Pharmacy - very inefficient. On a good day, the wait is unusually long even if you see the only person at the counter. Takes forever to put in a meds order, or just to pick up prescription sent directly from Dr office. So, i went for flu shot today. There was a family in front of us negotiating certain things (insurance? not sure), so that might have taken up the window. Not a problem. Saw the "flu shot here" sign at the "pick up" side, went to line up there instead. The lady at the counter then told me that I needed to line up at the "drop off" side -- which makes total sense, if their signage didn't confuse me in the first place. Now back to "drop off" side again, with an extra person in line. Great. But it made no difference, since the family was still there, for at least 15 minutes, with zero movement. The line was getting long, and the person in front of me had her issue sorted out back at the "pick up" side and left. Another 10 minutes later, the family got sorted out, and it was finally my turn. Now I'm informed that there would be AN HOUR WAIT. For what, I know not. I get it, it's Friday afternoon. But having waiting 30 minutes to be told that, it's a bit out of hand. Left and went to the branch at Cobb's Corner, got served right away. Their "flu shot here" signage was also placed correctly. With paperwork processing and such, got a flu shot and walked out in about 30 or so minutes. THAT's how it's supposed to be! Cobb's Corner is also at the border of 3 towns, so I can't imagine it having less traffic than the Sharon branch. read more

Employees arguing with tween themselves while customers wait , arrive before one wait for prescription then told store closing at 1:30. Nobody cares about the customers Big Y Walpole pharmacy so much nicer and more helpful. Walmart to do not go to CVS Sharon. read more

On April 29th, around 5:30 pm, The Male pharmacist was very rude and biggest ash hole I ever seen. All other pharmacists are good and service are friendly. CVS in Sharon is convenient for us, but we can take our business to Wallgreen. I urge to management pay immediate attention regarding the Sharon pharmacy. I am not the only one feel that experience. Me and a few of my friends were simply buying products for a school project. All of a sudden, the store manager came storming very aggressively towards me and my friends (12 year old girls) who were being very respectful of the items and staff in the store. Goes up to my friend and snatches the products out of her hand. Also aggressivly shouting at us to leave and that we can't "hang out in here" when we were paying for products in the store. I heard the sound of his hand hitting hers. Me and my friends AKA the girl who got hit and another girl, went over to a few of our other friends and told them what happened. I left my phone in the aisle and he came up to us and very very aggressively screamed at us to leave the store. I then told him my phone was still in the aisle and he said I don't care get out. We ended up leaving the store, calling our parents, and we were lucky enough to find a lovely lady who escorted me back into the store to get my phone. The police were called. I now have PTSD and have seen a since therapist. read more

They have the automated telephone menus, the long ten foot receipts and their famous cvs card which does nothing for you But when I needed a prescription filled not only did they NOT have it available but didn't know when it would be in stock Great job !!! Dropping or prescriptions for my pet. The pharmacy tech sat, and stared at my prescription for about a minute. She then went to the pharmacist. They talked for less than 2 minutes. When she came back she started asking me questions. When I was answering them, I began thinking that she has all the information, which I gave her. When I asked her if everything was ok, she said a snide remark, which I don't want to share. I pulled out a copy of the prescription so I could follow along. As she was asking more questions, I told her that that information is on the paper. She then started raising her voice at me, yelling obscenities and causing a scene. I told her to stop yelling at me. She yelled back that she was not yelling. I then told her that she is causing a scene. She denied it. I said "if that was true", while pointing at all the people looking at us "they would not be looking at us". I then asked to speak to her manager. She said "fine! You can speak to the manager, I am not filling you prescription." A minute later the pharmacist came over, acted like nothing happened. She began to ask me questions on the prescription. I asked if she was the manager, she replied "no". I told her I asked for the manager. She said that she runs the pharmacy. I told her what happened, she blew it off. She then asked if I wanted to fill my prescription or not. I told her, I want to speak to the manager. She did not want to grab her. I asked for the managers name, she gave it to me. Then I asked for her name. She would not give me her name, and covered her name badge. I asked for her district managers name. She gave it to me. I will never do business with this company again. Even after giving them a formal complaint. You don't treat anyone like that. read more

a couple months ago me and my friend were getting supplies for school when the store manager came up to us screaming get out. right before this, my 3 friends went into another isle in the back while me and 2 other friends were in the front of the store. all the way from the front I heard a big slapping sound come from the back of the store. when my friends came back they told us that the store manager slapped the product out of my friends hand(a 13 year old girl). a minute later we were getting our stuff to the register and the manager came up to us and started screeching to leave. we then left very confused. my friend told the rest of us that she left her phone in the store and told the manager and he told her "I don't care get out". lucky this lovely woman was sitting outside of the store and saw us concerned and asked if we are okay. we then told her all that happen and she escorted my friend into the store to get her phone. we then called our parents and one arrive to help us fix the situation. the police was called and since I have had PTSD and get very anxious walking near the store. i do not recommend going to this location. read more

This store is not the best CVS in the area. It's too small, dirty, and not well managed IMO. Each time I go in for a prescription there are people arguing about lost items, and they didn't have mine one time too. read more

Scheduled a flu shot on line for 12. Showed up on time and was told it would be 20 minutes because walk-ins were taken first. Why?! Waited around and picked up an RX and some supplies and around 12:15 asked if they were ready and then was told the pharmacist now has to fill a bunch of narcotic prescriptions to fill. Do NOT get your flu shot here! Not to mention the girl behind the pharmacy counter was unapologetic about the delay and could have cared less about my time. Never again! Shame on you, CVS! read more

