The staff in the pharmacy and front line are all customer service oriented. I am greeted every time that I shop there or pick up my prescriptions. Items in the store are easy to locate. I normally fill my scripts at Mystic CVS, but I had to Uncaiville so I decided to fill at the CVS @ 2005 Norwich New London Tpke. This is hands down the WORST pharmacy i have ever been to!! Four girls amd the pharmacist and they literally ignore you. I was the only one at rhe counter and all I needed was eye drops. Two others walked out and the girls behind counter rolled their eyes and grinned. The crazy part is one customer asked the pharmacist what was going on and he actually defended them! This is a nice store with friendly helpful salespeople. However, it is scary. My health care provider, admittedly just as neglectful as CVS, prescribed pain medication for me that contains an ingredient to which I am very allergic. I always assumed that my CVS pharmacist would catch such an occurrence. My profile list my allergies. Instead, they filled it. It was by sheer chance that my groggy, pain-muddled self realized the situation. Apparently, you can't trust CVS to monitor such things. I am currently looking for a small independent pharmacy that I can rely on for such protection. In addition, the substitute medication that got prescribed was not ready for pickup until well after the worst of the pain had passed. read more

They worst pharmacy, beyond slow, always a wait, the actual pharmacist is joke. They change their hours whenever, pretty sucky.

There was no one at the front registers and I could not use self checkout, so I went back to the pharmacy section to help me with my purchase, there were no other customers but at least a half dozen employees back there. I was standing at the counter with my goods, but not one employee acknowledged me. After a few minutes of being ignored, I put the merchandise back and walked out of the store. I had a medical emergency and went to urgent care and they sent my prescription here. Upon coming to pick it up, I was ignored at the counter for about 5 minutes before someone rudely asked if I needed anything. I told them I had a prescription called in and they gave me the total price which was well over $300. I told them that couldn't be right and gave them my insurance and they were extremely rude and told me they don't take my insurance here. I was obviously upset and panicking and they were basically rolling their eyes at me and making me feel very stupid. They were not helpful at all. I eventually got them to transfer the prescription to Walgreens but it was a struggle to get to that point. read more

I am a prescriber. Every time I call, I'm given the runaround at this pharmacy. The staff is very rude. Asking for me to call back because they are extremely busy and do not have time for my call. The pharmacist "James" is very rude. Unfortunately I go Into this pharmacy today as I'm in town and need a prescription. I question my prescription being filled and was spoken to with such rudeness and condescension. I was sarcastically shown the bottle, told that "I've been doing this for 20 years", and that I need to have be positive that he was filling my prescription correctly. I will be taking my business to Walgreens, Stop and Shop, or Walmart; anywhere other than this place. I will also direct my patients away this pharmacy! read more

Horrible communication between Insurance, Pharmacy staff and patient. The insurance had a limit on how many at a time it would pay for on my RX. Not one person called me to inform me of this before pick-up and it took 3 weeks to figure out how many my insurance will pay for and what brand they preferred. Meanwhile I was getting a different story from every staff I talked to. They're never in stock on my medication I get on a weekly basis and it has been over 2 months. I have had nothing but problems, confusion and wasted time with this Pharmacy. read more

I cant understand how you can be called a pharmacy but not have pharmaceutical medications. 2 scrips need filled. only have 1 of them in stock. only 50 pills. was told it would be 5 min. Cool. no problem. 35min later my 1 item Still isnt ready. instead i get to stand there and listen to all the other fucked up people and there medication problems. to me,, your medical issues should be kept to your self. not shouted across a pharmacy. i dont need to know what skin condition you have, or if your asshole leaks. TMI!!! i have back problems, and cant just stand around for a half hour waiting for a medication that 3 ppl told me would take 5min to fill.. they spent more time chatting with other people, than filling meds.. i was going to have my meds switched here, but Nope, not now. not after that. read more

I used to fill my RX's at this location but after so many bad experiences I had no choice but to switch. Prescriptions were lost, I was never contacted with insurance issues, and the staff was extremely rude. I recommend the Norwich or Waterford Locations. Much nicer and much more efficient. read more

I have had absolutely nothing but issues when I switched to this pharmacy. Like other people have said, they take you for a runaround. I have tons of different prescriptions I get a week, sometimes up to 10. The medications I take are things you can't mess with. When I was on Lexipro for my depression they had told me I couldn't refill it and said it wouldn't be in stock anymore. My mom and everyone began getting concerned. I had no meds. They had no emergency supply. We tried to figure out what to do, but there was no reason to keep coming up with bs excuses of why it's "no longer in stock." How can you take a kid off of depression meds cold turkey? It's not that easy to just switch around pharmacies. We went to one of those small pharmacies and called my insurance so we could at least get a couple days worth while we switched to a different pharmacy all together. I will never be going back to that place and there's no excuse for what I went through. No concern for their customers at all. A kids life was on the line and they had no guilt or urgency at all to try and find a solution. More than half the people at that pharmacy should be fired. If you just have small meds like birth control or omeprazole, it's the place for you read more

The pharmacy at this location employs the rudest, most unprofessional and lazy pharmacists I have ever encountered. On a recent visit they would not even approach the counter to talk to me, they asked from their computer in the back if I needed anything. I was then forced to give them my personal information across the room. Then told that they needed hours to transfer a prescription for me. When I went back hours later there was a problem with my insurance of which all they needed to do was call the 800 Number on the back of the card. Again on my second visit they never left their computer counter in the back but had to address me from across the pharmacy. They told me they were much too busy to call my insurance company to get the information that I would once again have to come back in a few hours. Then I went to a different CVS and the woman there took care of my whole prescription with insurance in a matter of 10 minutes. read more

Worst pharmacy in the area by far. Regardless of whether I use the drive-thru or bring my prescription in to get filled it always takes a minimum of 2 hours. As if this isn't bad enough there have been two separate times when I've dropped an RX off at the drive through and they told me it would be 20 minutes... after 20 minutes went by with no text notification I returned and was promised that it would "only" be 30 more minutes. Both times this went on for 3 hours even though I showed them that I had my infant son in the car with me. They are inconsiderate, unprofessional and unorganized. A HORRIBLE PHARMACY. read more

I do have to say I have run into a couple of rude pharmacists at this location.....but...!!! There is definitely one that goes above and beyond to help out. He has always tried everything to get me the best prices on prescriptions when we had no Insurance. His name is Tim Mckenna. I also brought a friend in one time to fill her script, and again he went above and beyond. We actually looked up at all the pictures of the pharmacists on the wall to get his name, we would just like to give credit where it is due. He definitely deserves recognition, so nice ,so professional, and just a poster of incredible customer service!!! He deserves a big raise...and an awsome Christmas bonus!! Keep up just being you Tim...its obvious he is genuinely good ,caring person, and not because its his job. read more
