My doctor has sent CVS Youngsville the same prescription, twice. It seems that it was somehow "lost". Both yesterday and today I left a message to contact me. No response. You can not speak with the staff, only leave a message. I will drive there tomorrow to see what's going on. Not expecting a satisfactory result. read more

We've stopped in this location a handful of times, always had a decent shopping experience. The store is a bit smaller than some of the other local CVS locations, but clean and neat. Parking lot has plenty of spaces and this store is located right off of Capital Blvd. Employees have been friendly when I've gone in. I did have an issue with a prescription once, so I continue to visit the Roosevelt CVS by the seminary as they know me and there's never been an issue there. This location is good for a last minute item, quick convenience store purchase. I ran in to grab bug spray a few weeks ago, prices were a bit high but I have always felt CVS tends to gouge customers on prices, compared to Walgreens or Dollar General. read more

I have to agree with the past statements made regarding the pharmacy. Most recently I went there to go get a prescription for my wife, and was advised by the pharmacist assistant that I had no insurance. I advised her that I've been a client of CVS for years and in the past there has been no issues regarding my insurance. Yet she insisted that I had no insurance.The pharmacist behind the deck was listening to the entire conversation and took no action whatsoever. And every time I looked at him he would be looking down at whatever he was doing or pretending to do something. I would strongly suggest but not using the CVS location if indeed you're looking for a pharmacy. If you want to get frustrated annoyed and this is the place to go to. Just an FYI I took the same prescription and went down to the CVS pharmacy in downtown Wake Forest. They were extremely helpful and very apologetic for the other pharmacists lack of attention and cooperation and professionalism. Every time I come here to pick up a prescription they tell you to come back like two or three hours later. When you're sick you don't feel like coming back you just want to get your prescription and go home. It never fails! They never have your prescription ready. If they have that many customers perhaps they should hire more people. I'm going to Walgreens from now on. read more

I recently transferred my scripts from Food Lion in Raleigh, to which I never had any problems or delays. Since moving to Youngsville my elderly in laws and their many scripts it would be much easier to do business at a local pharmacy. Boy was that a big mistake, they call and tell me my scripts are ready and once I arrive at the store they say they have none ready nor have I have any available for refill. This didnt happen just once but three times. So in an effort to get to the root of the problem I call my PC and ask them to send copies of my refills to CVS Youngsvile and their response was we did this back in July and it was to cover my scripts until December. So once again I go into CVS and explain the situation to the girl at the counter and she AGAIN says we have no scripts for you. By this time I have had enough and transferred my 5 scripts to Harris Teeter who filled my script in two days,and one of those days was them calling my PC to make sure they had all my scripts and they were available for refiles. CVS you could have done this, I am in the process of convincing my wife to transfer her parents scripts to Harris Teeter. They have about 15 scripts that Im sure Harris Teeter can fill for them. The pharmacy itself is clean and well kept. The store is smaller than most of CVS's but the selection of items is still good. The pharmacists and pharm techs leave a lot to be desired. The pharmacist out of nowhere will put holds on prescriptions even though my Dr. has ordered them to be immediately filled. I have good insurance. I used to call and explain the situation and the pharmacist would take off the holds. I am now tired of being treated so rudely. I will now transfer all my prescriptions to Walgreens or another CVS. This is the only pharmacy where I have had issues. Bye-bye. read more

People working in the pharmacy have been very rude to my husband and I both, whether it was in person or on the phone. Getting short and raising their voices to customers. Most recently, in the middle of my asking a question, she just left the line 15 minutes ago and never returned. Rude & Disrespectful employees! read more

I have been into this cvs many times and the people who work the front are great. They are friendly and very helpful. However the pharmacy staff are the worst I have ever encountered anywhere. I was looking for something on the vitamin isle and could not locate it. I asked the girl in the pharmacy where I might find it. She kept telling me it was on the vitamin isle. She repeated this to me again several times and my frustration grew. One of the other pharmacist noticed my frustration and told me that the product I was looking for was not sold over the counter. There have been a few other occasions where pharmacy staff was rude,short,etc. I am pretty laid back and never in a hurry, but I have had it with this location. I will shop the front but will never have a prescription filled there again. read more