How convenient! Especially for Sharon residents....... too bad it's such a terrible pharmacy to shop at though. I want to like this store, and the staff have me on board, they're friendly, helpful, and actually call additional cashiers when needed, while other places STILL don't! So for them, and they're wonderful-ness (besides the manager, who stares down people!), +1 star. Otherwise, there isn't a thing in the WORLD to make me return. Ever. Actually, It all started when I was at the Walpole Mall, when I thought "Wow. I almost forgot, I need to purchase this, this, and this". Didn't really feel like just going home to Westwood (the land of nothing, same as Sharon though....), so had the choice of the Walpole or Sharon CVS store (If only CVS had kept a store in the Walpole Mall...). Finally decided to check out the Sharon store and to look through Sharon center for future reference. The store is extremely small. Heck, the store is smaller than the HUGE parking lot in the back (why not just expand the building and not give a woo-woo about the futile lot?). Plus, it doesn't carry much, and doesn't compare to those new, modern, remodeled locations (that kill these ugly, annoying stores)! Plus, there weren't many sales, and I couldn't get my coupons! As pictured, the price scanner was broken and they should have offered to check for coupons at the register in comparison to just watching me struggle at the scanner (literally, the manager was watching me while I was getting coupons, looking at me like I'm crazy. What's up with people in Sharon? They don't like saving? Come on.). Additionally, there were barely any sales throughout the store and everything seemed old and outdated. Come on CVS, you can do better than this. Message: Hit up another CVS, Walgreens or Rite Aid, preferably the one in Walpole. Most others, including the Walpole store, are much larger, better, and easier to shop. 2 stars. read more

Dear Sharon CVS. I feel like it's an eternity to be the only one waiting in line with severe pain waiting to drop off my prescription. The same slow kind of line at prescription pickup. The same CVS that has trouble finding prescriptiond for pickup. The same CVS that I picked up and paid for 2 prescriptions, only to find 1 prescription in the bag when I got home. I had to go an extra 3 days without that prescription because nobody had time to ok look for it, and my doctor had to call it in again. Too bad CVS has a monopoly on community pharmacy , only to ruin what once an honorable profession and destroy the respect that pharmacists used to have. read more

The location is close to work so this is my go to store. Now that I've been going for a while my opinion of the place has improved. The employees are definitely a mixed bag - some are super helpful and even remember my name while others can barely make it through the transaction. If it weren't for one woman in the pharmacy I wouldn't go back to this place. At times the lines are RIDICULOUSLY long. I'm torn. One great person, but a lot of other not so great ones...Some of the not so great ones have also made really strange inappropriate comments about how they would rather be drinking or the torture practices they would like to use on this recently convicted person. Sharon's CVS Pharmacy is conveniently located right in the center of town. It is not much different than any other CVS I've been to in the past. The pharmacy staff is friendly and has been helpful when I've needed to fill prescriptions. The parking situation could be better as every spot appears to be a good distance away from the entrance. However, there is a second parking lot right on the street corner that customers use, too. Oh! And don't forget to use your CVS Extra Bucks! I'm trying to get better at that. read more

I don't know where the blame should go for this ineptitude wrt Rxs but I'll start here, plan to contact corporate and let them sort it out. Dr. sent Rx to this CVS 3 weeks ago, too early to fill so I was told it would be ready on 6/8, go there, sorry out of stock - special order and won't be available until 6/12. Go back 6/12, sorry pharmacist tells me she just ordered it on 6/11 and not in but will call (wherever) to check. Excuse me but if you possess the Rx 2 weeks before it can be refilled why don't you order it in time for it to be filled on time? Then not to order it until 3 days after I was there to pickup and they didn't have it? Total ineptitude!! read more

This is quite possibly the worst CVS I have ever been to. Hands down, the worst. I have never waited less than 1/2 hour in the pharmacy line. I have never waited less than 15 minutes in the cashier's line. Frequently, they send you a text message saying your prescription is ready and, even if you go several hours later, it's NOT READY. So you stand in line for 1/2 hour to get up to the desk where they tell you to stand aside until its ready. Then when it's ready, you have to stand in line for another 1/2 hour to get it. The last time I was there, I told them to take my prescription off auto-renew because I was moving my business. So naturally, I got a text message today saying my prescription was ready. I called and explained the situation to the pharmacy person and she said: "Oh, that's okay. It wasn't really ready anyway." Perfect. I went there to get my passport photo done last year. I went on a Tuesday about mid morning. There was one cashier working and he was torn between ringing up customers, working the photo booth, and me. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to get the photo. If you can possibly avoid this store, do it. I started getting my prescriptions filled at a CVS in Boston. Much, much busier store but incredibly efficient. I wish I could give the Sharon CVS negative stars. read more

I am one of CVS's top spenders in the country. No joke. They sent me a letter telling me. Most of my monthly award bucks are $20 or more. Going in this CVS I was appalled.....it is THE most god awful store I have ever been in. Shelves are half empty. Products are dirty, expired, damaged. I brought a makeup base to the counter that expired in 2006!!!!!!!! This store is a disgrace!!! read more

small, closes early, and not well stocked. Could not get distilled water and had to drive to another place out of town. Very poor "consultation" service regarding drugs. Basically told can't take back meds and go deal with the manufacturer. Did not listen to my concerns, and offered little recourse. Insisted the drug be returned as it was generic junk. Doesn't have pet food reliably, but that's the worst I can say. Very helpful, friendly staff. Large, clean store with reasonable prices & good selection. They're just as courteous five minutes before closing as they are midday. Pharmacy is quick and cordial. This is by far the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff behind the pharmacy seems lost, they do not communicate well with each other and things seem to fall through the cracks. In result you get long lines and lots of frustrated customers. After returning to the store for three consecutive days to pick up the same prescription that was NEVER filled, I decided to give my business to another pharmacy.
