We have been watching the construction progress of this new Maverik each time we pass through Wickenburg. Been looking forward to another option for gas and food on our way to Las Vegas. Well, we were pleasantly surprised to find it open on our most recent trip to visit my dad. We stopped in, used the restroom, grabbed some cold drinks, and some snacks. We had just filled up on gas in Kingman so we skipped topping off this time, but the pumps looked pretty standard for a Maverik. We will try them out on our next visit. We used the self-checkout and got some instant savings on our purchases. The clerk was super friendly as he checked on us and even offered us a bag for our purchases. As a regular visitor to the area and beyond, I am super happy to have a new place to stop. The town otherwise really only has a couple of old Shell stations along this stretch of the road. Maveriks are always a great place to stop for fuel, drinks, and snacks and their rewards program is top notch. Check it out if you're in the area. read more

It's a gas station. Can you get gas there? Yes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Is the inside clean? Mostly, yes...bathrooms not the best though.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food stocked? If you go on the right day. Might you also get into a fender bender in the parking lot? Also yes. poorly designed lot. I tend to avoid it if I can now since more stations have popped up in the area. Where do I start? The first time I went in for a fountain drink and I'm driving right?So I need a cup with a lid.I fill it up no lids.I can't have this drink.It's going to spill.It's an extra extra large with no lid.Can't do it.. so I leave it. Then I go open a bag of corn chips into the basket go to put chili on it NO chili completely empty and dirty. So I tried the cheese nope, no cheese, it spits out a tiny little bit every time I pushed the button. So I had to leave that on the counter as well.. Now i'm sixty one years old , I have gray hair and I do not look like I'm under 21 , but you want my ID to buy cigarettes not my Date of birth, you need to SEE my ID.. now I waited in LINE for about 10 minutes. Finally, when I get there, I have to go back out to my car to get my Driver's license? Stopped in last Saturday morning for fuel and found pump hose and nozzle was leaking a small amount while pumping the fuel. That explained the diesel spell on the ground around pump #3. Went inside to let the clerk know about it, little did I know he was not having a good morning. It was busy so that might explain his response to me when I was just letting him know about it. Instead of just saying thank you and recording the issue, he said he didn't know what I expected him to do about it as he didn't have time to deal with it. Front counter employee could be a little friendlier and focused on customer service. Bottom line I like Maverik so I will continue to shop there, Ill just avoid that employee. read more

This is a new place. I'm going to update this again once they get past growing pains. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is nice and clean and a huge step up from Circle K.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The problem is with the food. There is almost never food in the afternoon. I've been here 3 times and there is never a Hot Dog on the rollers. How hard is it to have hot dogs? You have a decked out fixings bar, with nothing to put the fixings on. The management needs to do checks and make sure food is available. read more

Stopped at Maverik Gas Station on Sunday night (1/18) and had a really bad experience. The guy working had a serious attitude for no reason at all. I was polite and just trying to make a quick purchase, but he acted annoyed and rude the entire time. Ugh if I could give 0 I would! Absolutely terrible customer service at this Maverick, especially in the evenings. Every time I've stopped here, the staff seems completely uninterested and unhelpful. Last night was no different - slow service, and not even a basic 'hello' or 'thank you.' and it's always the same guy. It's really disappointing when you just want to grab gas and a snack, and you're met with such a lack of basic courtesy. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Well, it's a Maverick, what can I say? They all tend to follow the same format.. But it's a GOOD format. Low fuel prices, plenty of pumps, snacks and other goodies, ample restrooms, ok staff. If I'm out somewhere and I have a choice of Maverick or 'something else' I always choose Maverick and I'm yet to be disappointed. read more

Stopped at Mavericks Adventure. Not a bad place to stop on a long road trip. We stopped in and bought some Hot dogs and chips. I purchased several bottles of waters and filled up our soda drinks. Looks like the Wild Wild West rest stops. All sorts of junk food here. Snacks and good stuff. Nice people work here. Good to see their gas prices coming down! For the past few weeks, the fuel here costs LESS than it does in the Phoenix area... which is always good news. The bad news: their ice is still the most expensive in town, so we purchased a home ice maker -- and it's no longer an issue for us. I do like the people who work here, a very good crew. read more

Always try to stop at a Maverick when you can. To keep it simple: If you're on a road trip and need to stop for the bathroom, look for a Maverick! Very clean! read more

If you have both a strip and a chip on your credit card, you may or may not have to go inside to pay for gas at the pump. The clerk told me it depends on whether one or both of their wifi servers is down, or working, I forget. Trying to gain customers by giving them a worse experience than other stations. They almost always have the cheapest gas in Wickenburg, inside is always clean. Workers are nice, it's new so everything is in good condition read more
