Pro Club is hands down one of the best gyms, if not the best. It's perfect for you if you're looking for a place to truly transform your lifestyle. It isn't like typical gyms, it feels more like a gym-resort-wellness center. It has high ceiling and ventilation is great. It can get smelly if it's super busy but that's why I go in the morning. I also like how everyone just focuses on themselves and no one is judging or being "weird." It's like everyone working out on their own pace and no judgement. I also had no experiences of going to the gym. It feels daunting initially because there's so many machines and it's overwhelming, which is why I particularly wanted to get a personal trainer and I love mine. Ainura is wonderful, she remembers the body goals im after and she helps me with a workout plan that will help me. You can see photos of my 3 month progress as proof. I've also had to visit out of state gyms due to work and I can safely say... pro club still the best. Love the staffs, environment, aura, and my trainer. LASTLY, I know it's on the higher end compared to other gyms but the amenities make it up. They made a lot of changes after it was acquired by the Bay Club, with the most significant changes made to the pavilion. There used to be 4 full basketball courts, one of which was used for badminton during specific days/times. Then, they converted another full basketball court to pickleball courts. That was acceptable, since there were still 2-3 full basketball courts (each full court actually had 3 hoops, 1 in the middle), depending on the day/time. The worst thing they did when they refinished the floors in April was convert another half of a basketball court to a single pickleball court, effectively removing 2 of 3 usable hoops. Now, on badminton days, everyone who wants to play basketball has to share 1.5 courts. The usual scenario is 10 people playing a full court game, leaving everyone else with just 1 hoop. It gets incredibly crowded and is starting to feel like trying to play basketball at LA Fitness but for a much higher monthly membership cost. And to top it off, I have seen only ONE pickleball court being used (a full basketball court's worth of space being wasted) on the last 2 nights I went to the gym. It's very frustrating because I used to look forward to coming here to shoot around after weightlifting. I wish they had surveyed the members before making such big changes. Added a star because I like that they upgraded the weight room downstairs and added more squat racks. I have been a member on and off for the last decade since my company used to provide a membership as a benefit. The club was really great for us especially after we had kids because both of them really love the pool and it was so convenient to be able to take them there. In the last year that we were members, the membership fee for my husband increased significantly, the kids that used to be free became paid and they removed the free caregiver (nanny) who could accompany the kids previously (e.g. to the pool). This meant that the price for our family increased by a few hundreds dollars a month (!!!) while the cleanliness of the gym decreased. It's still a decent gym, though getting dated especially in the bathrooms and showers and much dirtier than before, but definitely not worth the new prices. read more

New year new price increases but worse service. I tried to use the bathrooms in the men's locker room and the bathroom toilet papers were all used up. On top of that there's a dedicated worker in the locker rooms that's supposed to do all of this ongoing maintenance. I let that guy know and he out right told me upstairs is not his area. Absolutely terrible response for a simple request. The guy seems new as the normal locker room guy was not there. On top of that shower curtains are patched with black moldy spots and it seems to me that Pro Club can't even bother to change out cheap shower curtains. read more

If you want to play tennis, the ProClub in Bellevue is a joke. There are only 6 courts. Between lessons and USTA matches, there are very few open courts to book. Also, you can only book every 3 days, but your name isn't free until the end of your court time. So if you finish playing at noon, you can't book again until noon on the 3rd day. This is the case for a single membership. At $360+ per month, with increases every year... we'll, you do thr math. ProClub is opened be Bay Club (KKR private equity). I have been a member of PRO Club Bellevue for more than 10 years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. After showering at the club, my locker would not open and I had no clothes. I called the front desk multiple times and no one answered. I also walked around trying to find a staff member but could not find anyone available to help. I eventually had to call the emergency line just to get assistance. What made the situation worse was the customer service afterward. There was no apology, no empathy, and no sense of urgency from the staff. When I asked for a manager's contact information, the front desk employee even rolled her eyes and showed a very disrespectful attitude. I sent a formal complaint to management about this incident, but over a week later I still have received no response at all. For a club with such high membership fees and reputation, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and response from management is very disappointing. read more

Don't expect transparency or commitment to contracts if you decide to enroll at Pro Club or your child in Discovery Bay. From February 2024 - January 2025, my wife was a member at the Bellevue Pro Club and my son was enrolled in Discovery Bay daycare. To hold our son's spot at the daycare, we paid a *refundable* $200 deposit. In Dec 2024, we moved, and made the decision to move our son to a daycare closer to our new house. We gave the required 30 days written notice to the daycare director, and was told that our $200 refundable deposit would be refunded in early Jan. Since January 2025, we have been in repeated communication with multiple staff -- both at Discovery Bay and at the Pro Club concierge -- about this deposit, but it has still not been refunded. We keep getting "we'll handle it and be in touch", but then when we reach back out, they don't respond to emails or phone calls. We have multiple emails and written communications that the $200 will be returned to me, but alas, EIGHT months later, it has not been. At this point, the run around, lack of follow up and follow through makes me warn others to be wary of Pro Club. read more

