Worst CVS ever!!! Very bad customer service! I usually come to this CVS since it's closer for me to pick up my prescriptions. The staffs never acknowledge the customers standing in line for a very long time. Theres always one cashier at the pharmacy which tends to make the lines longer than it should. They dont smile at all either it's like they hate their job. They tend to not find the prescription at times by last name and makes u wait longer. Staffs there dont communicate with one another. This place needs new management and new staff immediately!!!!! read more

madan gupta 82+yr today i had 4 rx at the above pharmacy. the technician gave me two only. when i asked about the other two. she showed the computer, that there is nothing more. then i talked to another technician, she said there is another one, otc. i will pay. i showed her my insurance card, i am fully covered otc also. the 4th she could not find. that was a transferred rx from cvs riverside. then found out the 4 th. i repeatedly requested to talk to a supervisor, but in vain. the 4 th rx which was otc was ordered 4 days back by the doctor, not in stock. but still cvs could not arrange or inform me. i am a regular at cvs and every time i visit i get harassed. the higher management is quiet. 951 707 6997 among the 6 staff at pharmacy all to day were asian. read more

I have been going to this CVS Pharmacy for 15 years! I honestly have to say the customer service has gone downhill! Since the pharmacist Jackie left there's been so many people passing through. Some hard to understand and a few with a bad attitude. Prescriptions were not filled on time or back ordered. After 3 days, I would call to follow up. Either they needed extra info for a refillable RX or still on back order. I would ask to have it filled at a different CVS Pharmacy and they would send it to the wrong one!!! No communication! It's so frustrating! This was even BEFORE this location became overwhelmed with Rite Aid Customers!! I would be cautious to go in evenings. There are shady folks that hang around. One creep was following me aisle to aisle so I told employees. Thankfully my husband was in the car so I called him to come in. The creep came out after and used his cell phone. If I could give a negative star I would. VERY POOR and unprofessional pharmacist. Three times in the last month they have messed up our prescriptions: wrong amount, not in stock, not filling prescription, etc. Most recent event: my wife requested (on line) on Friday morning a refill of medication (pain medicine) that needs a new prescription from the doctor. She also called the doctor to request refills. Doctor called the pharmacy. On Monday my wife called the pharmacy to check if available, she was told nothing was available. She called the doctor and requested a refill of medicine. The doctor called the pharmacy and ordered the refill. She ran out of medicine. When she called the pharmacy she was told to go to urgent care and get a new prescription. Tuesday morning she called the pharmacy and checked to see if the prescription was available for pick up. She was told they have no prescription from the doctor. She called the doctor and the doctor called the pharmacy again. She then called the pharmacy to check on the prescription and when it could be picked up. She was told after 3 pm. She explained that the medicine is needed for pain and she was out of the medication and was in pain. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to pick up the prescription, it wasn't ready and it was for a 30 day supply not 90 day supply. I had to wait for over 45 minutes for the prescription to be filled. read more

Store is dirty with huge stains on the carpet. Dwindling stock of common items. The worst part of this store is the rude staff in the pharmacy. I even had to ask the pharmacist to speak to me nicely when she snapped at me to enter my phone number! I will NEVER step foot in this store again! read more

The in store service is not bad. I don't use this pharmacy buy when I did a few years ago, I did not have any problems. Definite poor service for curbside pick up. I have used it twice at this location. The 1st pick up took over 20 mins. Currently waiting on my 2nd pick up and getting ready to hit 30 mins waiting. Getting ready to cancel my order. Horrible customer service at this store. They made picking up a simple antibiotic a complete nightmare. The staff acted like they couldn't care less, weren't willing to help and couldn't even ask another cvs to transfer the prescription. Basically threw their hands up and didn't care if I got my rx or not. I do not recommend this place. This store keeps sending me a survey for a gift. I took the survey and I was told I could choose from 1-5 items. I picked the phone and tried to enter my info. It asked me than for a credit card to charge me $19.00. After reading the small print it stated that the credit card was to sign up for magazines and would be billed another $19.00 the next week also and it continues every 6 weeks. NOTHING ABOUT A PHONE. Needless to say I didn't give my card numbers. I never do these surveys but bcuz of the good reviews I did. Again, the whole reason I don't do these. Don't do this. Such a farce!!! read more

