Went in for a COVID test, but the place was a hot mess! After no one was at the Minute Clinic counter and one person just walked by without saying a word, I did in the background see a kiosk to get an appointment. Filled out the form and was then told appointment was no longer available. Then went to the pharmacy counter and was told they didn't do tests, but I could buy a self-test at checkout. Save yourself the aggravation and never get prescriptions filled at this location. They routinely lose refill authorizations from doctors and then blame it on the doctor. If you try to talk to a person on the phone, you will be on hold for over 20 minutes no matter what time of day you call. Then, if you go to the pharmacy in person to ask about a prescription, the staff is rude and have an attitude as if you're bothering them. read more

I have frequently used this pharmacy. The level of professionalism expected was lacking. I observed pharmacy employees arguing in public and made no effort to go behind closed doors to resolve. It was apparent the other employees were as uncomfortable as the customers. I have always lived by the management philosophy, praise in public and criticize in private. Checked in 15 minutes before my vaccination appointment and was kept waiting an additional 20 minutes to be seen

I feel either they're either closed or the wait is extremely long. The people I've had interaction with have been short and not very friendly. The only one friendly I've talked to was the blonde cashier who checks you out. I waited over 20 min in the drive through today. All in all, less then satisfied! read more

This location (1600 Richmond Rd) is ridiculous! I wanted to transfer a prescription that was in Richmond, VA and they refused to do it. They told me to get Richmond to do it and Richmond said they can do it. I got the runaround! I also had prescriptions that were sent their and they never filled it. So I ended up going to the CVS on Merrimac Trail. They transferred my prescription in seconds and my doc re-sent my prescription to that location with no issues. They do have trouble sometimes with not having enough employees to work the pharmacy but they are much friendlier over there for sure. read more

My husband had surgery, meds were called in way before we left the hospital, got to the the pharmacy and they were not ready, had to take my husband home and leave him alone while I came back to the pharmacy and had to continue to wait almost 2 hours longer for a total of about 5 hours read more

I would normally have given them more stars because most of the staff are fast, friendly and accommodating. I've only had to deal with this particular pharmacist twice, thank God! She has been a rude, condescending WENCH both times. I understand that they are all short staffed and overworked, but that's no excuse to treat anyone like that, let alone your customers. Most of the time these people are very attentive to customer needs. Recently they helped when I forgot to get medicines on a trip and they took care of the situation, I really appreciated they're help and assistance. That was my local pharmacy, now the CVS that was located where I was vacationing was terrible, that was in Williamburg, Va. I will never go there again!! The worst CVS I have ever been to. We are in Williamsburg on vacation. My wife takes prescription pain meds for a chronic condition. Her prescription had to be filled during our vacation. We were treated awful on April 5th and April 6th. We have been dealing with CVS and these medications since 2008 and never have we had such rude service. read more

Being dealing with this pharmacy since they first open. You got white Karen's and black Karen's working in there . The Pharmacist shows no respect neither do the cashier. I called to check if my meds was ready , and I was told that I needed to come into the pharmacy and to speak to the pharmacist about my prescription that I have been taking for years. Having difficult walking, I told her that I was only coming to the window because of that problem, she said okay just let the cashier know when I get there. Go to the pharmacy ,with a long line of cars in front of me I elected to wait until I could get my order. Get to the window and the black Karen was a little rude telling me that I had to come into the store and talk to the pharmacist I explain to her that the pharmacist told me it was okay to come to the window and she would come to me, she rudely said well she is giving ejections you will have to come around and come in I told her no I will wait , so Black-Karen, says very impolitely if you want to wait -wait then ,so that's what I did .I gave her my card to pay for my med's . She walks off , finally the rude pharmacist who name I did not see talked to me like I was beneath her, stupid or whatever came and explain something about my med's that I have been taking for years to me. (No problem ),Black Karen return back to the register ,open the drawer ,I get my medications and my bank card, don't say a word when I asked her was that all , SLAMS the drawer shut and walks off. Worst experience ever with the "Karen" pharmacist at this location. I gave a prescription from my veterinarian and she proceeded to disparage my vet by saying that she didn't know what she was doing and that it's breaking the law by not having a wet signature. I had no issue having to go back but her attitude toward my vet was totally unprofessional and rude and I told her so. I told her call the vet and get it figured out so I didn't have to go back and forth. She told me I could go somewhere else. My thoughts at this moment was "Really?" At that point I lost my composure and called her EXACTLY what I thought of her. My advice is to not use this pharmacy at all costs. Went in to pick up a prescription after trying several times to reach them by phone. No one ever answered the phone after repeated tries. Went in and saw (6) employees working. First of all, lady that was at register didn't bother with a hello or how can I help you. She just said "Name, birth date". When she asked the pharmacist if she had seen my prescriptions, the tall female pharmacist replied only "Nothing has come through". When I said that I had been trying to call, the pharmacist was extremely rude and replied that she was doing the best she could and was on the phone currently. Hard to believe since she clearly wasn't on the phone but had time to be extremely rude. It's no surprise the rest of the pharmacy staff is so comfortable being rude to customers. I was given misinformation from the nurse, Deanna Weeks, at this CVS Minute Clinic. My wife and I needed to get vaccinations, and we were told that our health insurance would cover 100% of the costs. Two months later I received a bill from CVS Minute Clinic that my insurance did not cover the costs and CVS says I owe $321! I blame this both on CVS and my health insurance provider, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. Before I went to CVS I called member services at Harvard Pilgrim and the customer service representative told me that the vaccinations would be covered at 100%, and I would owe nothing. read more

Can I give 1/2 a star? Oh my gosh! I called this CVS out of state asking about a narcotic to be filled while I will be on vacation in Williamsburg, VA. I have used this CVS many times in the past years. The woman who answered the phone was INCREDIBLY RUDE! I wish I had gotten her name. She snapped at me about her other patients who needed the same drug first, and they've been waiting, and they will get the drug first. I had no problem with what she was saying. it was the rude snappiness that I had a problem with. No customer should be treated that way. There was a point when she was ranting so loudly, I couldn't even get a word in. I asked about other pharmacies in the area, and she began to lecture me about God knows what! Upon that point I hung up the phone In shock of what just happened.
