The Ski Company usually has a few pairs of higher end demo skis (very gently used factory demonstrators) available and that's what we opted to buy instead for a price well below list. I have also bought quite a few pairs of skis for myself based on thier recommendations, and couldn't be happier. Prices are always fair. This is the only ski shop I will buy from in MI.

A security tag was left on one of the clothing items I bought from this store. The sensor did not…read morego off when I walked out. I found the tag the next day and live out of town so driving back to the store is a huge inconvenience. When I called the north face store, the employee said I could try a Victoria's Secret to get the tag off despite the VS store also being in a different town or send the item back to the store and wait for them to ship it back with the security tag removed. Make sure to double check clothing before you leave the store to avoid having to drive around to different stores to see if their magnet will work to take off the security tag. Huge inconvenience.

I was allowed to try on several different types of boots until I finally settled on the pair I bought. Two days later, I brought my boyfriend in to their tent sale. They gave him the same time and attention, allowed him to try on several boots, look at several different pairs of skis, and allowed us to stay even after they closed.