I came to this cvs branch twice and both times I had problems at the register. First time the man who rung me up didn't tell me what I needed to do to get the $10 cash buck and so he had to call the manager to explain to me what was going on and instead of being polite about the situation, first thing that came out of her mouth was attitude. The man told the manager that he had explained everything to me which he did not and my cousin was right next to me. Second time, the cashier was friendly. The only problem was that what was rung up didn't ring up for the sale price. And being fed up with that cvs I decided to just leave. Even though it was a couple of dollars, it should have rang up as the sale price like the other three items I bought did. I will not be returning to this cvs! read more

Worst customer service EVER! I dropped of three prescriptions yesterday and only received two and the third one was the most important. When I called to see who made the mistake my fiancé, the dentist or cvs it was cvs. They said they didn't see the third one and missed it, I could've died or caught an infection messing with them. So I was told to come in about an hour to get them. Upon arriving I was told I had to show proof of insurance which I didn't have to do the day before. So they had me searching and calling for information that didn't even matter cause I paid for my prescriptions the day before. No one is smiling, they're very short with their answers not customer service oriented at all. If I'm not feeling good and I'm coming to pick up medicine it would be nice to have a smiling face and someone who cares, not what cvs has employed here. After this prescription I will NEVER use cvs on Elk Grove florin again! Horrible horrible attitudes! read more

In 2008 CVS/pharmacy acquired Longs Drugs, and this location changed over into CVS/pharmacy in 2009. From a prescription standpoint, they seem to be quicker and friendlier than some of the neighboring pharmacies (such as Bel Air, Target, and Walgreens). read more

Like many other reviewers have stated, this is probably the worst pharmacy staff ever. We go here strictly because the location is close to our home. But, I am thinking we will be switching pharmacies very soon here. I'd rather drive a bit and get prescriptions filled in a timely manner and better service by a professional staff. For starters, depending on when you come in, the pharmacist might be at lunch and you're ask to find back. Why not have a back up? Customers should not have to revolve around your lunch! People are prescribed medications because they are necessary; not for recreation. Secondly, good luck getting notification when your prescription is ready for pick up. Sometimes they text, sometimes they don't. If your refills need a doctor's authorization, your request goes into space, because days would go by and you'd have no update. So you really don't even know if they even contacted your healthcare provider to request authorization. When you try to check and have to leave a message, they don't return your call. Again, please understand that when someone is prescribed a medication, it is because it's needed for their health issues!!! You're in the business of healthcare; it would be nice to show some actual care for your customers. Oh yeah, and whoever is in charge of this place needs to train the entire pharmacy staff professionalism and respect for patient privacy. I don't want others in line to know what meds I'm picking up and taking. Nor do they want me to hear about theirs I'm sure. Worst pharmacy ever staff is very incompetent i used Rite Aid for 12 yrs never had an issue i had all my prescriptions transferred there and every month for 4 months i tried to give them a chance i would call on my lunch break and tell them i would pick up at 4 i would get there at 430 and still not ready and i would have to wait another 30 minutes so i transferred all my prescriptions i another Rite Aid 15 minutes from my house. Well i forgot one so i called today at 141 was told it would be ready by 4 so at 350 I called to make sure and got hung up on called back and talk to pharmacist and was assured he would have it ready in 20 minutes so i had my husband stop on his way home from work when he got there he waiting in line 10 min to be told it would be ready in an hour huge waste of our time i work in a drs office and lots of my patients share the same things happen to them at CVS. CVS needs to step up their customer service which is extremely lacking if i could give 0 stars I would have read more

This is the last pharmacy you want to use if you are in pain and waiting to pickup pain prescription. Promised that mess will be ready in 10 min, took them 40 min. They don't even care about you. Very poor communication. read more

All I can say is call head for hours don't go by what's on Yelp. Needed medication and arrived an hour before it was supposed to be closed. Gates were up and I was screwed for the night. Giving it 2 because I'm not sure if fault falls on CVS or Yelps or both. read more
