Great place to pick up a light lunch to enjoy when working my part-time job. If not an entire…read morelunch, I can pick up some additional items to complete the lunch with items I brought from home. This morning I was in need of both, breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, I was tempted to get one of the donuts which are always flavorful and fresh. They had a glazed donut with pink icing and sprinkles, but I stayed strong and went with a Blueberry Muffin, instead. The muffin had good flavor, but was on the dry side. Made wish I had grabbed a small bottle of milk, too. For lunch, I grabbed a Cheesewich from the deli case. It's a low-carb treat with, a slice of Hard Salami pressed between two slices of Colby Jack Cheese. To accompany it, I got a small bag of Fritos, my favorite salty snack. I couldn't go totally low-carb. The staff is friendly and I always like looking at the years of service on their name badges. There's a lot of long term workers. When checking out, I always make sure to get a quick pick Powerball ticket. Keeping my fingers crossed that I win someday.

They will bag your groceries and take them right to your vehicle. Questions about cheese, they have a person for that. It doesn't matter which isle you're in, someone who works there will be in your isle too, and ready to display their full knowledge about all the products they're in charge of. It's almost perfectly nostalgic for the way some perfect little places used to operate. You have to support all the local places who treat you with dignity and that something extra you can't quite put your finger on.
