Away from home, I realized I forgot my flip flops and figured I could buy a cheap pair at this CVS, since it is just 5 minutes away from the beaches. While they had a whole aisle of beach gear, the flip flops section was very sparse and only had a very small selection for women and children available. This is the worst customer service I have experienced recently in the healthcare setting. I had an Rx for a pain medication called in this morning @ 9 am. I stopped by @ 1:25 pm to see what the status was since my text notice from CVS being processed @ 9:18 am was the only communication. I went to the pharmacy providing my information and was informed they did not have enough in stock to fill it and it was on back order for the last 3 weeks...not sure when it would arrive, really!?! I asked when or if they intended to contact me as this is an acute medication...crickets! I asked if another CVS would be able to fill it and was informed they could not discuss controlled substances over the phone, OMG? Can't discuss between pharmacists, WTF! At this point he informed me it was lunch time and closed the gate, with a closing till 2 PM for any other issues. How this pharmacist ever got hired to be in healthcare with a role in patient care / management of any kind provides a testament as to how far the practice of pharmaceutical management has sunk. Based on this experience I would not trust any information or consultation from this location...take your Rx somewhere else, your health might depend on it! read more

I'm not sure how an $8.5 billion dollar company can have stores that are falling apart, dirty, and so few staff that you have to sit in the drive thru for 20 min, but apparently they do and can in Vero Beach. Staff have generally been helpful and appear to be run ragged so I don't blame them. This kind of corporate mismanagement, however, is disgraceful. read more

CVS is so unethical. They give you a 20% off one item coupon, but when you pay with your extracare/carepass points, it lowers it to almost 1%, they play a lot of games with their extracare and carepass programs. Today I decided to cancel the carepass. I am tired of their racket, they are not upright nor ethical and I really question them as an efficacious business now. You need to ask them to do the 20% off first manually at the cashier then use your points. It really is so unfair and unethical how they operate. On top of it, today when we went to pick up our prescription in the drive thru we were treated so poorly and the lady was hateful and never would give us our receipt. Child-like, hateful, and dismissive behavior from her, their employee. CVS overall has a lot of issues, no matter what store you go to. No wonder they have an F on the BBB and mostly 1 stars on most review platforms. Are they proud of this? They really need to improve so much with this business which is supposed to care about health. read more

Went there to fill a prescription for my dog using GoodRx and was told GoodRx does not cover pets which is a lie. I went to Walgreens and had no problem filling it there. I will never go back there again after I pick up one for me as they had to order it WOW just went there to pick up Rx for myself and after waiting in line at the drive thru I was told to drive around to end of line as it would take 10 minutes to change pricing. I was just at Walgreens for my dogs Rx and it took them about 1 minute to change it. I wonder how she was going to change it while waiting on other customers in line. Again I will never go back to any cvs ever. read more

The Pharmacist was unreasonable and would not fill a much needed prescription. He was judgemental about what the doctor was prescribing and thought he knew more than the doctor. Two of the night managers in the store have been rude and have not honored CVS' "no questions asked" return policy. There are two managers, though, that I would like to commend. Joanne and Mike. They have always been helpful and friendly, where as the others have made me feel terrible and one left me crying after an interaction. He was verbally abusive. I've never had these kind of experiences at a pharmacy store. read more

Worst CVS I've ever been to. Needed a prescription filled for my son's pinkeye. Prescription was sent in from the doctor at 5:30. I arrived to the drive thru window at 5:45, and the young man at the window told me that they didn't receive the prescription. After I asked him to check again, he noticed that they did receive the prescription, but he couldn't fill it because they were closing at 6 (meanwhile, the window connecting the store to the pharmacy inside the store was already closed) I'll never shop at this location again. read more

This is my favorite CVS in town, for so many reasons. The pharmacy staff are always friendly and get my prescriptions filled asap. The store always has great deals. But most importantly, everyone who works there is SUPER nice. Like...really, really nice. They are constantly dealing with the usual stressed customers and they never let it get to them. Special shout out to Carl- my son was jumping around and acting a fool in the checkout line one day and instead of yelling at him he was very sympathetic and actually suggested we look into meditation. So there you have it. A CVS where they're kind to all. Oh, and they're expanding their NYX makeup display. read more

Disappointed. I visited this store on 12/02/18 and was assisted by 2 individuals, who were rude. I would like to add that I frequent this store several times a week, so their rudeness was not my usual experience. I initially was assisted by Tammy who became irritated when I questioned why I was asked to drive away from the window and get in the back of the 5 car line. She rolled her eyes and stated "Well, stay there then" but not before walking away. Shortly after, another individual came to the window, who was later identified as Janet. I explained to her that I felt that Tammy was rude to me and she replied with "No, she wasn't; I was standing right there". She stated that they have a time frame to assist customers and their line was growing. I could not believe that was her response. I then asked Janet by what authority did she have to tell me, the customer, when a staff member has been rude to me. I repeated the dialogue and the actions by Tammy and she repeated, "Well, I don't think she was rude". It was then that I ended my visit with telling her that as often as I have frequented CVS, I had never been treated so rudely. I called the store later that day and was advised that Conner was in charge of the pharmacy and I could reach him the following day, being 12/03/18. I opted not to call because based on Tammy and Janet good customer service and kindness isn't something that's required. I typically only have praises for CVS but my last pharmacy visit really disappointed me. read more

I believe customer service workers have a very hard and stressful job. When you find some one who goes out of their way to help you I think you should let it be known. I used this pharmacy when my original pharmacy closed a few years ago. Overall satisfaction at this CVS was very, very low. The pharmacy staff, after many months of filling the same prescription for me, never got it right. What's more, when I pointed out the errors, they argued with me or gave a nominal apology, although each time I was right and they got it wrong. Incompetent, lazy, stupid? They cannot count, often putting one item in the bag and charging me for two or saying that they didn't have the order when it was clearly in the bin. In early experience, I got home only to find that they had shorted me and had to drive all the way back and then get an argument. They often insisted that they had "already taken the insurance into account" when I don't have any insurance! My prescriptions are not controlled substances, but this doesn't make it any easier. To top it off, prices on the same thing, but in smaller containers have gone up exponentially. I left this place as quickly as I could and won't be back. read more

I have been using this CVS as my pharmacy for around 8 years and will never go back after the way I was so RUDELY treated by CONNER specifically. My prescriptions were made purposely inconvenient to pick up, my HIPA rights violated and my personal business discussed in front of the entire store and I was shamed in public. Maybe I will be back when CVS tired of him but as of now I choose to use a different pharmacy. read more
