Fantastic high energy spin class workout! Welcomed warmly with friendly staff to help you check in and get fitted properly on the bike if you are new. You won't feel embarrassed if you are inexperienced. The class instructor brought in the mojo and got the class thumping along to the heavy bass music. Surprising full body workout with core and arm exercises included. Great time!

I was introduced to Cyclebar through a Yelp Elite event. My initial experience was nothing short of empowering and amazing and I vowed to return for another ride. My husband and I decided to do a weekend drop in class. The schedules are available online. We were even able to select our seats. The classes do get full and I recommend reserving ahead. The studio is located in Redmond Town center in the second floor just across from Macy's. The studio features amenities such as lockers, showers, towels, cycling shoes, and even chilled filtered water. I recommend arriving early to allow time to stretch and complete any position adjustments to your stationary bike. Our class was 45 minutes of pure pedaling on Schwinn stationary bikes. Our stats were displayed on two large LCD screens. What sets this experience apart from a standard cycling class is the atmosphere. The mood lighting, soundtrack selections, and instructor encouragement all make a difference. Cold towels along with high fives were provided after classes. I'm impressed with the customer service, enthusiasm, and the details that goes in every ride. I even received my ride stats and the soundtrack in my email box.

I have been searching for a gym that has reasonably priced cycling classes for a while now and I'm so glad I came across CycleBar! I don't think I fully knew what I was getting myself into with these classes - they are HARD. When I attended my first class they greeted me and gave me a tour. They had a locker with my name on it and gave me shoes to borrow for class. One of the instructors helped me find my bike and get set up. It's a pretty small space and can get a bit crowded since there's about 40 people in every class. They have bathrooms and showers with everything you need to get cleaned up which is a nice touch. CycleBar offers a variety of different classes. So far I've tried the Classic, Connect, and Empower classes. Some focus on your stats while others focus on the movement. The music is always loud and the instructors are incredibly inspiring and encouraging. There is a strong community feel, and that definitely helps me look forward to going. The only downfall is I really wish they had a location farther south like in Burien or Renton. I work in Bellevue and usually go to the Redmond location after work, but I would likely attend more classes if they had a location closer to where I live.

Very good place to go for cardio and weight loss. I was 222 lbs, are now ,10 months later, 194 lbs. The instructors are super qualified, however quite talkative during class, everything in that place are, mind you, in the best intention for you to improve. I highly recommend Cyclebar in Redmond.

I just started going here consistently and I LOVE IT! I really don't enjoy cardio but I feel like…read morethese classes totally trick me into loving it, plus getting strength in alone the way. The class formats are really fun-lots of variety and each week builds on previous classes so you feel like you're learning and getting the hang of things after a week or two. Walking into the studio is also just FUN- so inclusive, fun music and lights, and super supportive instructors. My favorite classes are Bands with Elise and Dance with Chris! I feel like even after 2 weeks of consistency I already feel like my endurance is improving and I was able to advance to a more challenging resistance band in the Bands class. Looking forward to seeing results once I keep up the consistency!

Well, I'm clearly in the minority here with my overall feelings of AKT. I think AKT can be a great…read moreplace to work out depending on your expectations. I went to my first class a few weeks ago and this was the first fitness class that I thought about walking out before it ended. Don't get me wrong, the studio is awesome and has a nice vibe - the staff is super friendly as well. But this didn't feel like dancing...it was more like...how would I describe it... choreographed fitness steps for suburban housewives with no rhythm. Ah, there we go. Instructions were super fast and hard to follow, the music didn't match the vibe of the dance.... ie: attempting to dance hip hop style to a Jackson 5 song. (I use the term hip hop style loosely because I *think* that's what they were aiming for.) I'm glad I went though..I'd been wanting to try AKT for a while but learned it was not for me. I think this could be a great place for a specific demographic, though.
