I completely forgot that they have a shorter working day on Saturday. They called me back, reassuring us that they would stay open and wait for us to pick up my husband's prescription. A very nice young lady that always helps me (I am so sorry, cannot remember her name right now), stayed open and waited for us for about 30 minutes pass their closing time. How refreshing that you can actually call with a request, speak with well educated, attentive people, and then they follow up. This is the way to run a personal service business. I went to CVS through the drive through arrived 10 min before closing to pick up a needed prescription. Went through drive through as I was not feeling well. There were 2 cars in front, 1 of them currently being serviced. Not sure what their transaction was but it took a fairly long time and at this point it hits closing time. The tech proceeded to close the window on both me and the car in front of me. Leaving both of us without our medicine. My husband then went to retrieve my medicine and arrives at 1:29 to have the inside window shut on him saying it was lunch break. I understand staying firm to cutoffs, but there is also a little thing called Customer Service and in an industry where people need these medications, CVS Rockaway does not seem to value their clients.
