Forget about ordering a pizza 90 minute wait time . If you're going to sell pizzas then make an effort or stop. The public deserves better.

We live right next store to this location and drive by a few hundred times a year. Have not been in this location for about 4 years. Went in today and got reminded of why we no longer go. I asked a lady that was standing doing nothing for assistance and she said "I dont work in that department" Picked up a pizza, loaf of bread, 6 pieces of chicken, two 6 piece sushi rolls and some chips and dip and it totaled $75.00, these people have lost their minds. Get Walmart delivery for the same items for $45.00. If you want great service go to the self check out where they watch every person as if they were stealing, so eager to help you to make sure you scan every item but refuse to help you find the items. This place is absolutely the worst customer service on earth. Wasted of our VALUABLE time....and donated to the Billion Dollar Company...by the way, they are owned by Kroger, if you were wondering why Kroger is closing over 60 locations in the US it's so Haris Teeter can rob you blind. read more

This store was great! Clean, well stocked and super friendly service. I wish there was a Harris Teeter in my home town.

The pharmacist named Anna came to my rescue...and she was on her BREAK!!!! I asked her to take my blood pressure because I felt dizzy while getting a few things. Well, she was better than any Dr. I have seen. Not because she diagnosed me, it's because she CARED!!!! She is the real deal for sure, she told more about blood pressure than I ever knew, and I'm 84 years old. In this strange world you hardly come across people like her, and that's better than any diagnoses. If only we had more people like her. read more

This Harris Teeter is located in Lightfoot Marketplace. Make sure to make a VIC card (loyalty card) in order to get the discounts on sale items (and if you want to use points at their gas station)! Yes-- they also have a gas station that's near the Panera. They also have a Starbucks that accepts mobile orders! It's very clean and organized. I feel like during prime times (e.g., after work), they could add a few more open check out lines to deal with the crowd. The prices aren't the cheapest but I feel like they have decent quality products. They carry "The Real Good" products which I like. Staff members are nice and I've never had an issue regarding customer service. read more

Im really happy with the quality of this particular HT's produce department. Its always clean, neat and stocked, and there is always at least one employee around if you have a question. This store is my go to, although I think I will skip it after 8 ish pm. This is because checking out does become a bit of a hassle. Most nights multiple lanes are lit, but there are no employees at the registers. I have no problem with self checkout, but 9 times out of 10 something happens that requires an employee ..... sooooo hmm. read more

Great selection of picnic type foods for day trips in the area. Fun variety of berries & fruit. Lots of cheeses. The oven baked cheese was SO GOOD. Also, try Jeni's ice cream. The best I've had store bought. The berry & cake varieties are delicious. We've bought four pints in the past week & might get more before heading back to California. It's that good. read more

Store does not follow mask mandate. 30 seconds in the store I saw 5 people without masks. I left and went to Publix. Don't chance it, shop at a store that cares about your safety. read more

What a wonderful experience. I was in the area running errands and needed to go in here. Wow. Their customer service was on point and then some. So many friendly and helpful staff. I have to send some serious kudos to the deli guys though. Two young men who were more friendly and helpful than I can ever expect. Love it! read more

Products are great, BUT the prices seem a bit high! We enjoy finding good, healthy food at grocers and I felt like they had that covered. I'm still on the hunt though for a price product match that works best for our lifestyle. read more

Harris Teeter is an upscale version of Kroger (which owns Harris Teeter), and has great produce and excellent brand choices. Unfortunately, there is not a Kroger in Williamsburg, but Harris Teeter is a great substitute. read more

Great store, not the cheapest, but the best selection of products around. Staff is friendly, store is neat and clean, they even carry ground bison! You won't find that in the food store with the cat (think Lion). They have a pharmacy, a good selection of gluten free and organic foods, and they carry Ukrops prepared foods which is a demand item in this area. read more

