The store manager DONNA, was not willing to help and actually threatening that she would not ring my purchase if I need to add any coupons - the system was not doing the right thing, and they had to ring items over again, but It wasn't my fault so for her to threaten me that she would not charge me for my purchase that wasn't right and she said a very bad example for the cashier actually - that is not right. read more

I accidentally pulled my back during my leave in VA Beach and needed some pain relief quickly. It didn't feel so bad that I needed urgent care or an ER visit so I swung by the CVS before dinner. Couldn't figure out which OTC NSAIDS to purchase because of other medications I already take. I didn't want anything that might be considered contraindicated. The pharmacist on duty was extremely helpful and played an integral role on figuring out what I could take safely. There was no dreadfully long line to get pharmacy consult. I am so immensely grateful because I was able to just enjoy the rest of the short leave without any worries. I even managed to sleep through the night and woke up feeling ok. And best of all, this CVS location has self-checkout and the cash wrap experience was excellent as well. I wouldn't mind visiting this CVS again in the future. read more

I have been standing at the self-checkout for over 10 minutes. I am not able to check out since I am trying to buy NyQuil for my sick wife and it says ID needs to be checked. There's a cowbell at counter that has been shaken as well. Who ever the employee that is supposed to be working 06/28/24 at 2341 hours should explain what they were doing. Update: There's another family here waiting for help, I finally went to a door that says "employees only alarm will sound". I opened it and held it open until an employee came out. I have been coming here for a long time. They seem ok when things are simple. But since the adderall shortage they have been terrible. The pharmacist gives you attitude for even asking if they have it. When you ask if there's a waiting list, or when they might get more in stock she just looked at me like she couldn't believe I would ask this. As if you needing medicine is inconvenient for her. They will not let you know if medicine is in. There is no wait list. Don't ask unless you want attitude. She will say goodbye and close the pharmacy window on you. I used this store for several years. However, I have to leave this store because of my experience today. First of all, they have no enough basic medication. I was injured twice last week at work. The doctor ordered two medicines on 4/16/24, they only could provide me one. I must go to Walmart Pharmacy where I could get it on the counter. Today, I went to the store again to get another doctor ordered medicine. This time, they still can only provide me with one type of medicine. I tried to pay the fee with my employer provided pharmercy card, but they do not know how to get the fee from the card. Two ladies who worked a long time and could not figure out how to add this card information into CVS systems. I am very disappointed based on their ability. So, I told them, I would cancel all my information in this store. I do not want to waste my time with them any more. read more

This is the closest CVS Pharmacy that I can go to. Most of the time, it's usually to come in for prescriptions since my prescription plan requires that my prescriptions be filled at CVS or mail order. The pharmacists here have always been friendly and have never had any issues with this location. In fact, when I've been there, they've tried to have the prescriptions rushed to be completed so I didn't have to wait as long. The fact that they are open 24 hours a day is a good bonus. I also come here to find some things you might not find elsewhere. Having the ExtraCare card helps since you can get discounts and savings on a variety of items. In some cases, the coupon makes some items cheaper than getting at other places. Overall, this is a good place. If you're looking for something though, try to have a coupon since some items are more expensive here than at other places. read more

Corporate has a formula and they do a good job of ensuring that all the various outlets are executing it perfectly. Great experiences with this CVS. I am new to the area having had moved here in the last year to take care of my elderly Mom. A new pharmacist, Dave, has been so thoughtful and kind. I've had a couple of emergent pharmacy needs in the past week or so and Dave has been so reliable and helpful. He's gone out of his way, and I know this b/c I can't help but notice the volume of orders he is processing pretty much single handedly. The Walgreens up the street may be more "posh", as stated in an earlier review. But I will keep coming to CVS. I know I can count on Dave to provide exceptional service and that means the world to me. read more

