I would travel (sick) over 50 miles to get here and to make sure my prescription is filled correctly. I trust this Medicine Shoppe 100%. Tony has been filling my family's prescriptions for years and is a dedicated pharmacist who truly knows his stuff. The staff here can quickly fill prescriptions but the difference is the thoroughness, always making sure that a prescription is filled properly (important, right). There have been a few scenarios when Tony has to review the prescription with the doctors to ensure that we're getting the right prescription (this can go overlooked at other pharmacies). Tony/staff is very detailed oriented and has found cases when a doctor has asked to fill a prescription containing an ingredient the patient was allergic to- (yes, this actually happens!). They also make it a point to make sure that the patient understands the medicine, answering any questions and can easily explain the directions if needed. This is an intimate shop with a mentality of 'neighborhood pharmacy'-they get to know you and each individual's unique health care needs and they treat everyone respectfully. The shop carries everything a pharmacy should and the staff is always willing to quickly help locate an item or order something if you're looking for something specific.
