You can really feel the friendly atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The golf course itself is beautiful, well-kept, and full of unique character. There is so much cool paraphernalia and fun trinkets all throughout the property that make it interesting even between holes. Every hole was set up so neatly, with creative layouts, multiple drops, and thoughtful details that kept it fun the entire way through. I especially loved that they had an easier course for younger kids, which made it perfect for our children, and we also noticed the moving/more challenging course, which looked like something my husband and I would love to come back and try on our own. The seating areas placed along the way made it feel relaxing and enjoyable, and there was so much to look at that the whole experience felt special. One helpful thing to know before you go: it is cash only, so make sure you come prepared. It was $25 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 6. Such a cool view of the park atop the highest point of the coaster. Highly recommended ride for thrill seekers. The line can be long at times but it's well worth the wait for the thrill it brings. Practically every hill had me floating or slamming back down, and after a while, it stopped feeling fun and started to feel a little uncomfortable. I know some coaster fans live for that kind of extreme airtime, and if that's your thing, you'll probably love this ride. It's smooth, fast, and has a legendary drop, but for me, the constant weightlessness was too much. That said, I'd still recommend it to anyone who enjoys high-adrenaline rides and can handle intense airtime. It's clearly a favorite for a reason--it just didn't suit my personal taste and I'd prefer the woodies over this.

As a Yelp Elite All Star I noticed that the most current YELP review for this pool was a one star review based solely on what this person thought the price should be for entry for her & her kids & her comparison to North Park Pool. First off Cranberry Township Waterpark, offers more than just a pool. It has a very large kids area with large kiddie pool, water dump bucket, splash pad & preschool water sliding board. It has a dedicated lap swim lane at all times. It has a waterside, low diving board, water tunnel sliding board, water climbing wall, sand volleyball court, grassy play areas, concession stand with large variety of foods, drinks & desserts & bathrooms with showers & changing rooms. There are giant umbrellas for shade, and many lounge & some Adirondack chairs. You can get water wings, or life vests for your kids there if needed. This is not a county pool like North Park Pool. NPP is run by the county. Cranberry is run by the township (not Butler County) & managed & staffed by high school kids. YES, the prices ARE higher than Allegheny County & City pools: 2025 Daily Admission Rates Residents: $11 Non-Resident: $16 Children: 2 - 12 years old Resident:$10 Non-Resident: $14 Children under 2: FREE 55+ Senior Resident: $10 Non-Resident: $14 Twilight Rates (after 6 p.m.) Resident: $8 Non-Resident: $10 Tuesday Night Swims: 9-11 p.m. Members: FREE Non-Members: $8 But that gives ZERO reason to diss this beautiful waterpark & all it has to offer. It is huge and accommodates many activities and games within its parameters without bothering anyone. There are nice areas for the toddlers, pre-teen and exciting slides and games for the older kids and adults. The table area outside of the restaurant is very nice for a family or a couple to sit and eat or just have good ole conversation. It can also be a great place to take a reprieve from the sun. As a whole I have found most people to be very friendly and helpful. In matter of fact, I am disabled and have problems walking a distance with my cane.....sometimes parking can be really far away and I have found myself in past years just turning around and leaving. But......this year the owner saw me hobbling down the hill and stopped in his golf cart and told me to call anytime for him or someone to come and pick me up if I find myself in that situation again. I am sure that in the future I will take him up on his helpful offer so I can enjoy the fun within the gates of Pine Cove Swim Club. There are great pavilions to use for parties and get togethers and Pine Cove also offers extra activities on certain days for adults and children. I only have one negative thing to say about the grassy area where you place your blanket or chair - most of the area is on a steeper slope and finding a comfortable way to sit on your towel without toppling down the hill is a challenge. This also makes it hard to sit in a chair without sliding down, Minor excavation could help that. To solve this I try to get there early to get a lounge on the flat cement area by the pool, but these are few and hard to get. Another plus is being able to take your chair or inner tube and keeping it on the fence at the pool so you do not have to carry it back and forth all season. My opinion is I will be buying a pass to Pine Cove until I can not walk to get inside.....then I may come in a wheel chair. LOL. Isabelle S.

Ever tried to play sports outside in Pittsburgh? Yeahhh…read more.. it's difficult to set a schedule because it's too cold 8 months out of the year - and probably raining 50% of the rest! Welcome... Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena. PISA, more colloquially. With indoor courts for a variety of sports and fair prices for groups to rent without breaking the bank, PISA is a great venue to have in the area. My coworkers love to play volleyball... and yes, we do have local parks with sand courts.. but it is so nice to plan out when we will play and not have to vehemently watch radar to see if the weather will hold up. PISA rents a volleyball court for 2 hours for $120 - split across 12 of us... it's a steal! The only reason to ding PISA... and it's not really their fault.... but they are trying to sell the facility and have lost all local sponsors and investments. In the past, you'd see all sorts of local companies with banners on the indoor soccer fields and the volleyball courts; now they only had one banner and you can tell that the investment had been used for upkeep in the past.
