This was hands down the worst service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy. The staff in the pharmacy department were incredibly rude, impatient, and acted like they couldn't care less about helping. It felt like I was bothering them just by asking a question. If you have the option to go to a different pharmacy, I highly recommend you do. CVS seriously needs to reevaluate their pharmacy staff -- a full replacement wouldn't be a bad idea. I won't be coming back. read more

Pharmacy is rude and unprofessional. My doctor sent in antibiotics and an inhaler for my daughter. She went in to inquire if her medication was ready and they told her it wasn't received. She called our doctor back and they confirmed they sent it to the correct pharmacy and location. Still the pharmacist said it wasn't there. We waited and kept checking and she just kept saying they don't have it even though we had the doctor on the line confirming it was in fact sent. My doctor finally sends it to another CVS location and they say the other CVS has it filled. Just a mess. I finally go to the CVS on Slauson and they transfer the meds to their location and I'll have them filled by 2pm. Thankfully that CVS was willing to help and get my daughter the meds she needs. Don't work as a pharmacist if you're not willing to research for the better needs of your customers. You're fucking with people's health! Mind you, it was never about having my daughter's meds ready instantaneously, it was simply your lack of due diligence to verify information since your customer was having issues. Unlike the other CVS that was busier than yours and still took the time to help resolve the issue. Do better. And don't expect the customers not to return your asshole behavior! read more

Worst customer service I've ever had. Not only do I get the go around at 3 lines. They had me say out loud my reason for being here and full name. You give an ID for a reason and you have a screen that gives you that information for a reason. Anyone in healthcare should know that is a violation of privacy. This place needs some re-education. I forgot my inhaler at work, I needed it pretty bad, when I went in, he immediately put my order together and had my entire prescription (from another store) to me within 3 minutes. Friendly staff that tries their hardest to fill my prescriptions in a timely manner even when they're super busy. They are always polite. Don't hesitate to ask my favorite pharmacist, Wayne, any questions you might have. The other pharmacists are nice too, but Wayne is always happy to answer all of my questions about new medication and you can tell he loves making sure his customers are taken care of. =) read more

I have been coming to this CVS for years as I live around the corner and I specifically come to the Pharmacy for both of my parents prescriptions. The pharmacy customer service is horrible. There really is no point in having a drive thru pharmacy if they take up to 30 or more minutes per car and once you reach the window the staff is rude. I have tried to avoid the drive thru if I see more than 2 cars waiting but the wait time is no different if you go inside. They are constantly understaffed. I just moved to this area and on three different occasions hours have passed and when I try to pick up my prescription they have a BS excuse as to why my prescription isn't ready for pick-up. Pretty good CVS in the area.. Nice and clean, and the pharmacy staff is always very professional.

This is right off Washington Blvd, next to Pep Boys. I would say the location and easy walk up access work bets for this place. I also noticed they had two cashiers working the front which is great. There were no self check out counters which I liked. I think at the more busier stores they have those which is fine by me. I actually like having a clerk scan and bag my goods before I buy them. The clerks here were helpful and smiling asking if I needed anything else. I think the location of this place works in its favor, There is a Steak Corral, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and gas station all within one block of this CVS. There were no wierdo's walking or milling around like some Walgreens or other CVS's. read more

This pharmacy is a headache! I have the exact same complaints as the hidden reviews! The wait time is ridiculous, and when they answer the phone they are very rude and sarcastic. Sometimes, I have to come here with a prescription for a controlled substance. And it's a nightmare! The first time I came here, I was told I would have to wait an hour, so, I did! Then when I went and waited in the driveway (total of 30 mins in the driveway) I was told that it still wasn't ready. She's like come back in another 15-20 mins. I waited 30 mins just to be safe, and when I went back through he driveway I was told that it STILL wasn't ready. I spoke my mind to her telling her that I waited a total time of 2 hours and a half and that it's not ok for them to tell you a time and it's not ready. Needless to say I showed her the text from now 15 mins ago saying my medicine was ready as she laughs and says it's going to be another 5 mins.. pull around and we'll have it ready .. (there were now 4 cars behind me) so, I went inside and there were at least 7 people in line. They were all saying the exact same thing. I think the lady (fat, short, Hispanic chick) is doing this on purpose. When I finally got to the counter (another 25 mins) she was joking about everyone's wait time and saying that there was nothing she could do about the wait. (There were tons of medications packed already for pick up) I couldn't take pictures unfortunately because there were too many cameras and I wanted to get my medicine. This place needs a lot of work and the current people need to be fired. Theyre all slow and inconsiderate. They wont do their jobs and they force you to pay out of pocket for medicines that your insurance company covers! I've had so many run ins about this with this pharmacy. I'm going to be switching pharmacies after filing a complaint with corporate about them. read more

I made one in hoping to use the extra bucks reward for second purchase...well it didn't go as smoothly as i thought since the coupon was sent electronically to email but after Jose looked in to it,we figured it out. Soooo frustrated with their pharmacy the last 2 times I have had to go through a big ordeal to get my anxiety medication which in turn made me even more anxious lol both times my drs office called in my prescriptions on a Friday (my dr is only in on Friday and sat) and both times they've claimed they never received anything till days later. The first time I had to ask the pharmacy tech "can you please just double check?" And sure enough they had it they claimed it wasn't in their computer so they didn't know....and this time (here as we speak) I again had the refill sent over on Friday and here we are on a Tuesday and it took me coming in because of course over the phone it was the same story "can you have your dr call us?". Again the pharmacy tech said there's nothing here for me and this time I had to get a little rude to make her go check again and of course I over hear the pharmacist say "oh yeah that was here since yesterday". And again the tech claimed there was nothing in their computer. So CVS on Washington blvd PLEASE get your shit together..most of your pharmacy staff is very nice but this can't happen again it's extremely stressful read more

Totally unprofessional. They didn't have one of my prescriptions and didn't even think to mention it. They just checked me out and sent me out the door without warning. Now I'm really screwed because it was something I needed and my doc is closed. Rather than handle the issue heads up when they found out they were out and contact me so I could work on alternate options they put their heads in the sand and hoped I didn't notice. Well i noticed that the halloween things were on sale so i bought some cupcake stuff which said 2 for $5.00, when the manager rang it up they were $2.99, so i said i thought they were on sale? Called three CVS's today(Washington Blvd., Whittier Blvd., and Mills Ave.) Wow! I'm so dissappointed in CVS and their pharmacy customer service. I work for a private doctor and was calling in medications for three different patients(who were in surgery). Only one location had the medications requested. All three pharmacists were impatient, not helpful at all, and made me feel as if I were infringing on them by asking for help. On the store side, I have almost always received great customer service, but I have noticed a decline in the pharmacy side for the last 6 months. Today just confirmed my thoughts. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, or simply indifferent to customer's needs. read more

This is my neighborhood CVS store. I love that they carry Spaklettes ice in a bag that contains 3 little bags. These smaller bags fit better in my freezer. They have everything a little pharmacy store should have. The customer service is friendly and helpful. read more
