But when mail order has failed us in the past, Barr's has bailed them out. The also carry a variety of little trinkets that make great stocking stuffers to get for Christmas. But what sets this place apart from any other Pharmacy, is the fact that they have a delivery driver to bring medication to you so you don't have to deal with the tourists during tourist season.

The pharmacist on duty was extremely helpful and played an integral role on figuring out what I could take safely. There was no dreadfully long line to get pharmacy consult. I am so immensely grateful because I was able to just enjoy the rest of the short leave without any worries. I even managed to sleep through the night and woke up feeling ok. And best of all, this CVS location has self-checkout and the cash wrap experience was excellent as well. I wouldn't mind visiting this CVS again in the future.

I've always pictured the check out area as being too small an area to sit & receive an injection. Boy, was I wrong! I've had most of my other vaccinations at other pharmacy chains. You are asked to sit in the chairs where others are waiting for prescriptions to be filled. You then receive your shot in view of the shopping public & are sent on your way. Not so with the Shore Drive Kroger Pharmacy. The knowledgeable pharmacist first went over a questionnaire with me, also checking my medications for interactions. She specifically checked to see if I had waited the appropriate amount of weeks since my last Rheumatoid Arthritis infusion. Satisfied that I was safe for the vaccination, she led me to an enclosed room with plenty of chairs. It felt like a safe space. After my injection she instructed me to wait 15 minutes to make sure I had no adverse reactions. The only other vaccination site that followed through on this recommendation was the Scope Sentara Mass Vaccination event where I had my first two Covid vaccines. When my waiting time was over the pharmacist came into the room and told me I could leave. I am so impressed with the detailed level of care I received. This is now my vaccination pharmacy of choice.

She thinks she is the DEA if you're getting pain medications there be aware that she is a person that thinks if you take pain medications you are a criminal. She tore my prescription up in front of me. No Pharmacist should be able to tell you or your Doctor what kind of Medicine a person should be taking. I take a lot of medicine due to having a lot of surgeries. I feel like if you don't want my profile for prescription the store doesn't need my business.

This location is only 6 months old and across from Town Center on the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd and Constitution Dr. I am shocked that it has taken me this long to visit the new Town Center Walgreens. I guess the biggest reason is I love my CXB store and staff. So on a day when I was in the area and looking for a specific ad item not in another location, so why not. From the outside you can tell that the design of this Walgreens is different. All brick and tall lines and fitting of the TC area. I assume the city had something to do with the design of the store, but I am unsure if true. There seems to be plenty of parking with overflow in the mall parking lot if necessary. There is a drive-thru pharmacy too. The lot, sidewalk and entry way were free of debris. When going in the store I was taken back and impressed by the updated design. Concrete floors, high ceilings that expose the steel beams and duct work. I really thought it was cool. However, the coolness did not stop there. The whole design of this Walgreens has a fresh contemporary look and I was really loving it! The place is not as huge as you might expect from the outside. They have all the areas most import to it's customers... pharmacy, photo and cosmetics. But inventory wise it is more a mid size location. I was greeted by Diana while coming in the door which is a Walgreens trademark. I learned that this is indeed a "special" place called a Walgreens Wellness store. What does that mean this mean to the customer. It is a focus on it customers wellness needs. The pharmacy has many services from immunizations, diabetes testing, cholesterol checks and blood pressure. All this is done in the privacy of a closed off room and it's very nice. Pharmacy tech Ruby took me for a a tour of the wellness room and provided me into about their services since this was my first time at this location. She was extremely helpful and invited me and family to come back. Also important is they process your insurance if covered for the wellness services. I came across another clerk on the floor named Peggy who was an older woman with gray hair. After talking a few minutes about how much I was enjoying the store she informed me of a ordering service on the web that I had no idea about. By going to walgreens.com and choosing this selected store (the only one in VB I believe) you can fill your cart with merchandise in the store, pay for it and have it all ready to pick up. Soon they will even have a curb side pick up. Peggy was so helpful and sweet to talk to. I found what I was looking for and it ended up not being in the ad and on sale. However, I love the delish line of nuts only carried by Walgreens and moved to the front counter. It was a little backed up and I was called over by Diane to cosmetics to check out which was helpful. Checkout was smooth and I was on my way. I was impressed with this updated Walgreens Wellness store. This is such a nice place to shop and quite the departure from the rest of the chain. The fact it is a Wellness store makes it that much more desirable. The staff was hitting on all cylinders today and the store is still smells new car fresh. I would recommend the TC Walgreens all day long and plan a return visit in the near future.

My boss highly recommended Irwin's and I was soooo confused initially ("you're sending me to a pharmacy for food?" haha). I looked it up and made a to-go order. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with a side of ranch. I walked in and the whole place is a vibe. Even the customers in line with me were smiling and friendly. The staff was great and welcoming. The prices are soooo much better than any of the other local places I've tried. My cheesesteak was awesome- tasty and a good size. If I had a longer lunch break I'd dine-in because the place is this adorable diner-style place and clearly has a solid history in the community. The only downside to this is that now I have to admit to my boss that he was right about something (just kidding). Anyways, check it out!

I have been going here off and on for the past 58 years. I went to pick up a prescription on…read more12/27/25 and the price was 81 cents. When I said I was using cash, the price went up to 85 cents. I had plenty of pennies but nope, they round up no matter what. I don't think that is very fair business. Others I have gone to knock the price down to the lowest non penny denominator. They do have a very nice "fountain" with delicious limeade and some cool items for those who want to shop there. UPDATE!!! Randi from Irwin's actually called me moments after I posted the review. She explained they did in fact round up when they should have rounded down. Therefore I have changed my stars and am very impressed that they called asap and offered to reimburse the change. Thank you Irwin's.
