I walked in to pick up my husband's prescription, warned by him that the prescription was going to be expensive. What he did tell me was that it was a tiny mortgage at $244.00. You read that right. Almost a quarter of a thousand dollars. Back to my story... Kellen, this young, hip tech asks me if I know how much the prescription is after seeing the price tag. I respond yes. Even he is gobsmacked. Kellen asks if I have insurance. I tell him we're between jobs so not at the moment. He says he's going to try to help me and starts looking for legitimate discounts. What he actually does is put himself in someone else's shoes and then takes the time to be human. When I go to check out, the screen says $29.99. Yep. Where the US healthcare system failed, Kellen literally came to the rescue. Superheroes sometimes wear navy tech scrubs. Fancy that. Thank you, Kellen.

The copay came out to $200, and when I asked about using GoodRx, it only reduced the price by $50. I needed a moment to decide whether to ask them to contact my son's doctor for an alternative medication or proceed with the prescription. Within seconds, she snapped at me, asking if I didn't see the people waiting in line behind me. I don't expect anyone to go above and beyond, but I certainly did not expect such rude comments or behavior--especially when discussing a child's medication and cost concerns. I will never go back here.

While sick and feeling really bad my dr called in antibiotics. I drove over to get the perscription about 30-45 minutes after it had been sent by the dr. I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes or so. Then the oh so caring pharmacy tech proceeded to tell me we don't have pharmacy fairies here. So rude. When feeling bad I would expect a little more care from my pharmacy. Needless to say, I won't be back here. CVS, Walgreens and Publix pharmacy are all close by. Even if drugs may cost a little more the service more than makes up for it. This is one case where you get what you pay for.

She stayed on the phone while I figured out what I did wrong and she was then able to fix the order for me. She did not have to do this or be so kind but yet she did. When I called on Monday to this CVS to see if they could transfer it for me it was an ordeal to say the least and then they never ended up transferring it or filling it. I called and left a message for a call back right at nine in the morning and it is now 5:30 and no call back. And this in now Thursday! I went online to the Caremark sight and the prescription was never transferred. Just a complete disregard for their customers.
