In town for my daughter's hockey tournament and I noticed this spot and wanted to give it a try, as it seemed like the quintessential New England grinder shop. That's exactly what it was, and it hit the spot! I got the Italian (because of course) - the bread was soft and fresh, and it wasn't too overpowering. Perfect blend of Italian meats, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. The star may have been the onion rings. Perfectly battered and crispy without being over saturated in oil. I'm sad I didn't get a photo. The smokehouse BBQ burger was fantastic, too. Will be back next time I'm in town! read more

I've driven past this place on Route 1 near Gillette so many times over the years and haven't given it a 2nd look, and I've gone to every place surrounding it at least once before I went here, when really, I should have been going to C Scott's this entire time. They have the best subs and sandwiches in all of Foxboro and Walpole, and the service is excellent. I got the Chicken Cordon Blue sub, and the fried chicken was just the right amount of crispy and juicy, while the sub bread was so soft and delicious. The Steak and cheese here is quite possibly the best in a 50 mile radius. I've never had a sandwich here that was less than phenomenal.

I've had about 90% of their menu over the past few months due to being really close to work. I have to say, I have never had a bad experience with their food or service. When setting a time to pickup, they always have it ready and hot. Their chicken is always nice and crispy but not over cooked. Whether subs or wraps, always packed and always fresh. The appetizers are also really good. Their loaded tater tots could maybe use a little more seasoning inside, but mixed with their sour cream, it's delicious. Definitely a big step up from Jersey Mikes which is located next door. I can't find a single bad aspect of them to mention. For a filling and great-tasting meal, I highly recommend them. Pre COVID the kids and I stopped by three times. The first time we were curious about the establishment in general, to our surprise they were serving Greek food and it was delicious! I personally love the fact that we can sit in the restaurant and I can still shop for snacks and champagne while our food was being made. The second time we visited hangry Oscar insisted that we stop in for a wrap as none of us were in the mood to cook or go to a neighbors house and see what they were going to make us for dinner. (Yes, we are a little spoiled like that.) And again they got our orders spot on. Easy to make a plain burger... bun, beef... done. 90% of Boston and the Burbs just have to add something to it as if Oscar doesn't know exactly what she wants. But they listen and she wants only burgers from them. The third visit was 3 weeks before our blessed move out of Walpole (YEAH!!!) I had the kids run in for a quart of tysiki sauce, sadly at first they said no. But when Oscar went in on her own and offered $20 for the quart they said they really didn't have any to spare and they gave her a little container filled to the top for free. Yes, liquor store/restaurant on the corner of the highway with picnic tables outside seems all kinds of wrong. But they are great guys and awesome food they price the food for the average Joe to get a good meal for his money and so many gems about it, you're missing out if you pass them by. Best Subs ever. Everything is made from scratch. I get the chicken cutlet. Most places simply microwave precooked chicken tenders. This place fries them to order. Stayed at the Best Western across the street and just needed a quick bite before going to the Xfinity Center. If you live in the Walpole/Sharon area, esepcially near Route 1, and you are looking for great subs and wings, I highly recommend this little spot. Under new management, these hard-working guys offer an outstanding chicken salad sub and some fantastic crispy chicken wings both regular and buffalo. The owners brought to my attention as I was in here this past Saturday that even Mr. Bob Kraft comes in here to grab a chicken salad sub from time to time. I have also tried their Italian and steak and cheese as well, and they are not bad at all. The prices - 6.75 for 1 size sub. The portion on the 1 size is good. The wings go for about the same price for 8 pieces. I am so glad now that I dont have to go to D'Angelos any more now that my wife turned me on to this place. They also offer a variety of staples in their store as well if you dont have time to make it to the market. What a win win. Good going C Scott's. I'm fairly new to the area. Am a HUGE fan of Mediterranean food. Where I used to live was a small deli that sold home made baba ghanoush (this is a traditional tahini and eggplant dip - typically used with pita - similar to hummus). I finally found it here at C. Scotts - YAAAAY! A lot of people hear the word "eggplant" and are automatically turned off. If you will eat hummus, just please try it. C. Scott's is delicious. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little chunkier. GOOD JOB, Folks! Thank you, HK. Also, mostly I avoid meat - but not a vegetarian - but they never balk at preparing a sub with just veggies at a reasonable price. A deli in Norwood recently charged me $9.50 for a lettuce and tomato on JUSTwhite bread! No mayo, nor anything else. C.
