The candy and snack selection is more in-depth than most convenience stores I've been to. They have a greater selection of chips, candy, etc. from smaller, overseas brands, as well as the regular stuff that you'd expect to find. They have beer, mostly the cheap national brands, with a few regional brews. The staff is super nice. They greeted me with a "Good afternoon!" and had piping hot coffee and slushees. They have most of the rear walls lined with coolers full of ice cold beverages. They also had a rack with some smoking accessories, which was interesting. I'm not talking about the usual lighters and ashtrays... But, they do sell lots and lots of tobacco, with a giant display behind the clerk. Parking was easy, with a dedicated lot. The restrooms were accessible, and clean. The place seemed safe, and it was a great spot to get some supplies! I'll certainly return.

I thought it was an anomaly until I stopped by this morning to find the " masks required " sign had been taken down and the employee ( owner?) was maskless as was the first customer who followed me through the door. I will no longer patronize this business as a result. Irresponsible and selfish. I called to ask about whether face coverings were required. The same maskless gentleman who waited on me told me yes. I explained I'd been in and the circumstances I'd witnessed. He told me " the sign was being washed"..... I told him I was disappointed and wouldn't be back. He was okay with that.

When i had to ask for a manager, she got more pissed off and started yelling and said she'd have to pay the $40 to fix the issue. I did raise my voice and told her to stop being a bitch and just fix the mistake she made, she also didn't give me my change because her pride was broken. Most places do not want to take your money order and direct you to take it back to the place you purchased it at it's been less than 24 hours and the store is declining me with receipt and money order to give me my money back on a blank money order.. Stating that on the back of their money orders here at 7-Eleven they are they are not required to provide my money back if it's over $75 however what am I supposed to do with a money order for a hundred and forty four dollars seventy-five cent...when my bill is only 44.75. So now I'm stuck and I was provided the phone number for Sam the store manager who I called immediately and who is extremely uninterested in my concern and extremely rude all he told me over and over again was it says $75 on the back.... ( which I was advised of and knew before I made the phone call already that was not even what my call was about) more so me voicing my concern on how I'm customer friendly that is... forget the empathy or ownership or anything like that that creates business returning to your store I'm completely turned off from your establishment and live right around the corner needless to say you will not see me ever again in your store. Every time I would drive by on my wat to and from work I kept thinking it would be the most convenient stop for me to get gas and was very disappointed that it had sat for so long, When they opened I was thrilled and it makes it so much more convenient for me. Haven't been inside the min-mart portion but they are always super quick to get to the pumps to fill my tank (yes, out of Oregon people, we still aren't allowed to do self-service here). They do tend to be s bit more per gallon than other stations in town, but I am willing to pay for convenience and happy to support someplace that I had been hoping for years would be open.

This West Salem Walgreens used to be a great store. It has really gone down hill. Went in to get a…read morepassport photo today. The clerk took my name and phone number. Went back in 5 hours later and one of the "managers" was there. No photo. The SD card isn't working, which he said has been a problem. He said he wasn't told anything when he came on shift about my photo. I asked if it would be policy for the clerk to call me and let me know it couldn't be done, so I'd know to go elsewhere. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers? Also, the store has been very dirty. I've asked when the janitor might be coming in. I was told they don't have one to do floors and someone on each shift is supposed to be cleaning them. Is everyone still using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and lack of help?
