They have found a pharmacy in Ellijay, GA that keeps them in stock pretty good. This is the second month that my surgeon has called in my scripts up here. I live over an hour away but we all know, when you're in pain...an hour drive is nothing. As I picked up my script from them today, the pharmacy informed me that they would no longer be filling my script here unless I transfer all of my other medications to their pharmacy. I am on quite a few so I asked if I did that would they be able to deliver as it says on the outside of the pharmacy? They said, nope! What a hassle and a lot of gas it would be to drive an hour to pick up my meds that are renewed at different times of the month! The cashier informed me because of the shortage, they are saving the Percocets for their regular customers?!? Um...I am a customer!!! I guess coming to their store once a month doesn't make you a regular customer! Never ever have I had a family owned pharmacy be so prejudiced to the people who live in their town! Inside they have EVERYTHING you can think of from groceries, to home goods, clothing and toys for the whole family, a pharmacy and a tire center. I stopped by for some groceries and some corn for the deer. Darren was incredibly kind. I caught him by the bathrooms at the back of the store and he helped me locate the corn. He didn't just direct me to the corn, he actually walked to to it! It was such a kind gesture and brought so much joy to my heart! He even offered to lift it into the cart for me! He's a doll! Grocery wise I was able to find most of what I needed, and am grateful for it! Elaine helped me at the check out area and was kind and helpful with bagging items. The store was clean and things were easy to find! I love this Walmart and will be back.
