Italian Cold Sub
Andrea A.

In town for my daughter's hockey tournament and I noticed this spot and wanted to give it a try, as it seemed like the quintessential New England grinder shop. That's exactly what it was, and it hit the spot! I got the Italian (because of course) - the bread was soft and fresh, and it wasn't too overpowering. Perfect blend of Italian meats, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. The star may have been the onion rings. Perfectly battered and crispy without being over saturated in oil. I'm sad I didn't get a photo. The smokehouse BBQ burger was fantastic, too. Will be back next time I'm in town!

Man only 2 miles from Gillette Stadium you could get some of the best food in Mass. I'll show up late to a game for this food.

Famous Chicken Salad Cold Sub
James P.

I have driven past this place countless times on my way to Gillette stadium. Finally stopped by today before a Pats game. I tried the famous chicken salad, and I can see why it's famous! Very good. Would definitely come back before or after a Patriots game or when I find myself in the Walpole area. Bread was very fresh.. that may have been the best part!

It was off-putting that they didn't change their gloves between using the cash register/handling payments and then making sandwiches.

The Steak and cheese here is quite possibly the best in a 50 mile radius. I've never had a sandwich here that was less than phenomenal.

Best steak bomb I ever had. Can't wait to go back and try another. The menu looks awesome especially the large variety of salads.

I've had an Italian sub from this place. Not very good. High prices. I assume it's because of the location (on the way to the stadium).

You can order a deli sandwich to your liking and you can build your own salad at their bountiful salad bar. The salad bar is really nice and is more often than not my main reason for visiting the store. Here you can create your own unique salad with a good variety of salad makings including your basic lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers plus potato salads, fruits and a great variety of other salad toppings, vegetables and dressings. They have a good hot food bar too with various meat dishes, chicken and so forth plus pasta dishes, potatoes, vegetables and more. You'll also find some nice treats in their bakery area such as muffins and cookies. Their deli carries Boar's Head deli meats which is a very good meat company and their cheeses are excellent as well. If you're looking to buy groceries here they do carry quite a few of the essentials. They have a good sized produce area here as well for your fruits and veggies. It is a busy store but the cashiers keep the lines going at a pretty good clip. The atmosphere is nice and it's always a clean store which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. When I am passing through the area I always make it a point to stop by and see what they have to offer.