I can't believe that the Pro Club has as many members as they do because it is packed often because they do not deliver on the amenities they advertise. I have been trying to get my friends to leave the club...! So far I have not succeeded so I pay my $281 a month and fume. Oh well, all I can do is try...lol. So what is the issue: -this club is dirty - the locker rooms are gross as well as many other carpeted areas -it's a daycare often masquerading as a gym. kids camps and kids in pajamas in the pavilion weight room with a mom lifting weights over her daughter's head...really? -a cross between strong man gym married with a gold's gym but 80% of the people have trainers and they are doing simple basic fitness routines that are not for the type of gym it is. there are more mats and balance activities happening on the carpet where you pull the sleds and ropes than actual sled and rope pulling. -everyone seems to have a fitness trainer and they take over the entire area and setup their tablets and equipment and literally push out anyone who doesn't have a trainer by talking a lot and taking the equipment -the amenities are not enough and not high quality for what is advertised, recovery chairs often out of service, sauna down, etc. -vaping in the locker rooms -no control in the pavilion and other weight areas, people can do whatever even if unsafe and wear whatever (even if showing parts of body they shouldn't be) and the list goes on but no one calls them on it -crowded, can't even get a seat in the bistro area because all the people working from the club that use the daycare and then set up office at the club (there should be a 1 hour limit to a table/seat) -no actual education and knowledge around lifting, it feels awkward to ask someone to spot you or other basic things you do in a true gym The one shining star is a few of the class instructors that are amazing!!! Other than the spin bikes and a few class instructors everything here could be replaced by a better gym with lower fees so if you aren't into the classes (of which the # is lower than their marketing says), I would find a gym that is not part of the Bayclub because they do not care and if they say they do and they are upgrading for you, don't fall for it. They make most of their revenue off the personal trainers and the daycare/camps so that is what they support. Now, if I could just convince my 10+ friends to leave this place I would be very happy although I would miss a few instructors! read more

Update. The Pro Club is being sold to the Bay Club of California. They are trying to up their game by enforcing certain policies but still waaay bad compared to the Pro Club of decades ago. They closed the pools for two weeks to install new UV filters, which were much needed. The pools usually get closed at least once daily because of feces in the pool. Last week a fully clothed woman entering a hot tub in the women's locker room without rinsing after working out. Gross! They used to have excellent services, top notch hygiene, really good food in the bistro. It all slid downhill now that the owners are retiring and selling the place. read more

Since the Club was taken over by private equity, it's now become a complete disaster. Management is only concerned about signing up as many members as possible without any material expansion or improvements. This means it is impossible to sign up for any class (Fit Lab is chronically full), get a tennis lesson, get a Pilates session, massage or even decent parking. I pay something like $275 a month and just learned that this is now Microsoft's gym where any employee can join ProClub and pay $30 a month. In the summer, this place is now essentially Microsoft's daycare center with tons of summer camps and loaded with children in every single common area. The gym is also currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION - see photos - disrupting whatever workout was possible. I like the club, like that they have so many floors and so many workout rooms. I love that they have so many classes included in the membership. Love the women lockers as it reminds me of the Roman baths that I went to in bath city in England. The sauna and tue steam room are amazing as well. Heads up ladies you will see fully naked ladies in the lockers, suns, steam room or that area. It took me a couple of time to get over it lol. There is around 4-5 ladies who works in the lockers room who are cleaning all the time and there to help you in anyway and off course to make sure no one has their phone out for privacy. The only downside that's really annoying to me and my kids is that the cafe closes at 8:00pm when the gym closes at 11:00pm. The bistro opens from Tuesday to sat. They open at 11:00am and supposedly, they should close at 9 pm, but they always close by 7:45-8 pm, which is annoying. After I finish my workout I like to get a protein shake so there's no chance for me to do that since they close at 7:45 to clean up. . I can't have the shake before I work out as I will vomit. And then if I wanna stop by the bistro to grab something they are closing or closed. I think they need to be open at least until 9:00pm both the cafe and the bistro. I joined Pro club over a year ago and go there about 5 times a week. Since the beginning I noticed week after week that wheigh rooms are not being cleaned. Left bunch of messages at the front desk- nothing. Emailed managers- nothing! And then whole year I would constantly ask bathrooms, weight rooms to be cleaned. Yesterday I talked again with another manager and asked when are you finally start mopping the floor and clean filthy bathroom. He told me, we vacuumed this morning and I just laughed, because I took a picture with hair, dirt and dust, also bathrooms are seriously a healt hazard! If you want to go to the gym for fitness reasons, this is not your place. If you want to go to a gym that's mediocre, has a lot of spa-like amenities and is overpriced, this is for you. The strict, no cell phone policy in the lock room and the sauna is incredibly annoying because some people just want to sit in there with their clothes on getting warmed up before they work out without being yelled at by members and staff members. There's no co ed clothing sauna option. Not to mention the cardio area is incredibly cold at all times. Terrible front desk communication and customer service. Would 100% recommend the Bellevue club over this place if it is on your list to consider. Perfect example of the level of service you'll get. The pool was freezing over the weekend. The pool was evacuated and empty with a lifeguard sitting watching an empty pool because it was so cold. We had wrangled two kids to use the pool (the main reason we pay for the pro club). Our baby froze in the family pool which is usually heated so we had to leave within 5 minutes. We called to let them know to fix it and they told us it was open and warm and accused us of making it up. Our neighbors then called to ask it if was open and warm before leaving the next day with their kids and were told it was open and showed up and it was closed. When you discuss issues with management they say the pool was warm all weekend and there have been no issues and completely dismiss you and do not even apologize to their customers. Honestly makes more sense to pay less and go to literally any other gym with access to a pool with probably better customer service. read more