This is the closest CVS to our house. The store itself is clean, pretty well stocked and being only a couple years old has all the right items. Everything from regular grocery items to beer and wine. The pharmacy is efficient and what really stuck with me was the pharmacists answering questions when my wife had concerns over a certain medication and giving advice on over the counter items as well. What sets this one Above other pharmacies in my opinion is that they will say welcome toCVS when you go in the store. Yes it is a little thing but it matters. Parking is easy, as is an easy in and out of the parking lot. The drive through pharmacy has two lanes. A little hint, if you hate waiting for a long time avoid going here between 3 and 8 pm. This is my local cvs so I've shopped here often in the last 5 years. The previous staff from about a year ago and back were all super nice, always greeted you when you walked in and were super attentive. I'm not sure if they have a large amount of new employees or maybe seasonal employees but their customer service has decreased substantially. A few weeks ago a young lady followed me around the store, she ended up in the same aisle as me, at least four times. Insisting that she was just changing labels (I didn't ask). I'm not sure if my browsing around the store was suspicious? But I tend to browse in places like cvs and target. Today multiple products were placed in the wrong area, I had picked up the product thinking it was on sale. When the cashier told me the price I alerted her to the price tag. She asked for the bag to see it by saying "Give it to me", and held her hand out. I paused , because is that how you speak to customers, or people in general??? I handed it to her , she walks around from the cash register, peels the sale sticker off and says "sorry", doesn't seek to honor their mistake or anything. With that being said the customer service here has gone down the drain and it's unfortunate. read more

This is the WORST drugstore! I needed an INSURANCE APPROVED early refill, my doctor faxed in the request. CVS LIED about receiving it all weekend!! I contacted my doctor, they refaxed it in twice! They told me to have doctor refax it again on Monday. Then my doctor called them and they said it is CVS POLICY to refill no earlier then two days...CVS policy....WTH??? read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've had the displeasure of dealing with. Relocated from FL to VA a couple of months ago, and went to CVS (near Redmill Commons on General Booth) to refill my scripts and ensure that they had been transferred to my new location (I had called a month earlier). Not only were they rude (Stephanie and Victoria in particular), but they managed to screw up BOTH of my BP meds. They stated that I didn't have any refills left, so I brought my pill bottles in to show them that I had 2 refills on both scripts. They stated that they needed to see the "hard copy". Who has the hard copy of an old script?? I would have had to hand that in, when first filled. THREE trips to this pharmacy in three days, to try to rectify the situation and get my pills. Finally, I told them I'd be taking my business elsewhere. I'm not only leaving THIS CVS, I'm leaving the company entirely. VERY POOR customer service, and refusal to admit that they screwed up. Because of them, I now have to find a local doctor to get new scripts (so I have to pay for a doctor's visit, even though nothing is wrong with me, just to get new scripts). Don't waste your time going to this pharmacy. Rite Aid and Walgreens are right around the corner. read more

This is a quiet CVS, never too many people when I have to go there; the pharmacists and pharmacy techs are great; they offer alternatives to expensive medicines I am prescribed, as I ask what the cheapest OTC can do that this expensive medicine can do; there's a place to sit while I wait for my meds, in the back and out of the way of shoppers. They have good specials, like other CVS stores; plenty of parking, high profile area. read more

This is a review that's based on over two years of dealing with this pharmacy. They are hard press to to get even the most basic procedures correct. Any changes and they go into a tailspin which enviably means a second trip to the pharmacy after they have time to figure out how to do their job or call someone to tell them how to do it. Ask then to change your insurance providers, update a prescription, add a person or secondary insurance and they act like you're speaking Greek. And yes, they usually end up getting it worked out but I'm asking for the answers to the universe, how hard is it to do your job? So why have I continued my patronage? I work late hours and they are the only 24 hr pharmacy that takes Tri-care plus their app helps makes things flow a littler smoother. My advice is use the Walgreen's down the street if you're not military. If they would work out their issues with Tri-care I'd use them. read more
