I have been a customer of this location for just over a year now. I have type two diabetes, so I am on several medications that I need. This particular location is pretty busy, but it is close to my home. The staff here all are professional, courteous, and super helpful. It is amazing how busy they are, considering that there are a LOT of people that need their medications filled frequently. My parents came back from a trip and both are ill. They had medications called in to the pharmacy and this morning when I called to see if they were ready, the pharmacist on duty today (Asha) acknowledged receiving their scripts, and also the fact that I was personally recognized via my name. I usually come in to the store and interact with the staff, but out of an abundance of caution I used the drive thru to keep everyone safe. They were so lightning fast, after opening up this morning at 10 everything was ready within 30 minutes...which was the promised time- but my mom got a text after 10 minutes saying it was completed. Just fantastic stuff. No one really ever thinks about the need for a pharmacy to be good (essentially they need to be perfect, 100 percent of the time!), and take the time to acknowledge the staff. Only when something goes wrong do people write about it, and that seems pretty unfair. So I want to give a shout out to the folks here at Walgreens, and the staff in the pharmacy specifically. Pharmacy staff is super friendly and accommodating. Wait times are never long, even in the drive thru. On a number of occasions, including this evening, I have seen the pharmacist jump in and help with customers in the line, grabbing prescriptions, ringing customers up, etc. All my medications are always filled by the time promised. How does a pharmacy run out of a medication? I seriously would like to know this? Absolutely ludicrous!! Never heard of something like this, then I'm told there is a national back order!! Really? Over a year ago when Nick was the pharmacy manager, I loved going to Walgreens. I was always greeted with friendliness and respect as well as extraordinarily good service. When Nick left and the staff seemed to change overnight it went from excellent to totally unacceptable. The pharmacy itself runs out of stock very frequently. The store itself seems to delight in selecting rude and uncaring personnel. Additionally the staff is totally untrained and unaware of some of the things they tout. They cannot explain details of the Walgreens MasterCard and certainly do not understand their delivery process. I placed an order yesterday which was to be delivered between one and three and Got A response by email stating it was on its way at 2:30. By 330 and then for it still has not arrived. I called the 800 number on the order and they confirmed that they saw the order in their system and then returned me to the Cumming Location for more service. That is a laugh since that location has no idea what service is or should be. First I was told that they don't use DoorDash which was who was to deliver it according to their email. Then he said well I'm here looking right at your order. That was nice since it was supposed to be at my house well before then. I asked how I was going to get it or what was I supposed to do and he repeated that he was looking at my order and told me what was in it. It is now Saturday morning and I have not heard from Or seen anything about the order. I had also requested that my emergency inhaler be delivered. It still has not been delivered showed that it was an incomplete order since they had run out of stock. it is so unfortunate for me because this is a convenient location. But with the constant errors, incompetence and quality of personnel I am not sure that I can continue. I got a Walgreens credit card based on information I obtained at the store. I no longer use it primarily due to the quality or lack thereof from the store itself. I am going to explore other drug stores in my area since I certainly cannot do worse. I was in dire need for my photo order to be processed and politely asked if they could expedite my order knowing it was a long shot. The friendly associate handed my issue off to the store manager. The nice store manager said she would have my pictures ready before the store closed. I appreciate the kindness and understanding of the store manager. She listened to my issue and was able to help me and make my Walgreens experience comfortable and pleasant. I'm so glad I live near this store! Awesome customer service! read more

I have a CVS less than 2 miles away but I will drive more than 8 miles to Walgreens instead. The clinic is just that much better. They offer online appointments with an app. They send a copy of my record to my doctor. They called to check up after the visit to see if things were better. They have a loyalty program that gives you cash off anything you want to buy not just coupons for what they want you to buy. read more

I won't be shopping here again. Every time I go in here, the manager limits the amount of coupons he "allows" me to use. They are valid coupons. I tried to buy 6 pizzas and use 2 coupons. They wouldn't allow it. They made up their own "coupon rules" and told me they would only allow me to use 1 coupon. "He didn't want me clearing the shelf." Ok Mr. manager, had I not been using coupons, would you have allowed me to buy those 6 pizzas??? Learn good customer service, part of which is accepting customer's coupons. I'll be calling corporate when they open on Tuesday. read more

Because of this store I lost my brother. He was a diabetic who took insulin, well his normal pharmacy was out of syringes and so was my brother. So he called CVS and they told him they couldn't sell it to him because his insulin wasn't on file there. They made him drive to his house and get his bottle and come back. Well he went into shock and totaled his car and lost his life. His phone calls were recorded and listening to him plead with you and you just killed him over a $5 item...thank you read more