The other Harris teeter in town is great; alas, this one is NOT. Every single time I go there are massive lines at checkout with only one or two registers open. The online ordering would be wonderful- if they ever got around to coming to deliver the groceries. I have sat for over 20 minutes at the pickup station waiting for someone to bring the groceries out. At that point, it's easier to go in and do the shopping myself. They desperately need new management. read more

I have NEVER had a positive experience at this store. Aside from the fact you can't find a parking place unless you're in a protected class, the checkout lines are ridiculouson . On a recent visit I waited 15 minutes for a cashier. Even the self checkout lines were backed up. I hate shopping at this store. Not enough bargains to be worth my time. read more

Checkout lines are awful. The self checkout is bad as well. When the machines have issues they put a small sign over the cash input slot that says debit/credit card only at this machine. Of course you only see that after you scan your items and are ready to pay. so then I put my M/C credit card in since I couldn't use cash and it asks for a PIN. I tell the clerk my card has no PIN and he looks, sees it is a MC brand and tells me they don't accept MC unless they have PINs. Really? I left my stuff there, forget this place. read more

WOW. I have never had such excellent customer service. I called the store on the way to pick up a script that I needed tonight because I wasn't sure of if they closed at 8 or 9. I got the main line and was transferred to David the pharmacist who verified they close at 8 and it was 8:30pm and he had already locked it up and was leaving when he heard a call for pharmacy and went back just to answer!! He spoke to me very kindly and he was even willing to fill the script for me but I told him it was already ready and he said well come on in I'll open to give it to you! WOW this customer service is unheard of and I absolutely love my Harris teeter in lightfoot pharmacy! Exceptional and unheard of these days for anyone to go out of their way out of the kindness of his heart to make sure I got my medication tonight! Thank you David! read more

We've been shopping at this Harris Teeter since opening day. My husband and I went in this morning to do our usual weekly grocery shopping and when we got up to the registers there was a very rude woman named Sandy directing traffic. There really was no one in line, even though I'm sure it's been crazy busy lately. My husband and I went around someone else who had picked their own line unbeknownst by Sandy because she was chatting with someone else. When she turned around and saw us, she automatically assumed we were cutting the line. When we went around her, Sandy pointed out to that customer, loudly so we could hear her, that we went around her and basically cut in front of her. We are the type of people that would never ever intentionally do that to anyone. In fact I tried to explain and she started "scolding" me loudly. The woman who was in line looked at Sandy with a look of "what are you talking about"? Sandy continued to lecture us loudly about waiting until she instructed us where to go. We don't have a problem with trying to keep order, we just have a problem with her scolding a customer. Someone with more tact should be monitoring the line. It's disappointing because the staff at the deli, stocking shelves, and Alexia at the cash register were cheerful and helpful. read more

I enjoyed my first visit to the new Harris Teeter. Clean and refreshing store. We did use the Pizza Bar, and was greeted by a friendly employee. 10 minutes later, a piping hot pizza to go! I also got some fresh fruit and some odds and ends. I am a fan. read more

We found that the pharmacists at this store were too busy to help us. They were also quite rude.

Tried HT again today. At 11:45 on a Saturday morning the aisles were cluttered with people stocking shelves and their products.This can't be done at some other time? The self-checkout line was long. There was one very long line for the regular registers blocking the aisle entrances. Blueberries were advertised on the front of the current flyer. They did not exist. Left my cart and went somewhere else. read more

The staff is friendly, and the Starbucks in this location are especially helpful, friendly, and accurate on their orders!

I had missed the "Big Y" supermarket back in Massachusetts. So it was a bit of a challenge to find a supermarket that matched up to it. Well, I am pretty please with Harris Teeter. My husband is hooked on the chicken they make. What I have found though is some of their items with their name on it, is quite good! Also, I see sales on items I actually do use- I kid you not! Parking is quite open, not cramped! Make sure you get the discount card. One thing I see them improving on but would like it even more, is more registers open, especially at dinner time hours when many of us get off work. My husband uses very colorful words under his breath if we use the self checkout, so we rather wait in line for a cashier. read more