My husband was just at the pharmacy. The Pharmacist was on the phone. He didn't acknowledge the customer in front of my husband. She left after waiting. My husband standing in front of the Pharmacist. He stayed on the phone again not acknowledging him. My husband had a clerk come up to him and he explained what he needed. She didn't take the time to listen and ignored him. He left disgusted and won't be back there again. CVS, you lost a customer. read more

the wait is long and sometimes there are a few rude people in the parm tech area and they cut you off when you speaking and they do not go out of their way to reach my doctors.......... like walgreens will i will be switchng back to walgreens even if im going to pay more they do have an unpleaseant additude when speaking with clients like me terrible even this morning while im writing this review........sad but true read more

Interesting that there were many negative reviews. I have been using this pharmacy for years for family Rx's which are pretty regular, and although there was one exception on a very busy day where I felt the service was shockingly bad (even under stress the best rise to the occasion), I have otherwise always experienced great service here. Someone in the reviews before mine, said they refused him service because they said he had no insurance even though he did. I am wondering if he misunderstood. Are you sure they were not saying there was no Insurance on record at that store? If that happened to me, I would show them my Insurance card or give them the insurance information or ask them to call the other CVS so they can get the information. It is really odd that they would turn you away and not try to get the information from you. If that happened exactly as you said, I am stunned that that happened. read more

The pharmacist, Sherri got mad when confronted on how rude she was being and refused to fill a script based on that interaction. It is an unethical use of her discretion to filling or not filling scripts. So far corporate cannot effect the situation, although they agree with me and her district manager is uninvolved. read more

I was forced by my former prescription insurance to either use their own mail order service for maintenance medications or go to CVS (which they own or are owned by?) to pick them up in person. Since I am not a fan of getting something as important as prescription medications via mail. If not for this, I'd have left CVS long ago. The last straw for me was the lying and the all-too-frequent robo-calls. Apparently CVS is so hard up for money, they need to "slam" prescriptions. I have one medication that costs me around $50. It's for pain, and I am very conservative about taking it, though my Dr. keeps my with a current prescription in case I do need it. I rarely get it refilled, sometimes once a year, sometimes even every two years. After my physical last year, about a month later, I got several calls saying they had a prescription waiting for me. What? I called to see why. They said this particular medication was ready for pick up. I told them I had not requested a refill (I hadn't even touched the ones I just had refilled the day of the physical). They seemed incredibly confused (NOT a good thing for a PHARMACY!) and said they'd return it to stock. About a month later - deja vu! It happened again. This time I explained that this medication, while prescribed for up to a certain amount of doses per day, is taken PRN and that means I don't go through a month's supply in one month. They only did this with one medication at this time, and it was the one that costs the most. Now, again last week I get a call that I have another prescription waiting. I call to find out why. They say my regular medication is ready for pick-up. I DO NOT authorize auto-refills because I am admittedly not the most compliant patient and I often am not out of the medication when the calendar says I should be. Shame on me for that, but that's my issue, not CVS's. This time, I've actually been pretty compliant, but it's not time for my prescription for this medication to be ready. I'm due to see my doctor, and then he will renew that 90-day prescription for this medication that I have been on for years. That doctor visit is on the calendar, but hasn't happened yet. CVS informs me that the prescription awaiting pick-up is indeed this medication and is for a 30 day supply. I ask they why they are trying to refill this when I haven't seen the doctor yet? They tell me that "your doctor called this in." I check my online portal - NOTHING from my (very awesome) doctor. I think, well... perhaps the office staff made a mistake - it happens - and pulled the wrong chart and called in the wrong refill. I call the office. MY DOCTOR IS NOT EVEN THERE. The nurse looks at my chart. The doctor covering for my doctor authorized the script (which is why it was only for 30 days) because CVS CALLED *THEM* and asked for a prescription, but CVS instead LIED to me and made it sound like my doctor called it in. REALLY? This is *not* a way to run a pharmacy! I am done with the robo-calls, the refills I didn't ask for and the terrible customer service. I have called and told them they no longer have the right to ANY of my PHI and to completely remove all my PHI from their system. Healthcare is an industry that needs to be above reproach. It may be that these folks are just THAT incompetent and are making errors, or it may be that they are being pushed to obtain a certain sales quota. Either scenario is not appropriate in health care. I'd give zero stars if that were an option. read more
