The pharmacy is a joke. My husband waited about 15 minutes in a very long line and then the tech announces their system is down so everyone had to leave. I tried calling the next day to cancel the prescription and you can't even talk to anyone. We have 2 phone numbers and the robot wouldn't even put me through if I did not give the correct number. It is very frustrating. The robot claimed someone would call back within an hour. I don't believe it. I would give this pharmacy negative stars if I could. They just lost 2 customers. read more

The lady's up front are rude. They turn away clients because of "their lunch". It apparently takes two people to have a lunch break and close the whole pharmacy. If there's two people on staff, the pharmacy should still be running (take turns) people's medications should take priority. Shooing people away seems like you don't want to do the job you get paid for. Don't worry they will be back @2:00 everyone! Don't go here if you expect good customer service. read more

I don't know if CVS has a gulag system, but I get the feeling that the more difficult of CVS employees are sent to this store as punishment. I've had several different antibiotic prescriptions sent to this store after a visit to a medical facility, and each time, there's been a significant delay in getting the prescription filled: in two different cases (and for different reasons), the infection became serious -- once, to the point where the delay almost required me to be hospitalized for IV antibiotic treatment. It wasn't a matter of insurance problems, though that is what the pharmacy staff initially blamed to cause the delay. One other time, the staff changed the prescribed drug for a generic one although the doctor was very specific about the antibiotic, needed to treat a specific bacteria (which the other antibiotic was poorly suited to combat in my experience. The change of the medication required a lot of administrative posturing on the part of CVS, and once again, I was forced to wait for them to fill the prescription as written -- at considerable medical risk. It took me two days to contract my doctor, have a new prescription sent to a different pharmacy, and by that time, I risked hospitalization. Again. Worst of all, the pharmacy staff is very difficult to work with. One pharmacist made statements about veterans which I found unthinkable -- and detestable. No wonder why veterans have such significant problems getting their prescriptions filled here. Worse, the clerk who takes the prescriptions from customers asks down to people, is rude and surely. I've watched her be mean to people... seriously rude, condescending, and disrespectful. People coming to the pharmacy aren't always at their best -- and I imagine that encountering this individual must make their day even worse. I refuse to have my prescriptions filled here. In fact, I'd rather drive 35+ miles to a different pharmacy or drug store than to purchase anything at CVS. read more

Went in to buy some razors and travel shampoo. Saw razors specifically tagged at $6.99 regular $10.49. Tried to use the self checkout system and of course the regular price came up. Absolutely no way to cancel the transaction so I pushed the "need assistance " button. Nobody coming to help for quite some time. Finally the clerk behind the counter sees the flashing lights and comes over. I told her I can't cancel the transaction and noted the wrong price. She said yes, you can't but I can. Now we go to the counter to finish the transaction. She checked the tag for $6.99 on the bin containing the razors and rang it up. Of course, wrong price. She said well you will still get the discount price. I had some CVS coupons which she put in the system. The "system " doesn't want to accept the CVS coupons. Now I have been here for a good half hour already. She calls over a younger female to help her, mentions that the $6.99 price is not working. After more fiddling around they find the tag is not for those razors and the younger female says, "customers move stuff around all the time"and we won't give you the $6.99 price! That's when I said "keep your stuff and the coupons too". Unfortunately there isn't any competition in Wickenburg for drug stores so it will be Amazon from now on! read more

As my tip suggests, I USED to use CVS for film processing and development. Because I can't think of any better way to review a CVS, I'm gonna do it like this: Reasons to GO to CVS: -wanting of-the-moment beauty supply, generally in stock -needing seasonal decorations (Christmas, Halloween, Easter) -requiring large(r) selection of beauty products or medical products Reasons to NOT go to CVS: -terrible film processing, both instant and 1HR or next day. Expensive and poor quality. They do not process or send out for matte prints. -EVERYTHING is more expensive at CVS. I can't think of a funny example right now. -during the evening, the front is almost never staffed and you have to wait. -the parking lot is creepy. Sigh. It's like an expensive Wal*Mart. And that's no compliment. read more

I have been using this CVS Pharmacy since 9/2016. There is only one person behind the pharmacy counter who always greets customers with a smile and usually remembers your first name, too! She is kind no matter how busy they may be. NOW 5/2018: CVS Pharmacy has changed their rules on when they will fill your prescriptions and it's penalizing those of us that do not abuse our meds. Even though I've been going in monthly for 18 months, a regular, they won't fill my prescriptions when I'm allowed to have them filled by my insurance. CVS makes you wait 30 - 32 days between refills! It becomes inconvenient and at times I'm out of medicine and have to go without until I reach "their time allowance," whatever it may be, and that's frustrating and wrong to do to someone who does not abuse their meds! I DO NOT like to be treated as though I'm a drug addict/abuser when I'm not! And to have only one nice, pleasant person behind that counter is sad. So, I've transferred ALL my prescriptions to Basha's Pharmacy in Wickenburg. Everyone I've dealt with there has treated me with respect and kindness, the way a pharmacy should treat a customer. CVS of Wickenburg you've lost my pharmacy business! Thank you to the one nice girl behind your counter, but otherwise your new rules are ridiculous! You know who's abusing their prescriptions so don't punish all of us because of a few! read more

During the week, everyone is kind and helpful in the pharmacy department. On the weekend, the lady cashier in the pharmacy department was rude to just about everyone waiting for prescriptions. She needs to change her attitude or find another job. I wasn't even there to pick up a prescription, I was picking up vitamins. There were several elderly women and an elderly gentleman who never spoke an unkind word to her. Shameful. read more

Treated very badly by the Pharmacy Tech working the window earlier this afternoon. Not sure why she was mad other than I said my phone # had changed and I gave it to the person who answered the phone last week after checking to see if they received my prescription. They still had the old # and I said that's probably why I didn't get a call or text saying my prescription was ready. She asked for the new # and pounded on the monitor entering it. I asked what the problem was and she said have a nice day in an angry tone and walked away. Why would I ever go back there? read more

I showed up right at 8 am because I really needed supplies. I walked up to the door and it was closed but hours says open at 8 am. Soon after a bunch more people walk up and it was closed still at 8:20. Why not open when you say you're going to? I'll take my business to Safeway then. read more

The Pharmacy area has zero customer service skills and poor organizational skills. I only visit about once a month but every time they act like they are doing you a favor. They never have a helpful attitude when there are minor issues like pick up time and what your insurance might pay for. I have never seen the "not a Pharmacist" lady smile. Today it broke the camels back for me. After waiting in the pick up line for 15 minutes while someone was having a long discussion that should have taken place in the drop off line; the "not a Pharmacist" lady waited on another customer then brushed me back and waited on the long discussion customer. CVS website does not have customer feedback. And a phone number on the site for "help" has bankers hours. read more
