Another clerk came and said she would help who was next. She helped one person and then disappears even tho the line was now about 8 people long. It was finally my turn. The clerk took my name and birthday then proceeded to press buttons on the touch screen for easily over a minute. What is going on??? I know this because I have a client who gets her medicine delivered from them and she lives in assisted-living by Lassale trine. They also have cards as well as other types of toiletries and pharmacy items you need like powder or cream more that type of stuff. I went in yesterday and they have now put in a eyeglass store so you can bring your prescriptions in and pick up the eyeglasses and stuff and have them filled so it's kind like one stop shopping type of thing. After going back and forth and waiting for about a half an hour to get my prescriptions, I was told my insurance is expired... which is false. Online my information states discounted pricing WITH exactly how much insurance saved me. Yet when I was there she claimed to me over and over that my information is incorrect and it's my fault my insurance expired. I was met with comments like "well at least I have insurance and pay for mine" "if you want any discounts you're going to have to come inside and talk to someone else" among others. She told me she would remove any discounts on my account just because I started to become upset and frustrated. I believe I was warranted to be upset considering all of the information I gave her was correct and my insurance has not expired yet. Shame on you Michelle. You shouldn't be working in any type of health care or customer service.

I needed a pain prescription filled, I was in severe pain from a procedure. The doctor made a small error which prevented them from filling the prescription. When I called because it was delayed, they were rude, told me it was not their fault, and that I should call the doctors office myself. I finally got the doctor to fix the prescription, but then got a message from the pharmacy that they needed another 90 minutes to fill the prescription, by which time I had no way to pick it up. I called them to ask if they could expedite it and they refused. Then I called to see if the prescription could be delivered and that was not possible either. The person on the phone accused me of being rude and "cussing her out" which I absolutely did not do, and hung up on me. I was in severe pain and really needed my medication, which I ended up not being able to get until the next day. I was not rude or inappropriate, Instead, the staff were insensitive, unsympathetiic, unhelpful, and rude to me. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions and never entering that store again.

This Walgreens has its own private parking lot with strict 30 min parking spots to keep things moving. I had no trouble finding a parking spot, even at a busy time of day. Assumption #2: The pharmacy must be tiny with not a large variety of OTC products & other goods. Verdict: Wrong! It's very deceiving. It looks super small from the outside, but it's pretty spacious inside with a large beauty & skin section. I found the exact falsies I was looking for. It was clean inside, the staff was friendly, & I found the experience to be not-frustrating which is generally what I'm looking for when it comes to pharmacy errands. I also saw a lot of items that were natural plant based which is perfect as my job is strict with food due to severe allergies. My only issue was online it said they open at 7am but the sign on the door said 8am so I was very hesitant to even approach the door as it was 7:10a and it was very dark inside, but I assume since the doors slid open the store was open, but maybe fixing the sign at the front it literally says pretty much everyday opens at 8am when they're indeed open at 7. My husband said he understood, there were customers waiting, so he got in line again to return and repurchase the items. The clerk refused saying the items could not be returned even though it said the opposite on the receipt. My now angry husband asked his name. The young man said "I'm not telling you my name". My husband said "I won't be spending my money here anymore". "That's okay" was the clerk's snarky response. We now spend our money at another local pharmacy that is not part of a chain. The owner/pharmacist is polite and very helpful.
