it was sent to the other location. Went to the other location and they didn't have it either! I called my doctor this morning, and they said it was sent and received by the Mcmullen location! They said they would resend it however for extra assurance. I called the pharmacy to ensure they received it and that I would have no issue getting that order today and I was reassured that they have it and there would be no issues! So I go to pick it up today and once again they tell me they don't have it!! When I explain to the pharmacist that this happened to me yesterday, the pharmacy manager told her to go deal with the drive through orders and sent me to the drop off window where i waited for her help. She checks and tells me they don't have it and won't have it until Thursday or Friday. I've already been without this prescription for a few days now so I would end up being without it a week! I tried asking her why was I told this morning they would have it and there would be no issues, and all she could tell me was "I am the manager and we don't have it" she then asked if I wanted to wait until Thursday or Friday and I said "No There's gotta be another option to get this sooner" and she walked off saying something under her breath. Within that 15 minutes a man who knew her was leaving and while walking out said "don't let them stress you!" Obviously referring to me who was distressed at this point, and she replied back with "Oh trust me...I won't!" I can't explain this tone but it was very smart aleck. I waited at the drop off window for 15 minutes for her to come back and help me figure out another way, until someone came up behind me and she told me to move over! I was so confused and asked if I was not being helped anymore. She said "I canceled your order because you said you didn't want to wait" she literally had stormed off away from me and didn't tell me she was cancelling anything! Yet she saw me waiting there for 15 minutes after she had cancelled it and didn't ask me if there was anything else I needed. Just let me stand there. The worst manager I've ever experienced and I now know why this pharmacy runs the way it does. I was so disturbed by this encounter and them not helping me come to a resolution. What kind of pharmacist goes out of their way to ensure a patient doesn't get their medication. That'a how it felt the entire time and especially when she just canceled my prescription. read more

Made an appt to take a Covid test 2 weeks before the appt date, the day of the appt we arrive and the Pharmacist tells me that the employee that takes care of the test, did not come in and we would have to go elsewhere. I went into the store and spoke with the Pharmacist, named Katerina - what can I say, but no emotion and lack of empathy towards my situation. Katerina was very unprofessional and was not willing to assist me with the situation. I explained to Katerina that I had made the appt 2 weeks prior to make sure my test is done in time for travel requirements, she looked at me, shrugged her shoulders, rolled her eyes and said "The employee handling the tests did not come to work today, nothing we can do". I asked if anyone else can input the info into the computer, as the test is a self taken test, no one needs to swab me - she looked at me, rolled her eyes and with her Russian accent, said "Nope, and I am not calling anyone either". The worst experience I have had at a CVS, wonder how someone so incompetent can be working a pharmacist position - per the Assistant Manager, the Pharmacy is separate from the store and she even found it odd that the Pharmacist did not want to assist, as the Pharmacists at other locations are the one's that do the test and give vaccines. Stay away from this CVS, best thing that could happen is they close this location and heartless employees such as Katerina are let go. read more

WHAT A BUNCH OF DUMMIES THAT WORK IN THE PHARMACY HERE!!!. There are only about 2 people worthy of speaking to. Every encounter I have had in the pharmacy has been the worst in the history of time and I've only been here less than a month. This location is extremely busy no matter what time you go there so I patiently wait to be serviced clearly they are overwhelmed. There is a tall guy with a Jamaican accent that works the evening shift who is as dumb as a bag of rocks. No matter what you ask this idiot he can't give you a legitimate answer. They rush you when you have a question about your prescription You will die first before you are properly serviced. To think I switched to this pharmacy because of it's location. I think I'm going to transfer out again due to the stupidity that is displayed here. Management needs to review this place before there is a lawsuit and before somebody dies from the lack of concern and professionalism. read more

Went to the mens bath room and there was no soap in either of the soap dispensers. I went up front and told the cashier Cynthia and she responded " yeah the mens bathroom doesn't have any" and then walked away. Don't you think you should do something about it?!? read more

Pharmacy is obviously understaffed. Although I feel for them, that is no excuse for how I was treated. Rude, disrespectful staff that simply does not care about customer service. They also lied to me about transferring to a different CVS. I called and spoke with the district manager and nothing has changed. Drive to a different location. It's one star because I had to give one star in order to make a review But Sheikina Palmore ( Pharmacy Manager/ Pharmacist) license number PS44240 should be fired immediately after what happened today. She cursed me out and threatened to fight me because she didn't feel like doing her job. I visited this pharmacy today in hopes to get a print of a prescription i had filed at a CVS pharmacy in VA. Sheikina said that she couldn't do it because it was at a pharmacy out of state. She didn't even look up from what she was doing, ask for my name, DOB or nothing. I called CVS in VA asking can they fax over my prescription; they told me no because it was no way over the phone they can verify it's me but that i could visit a CVS near me and they can do it. I then went to the CVS on Gibsonton Dr and they printed it out for me with no problem so i went back to the Mc Mullen CVS to let Sheikina know that the other pharmacy provided a print out with no problem. Sheikina says "good for them and can you move im doing something" and when i proceed to tell her about herself .. she aggressively put the things away she was working on to fight me. I felt threat and scare for my life... police were called because we were seconds from physical fighting. I called and reported this incident to corporate. My number was S-6139144 and I'm waiting on Tarek Fawaz to return my call to report to him as well. This was extremely terrifying and I would not be back. read more

Do not send your prescriptions here. I have always used CVS and found other stores to be helpful, great customer service and easy to use. Each time I've tried to get a prescription at this location there is an issue. They can't find it in their system (once made me call my doctor, the CVS in Ohio and go to the store several trips only for the CVS in Ohio to tell me to have them call and they would explain to the staff here how to fulfill it easily and then the staff person here said she was too busy to call and find out how to use her own computer). If they don't have a prescription in stock they will not assist you in finding it (told me to call all the other CVS stores to find it instead of just looking in their computer this has happened to me twice, the third time they told me this for separate prescriptions I went back and asked them to look for it and it took him 10 seconds to find it at another cvs vs me calling all the locations randomly). They will not let you ask the pharmacist a question about your prescription (I have had a question twice separate times about my kid's prescription for a sinus infection med and for eye drops that were new and they dismissed me and said the pharmacist was on the phone to call my doctor). I have very easy prescription insurance with preferred CVS, but I am switching bc there is always a problem and they are extremely rude. The wait is also always outrageous and when you get to the window you will be received with an instant attitude, no matter how kind and understanding I've been with them. It is not one employee, they are all annoyed to have to get your prescription. read more

We have to use CVS pharmacy due to our insurance. With that said, we use this location frequently. The store staff is great however, the pharmacy is in complete contrast. Terrible and rude. Heidi in particular always seems to have an attitude, and refuses to go in detail with any questions. Now, this is not just a one time deal but many times over the past year. Our family has voiced our problems to the pharmacist to no avail. Unless you want to leave angry, I would not recommend this location whatsoever. Heidi, if you don't like your job quit or please get customer satisfaction training from your higher ups. read more
