RUDE Pharmacy Staff Members. My children have special needs and a butt load of prescriptions. We just moved here and I attempted to fill just 3 of the bunch. The staff could not get the transfer correct. Trying to charge me for rx that insurance should pay for. The CVS in our previous city always pushed everything through, no problem, but this CVS is unwilling to do any leg work to figure out whats wrong and why an out-of-pocket charge is appearing. Rude staff. Won't be coming here again. Shame on your laziness CVS on Chardon Rd!
UPDATE: Wow, this place and the girls that work here are unbelievable. I go there at 8:45 when I was promised my rx would be done at 8. The tech says, "its not ready, you can try again tomorrow. WHAT? Then... I come back... and they screw up my child's prescription, not once, but TWICE! They messed up his meds and shelved it when it had to be refrigerated per manufacturer instructions. They didn't even realize their mistake, my husband saw the tech take it from the storage bin and told her it has to be refrigerated. She looked at him like he was speaking french? Huh? So she brought it to the attention of the pharmacist and the pharmacist said they would re order it and it would be back in tomorrow. Wellllll... I go BACK... again... and give the same tech (I don't know her name, she's Indian... younger) my sons information. And guess what? She PULLS IT FROM THE SHELF... AGAIN! I said, "Um it needs to be refrigerated" She replies, "What? It's not insulin". SERIOUSLY? What is Insulin the only medication they taught you in school that needs to be in the fridge??? She then asks the pharmacist and pharmacist rudely says "Ya, okay, we'll have to order it". I told them that my son needs it for his dose tonight. Her reply (the pharmacist)? "Well, we close at 6 and can't help you, but I guess I could call another CVS and see if they have it in stock." Unfreakingbelievable. The brat of a tech started calling other CVS's. All the while, their phones ringing off the hook and the tech says "God, it's almost 6, do they ever stop bugging us?" Out loud. For all the customers to hear. Wow. Anyway, she finds another local CVS that has the med in stock and tells me to go there. I confirm with her... are you sure I'm all set? With an attititude and NEVER an apology, she replies, "Yea, you can go!" Like she was shooing away a mangy cat?? I gladly leave the store only to go to the other CVS and realize from their tech that the stupid tech at CVS on Chardon road kept the med "on hold" and therefore they can't fill my script. The tech at the good CVS says "She should have known better". Sigh, yup, she should have. They were very kind at this new CVS (Euclid. Lakeshore) and made a way to fix Chardon road's mistake. I will be moving all my prescriptions to the Euclid location. read more
