It has been five days since he received the prescription and three days that I have been without it. It is unconscionable that the pharmacist knew I was not going to receive the medication and did act to help the patient. We have an expectation that pharmacists will act in the interest of the patient. This was avoidable had the pharmacist acted in an ethical manner. Woman there put a regulator on the tank and showed me it was in the red zone. Got new tank, hooked it up, and made a sparkling water for myself. I got four months of service from the previous tank. I go through four 26 ounce Soda Stream bottles per day. So I am pleased.

If you want a CO2 cylinder filled, they offer 2 options. They will send your cylinder to Ft Pierce (several day turnaround), or you can elect for a cylinder exchange. It is similar to a propane type exchange. I elected for the exchange since I did not want to wait. I gave them a brand new 5lb empty CO2 cylinder and they gave me a full cylinder that was due for inspection in less than 2 years. I asked about the inspection coming due on the exchange bottle verses my new bottle. He told me the inspection fee would be waived for cylinders originating from their exchange program. Their cylinder included their company label. Made sense to me. I placed the cylinder in my beer kegerator and all was fine. When I needed a subsequent fill, the cylinder was out of inspection. A different employee working the desk told me I could exchange the cylinder; however, I would need to provide an additional $50 for the 5yr inspection. She would then provide me a 5lb cylinder exchange. The full cylinder would once again come due for inspection in a reduced period of time. When I attempted to explain the situation and what information I was previously provided, she was not receptive, argumentative, and somewhat condescending. From my experience, I would suggest to only use the exchange option if you cycle through your CO2 supply quickly. I went 2 years before needing a fill. I suggest purchasing a new cylinder online and have it filled. You can't count on something verbally promised. By only filling your own bottle, you will only pay for the inspection every 5 years as intended.

I have been struggling for a while with my vision changing and she really took the extra time to sit with me to make sure my lenses were the PERFECT prescription. She is kind, caring, and patient.