I typically do not write reviews, but the Pro Club turn Bay Club necessitates serious improvement in both customer service and business practices. Upon checking in Thursday, the front desk attendant mispronounced my name and subsequently requested my daughter's name. This incident occurred despite the recent update and increase in monthly dues, along with the implementation of picture check-in requirements. One would reasonably expect these measures to prevent such issues, but unfortunately, they did not. We felt as though we were subjected to an interrogation akin to an immigration checkpoint or a CPS verification process concerning my child's identity. Given that we are paying nearly $550 per month in dues, it is unacceptable that our identities, clearly displayed in the check-in photos on your system, are not recognized. It stands to reason that my child, who is included and paid for in the membership, should not be subject to such scrutiny. I strongly urge the management to prioritize enhancing customer service and refining their business practices instead of focusing solely on revenue generation. my sister is a member of the club. She gave me complementary pass for me to use. NO WHERE on the pass does it say the member has to be with me at the time. in spite of that they would not allow me to use the club. if you have a policy, you need to make it clear on the pass. I have been a member of PRO club for almost 30 years and loved everything about it - the cleanliness, quality of staff and responsiveness to questions. Since Bay club bought it, they fired all the night cleaners and it is very apparent with the lack of cleanliness, instructors are forced to find towels for their classes wherever they can, the Concierge desk is unmanned, staff is a fraction of what it used to be as so many are leaving. Those left are trying to cover more than their own jobs. There is no phone number for Bay club and emails are replied to days later with a response that makes it clear they never read it. Pro club is a decent gym. If I were to rate it at normal times I'd probably give it a lower rating, because the building architecture is old, no lighting or windows in the exercise areas, the pool is not always clean and overall it needs work to be a modern gym. However, during covid-19 they started offering live classes on their Facebook page and I personally have found them too be amazing! I can exercise at the convenience of my home, with a professional instructor and lovely scenery! It's live so I can exercise with friends (virtually), and the recordings are available afterwards to share. This nice thing is anyone (even non-members) can access their live classes during covid-19. I wasn't sure how the appointment and treatment would go, at a sports club however, the medical practice was warm, efficient, professional and Dr. Adad is clearly very experienced and good at what he does. He was able to quickly diagnose my bursitis with ultrasound, skipping expensive x-rays and set me up with a treatment plan that is convenient and I'm confident we'll soon have my pain and issue resolved. read more

This is a great club for families since they have something for everyone. Swim/sports lessons, room after room of workout equipment, sport courts, cafe and full-service restaurant, health/spa services, car detailing, summer camps, you name it! In a pinch it can even be a remote work space. I don't think any of their offerings are the best in town or the cheapest, but there's value in having it all in one place on one account. Humungous gym with almost everything you could want. The only thing I can complain about is that they dont use good quality shampoo and conditioner. Do you like being ridiculously overcharged for exercising in facilities that haven't been updated much since the 1990's? Do you like working out with hordes of high schoolers who hog the machines while looking at their phones? Do you like tripping over toddlers who endlessly run around with no parent in sight? If you answered yes to any of those, then PRO Club is for you! This place is less like a gym, and more of a place for rich parents from the Redmond/Bellevue area to drop off their children. You may think it's kinda annoying but since the staff are all high schoolers, it's NBD to them. There are a lot of other gyms that will give you better bang for your buck without making you feel like you're at daycare. They also probably upgrade their machines, unlike PRO Club. The only benefit that this place has are the tennis courts, but good luck using them because they're busy AF. read more

Since Pro Club was bought out, the new owners have reduced cleaning staff as well as other people. Very noticeable that the club is much dirtier than it was. Carpeting, pool, fitness rooms, equipment not maintained, etc. It was very good with prior owners, but seems the new owners are trying see how thin they can run. For $264/month, I strongly believe it is reasonable to expect a CLEAN facility. Unfortunately, the private equity group that purchased the ProClub must have laid off most of the cleaning staff. During nearly every exercise class, there's a dust bunny scattering across Studio A. The area that holds the large exercise balls is gross with dirt and hair! The women's locker room must only be cleaned once a month. There are copious long black hairs all over the place - in the lockers, on the tile floors, around the sinks, on the shower walls and floors. The tile grout is stained. The steam room has a funky smell. The intake vent in the ceiling of the lower women's showers appears to not have been cleaned since before Covid. Baseboards and edges in staircases are never dusted. I wonder the last time the carpet was vacuumed. YUCK! In reading the other reviews, lack of cleanliness of the facilities has been mentioned NUMEROUS times....yet nothing gets clean. Nothing changes. Come on private equity fund, return some member dues to cleaning! read more
