Response time was horrible, and if they did response, it was very snooty and rude. They also continued to let me believe that they were speaking to the agent that I wanted to make an offer with when in fact they never did. I don't believe that they have much interest in selling or helping you buy any property that does not make them a very fat commission. I believe they treat anybody in the lower range like dirt. They never once gave me an opinion on the units I was looking at, but yet proceeded to tell me that I'm not letting them help me when they did nothing. In my experience, I would never recommend these people and I think maybe they're burnt out and I understand that happens, but I can't make that my problem. She talks a great story about herself, and is excellent at self promotion, but when it comes to actual real estate knowledge and providing you with what you need to know, she comes up short. Be very cautious relying on her for advice and guidance on real estate matters. She sends out a valuation of my home on a regular basis. It is so totally pathetic it isn't funny. It is always LOWer than any other valuation you can call up on the property. One of the recent valuations is more than $700,000 below what Zillow values the house at. What is with this nonsense?? Anyone can see from my Yelp profile that I tend to give out mostly positive reviews; negative reviews from me are infrequent and usually well-deserved (because I often feel somewhat bad on lesser ratings). Unfortunately, Yelp usage in the greater Tampa area is pretty weak, and there is not any other really good method to figure out who's good and who's not as far as realtors. I was simply calling around trying to get some information, and based on very few reviews (but all apparently good), I called these guys and got through to Jack. I started out describing, basically, what I was looking for, what areas I was looking at, and what price range I was looking for in the area. That was maybe less than two minutes into our call. Then, I took the conversation to commissions, by way of examples from the area where I live (which is *completely* different than the Tampa area). Keep in mind that I didn't say anything about giving a specific commission or any specific numbers, but this is where Jack, at about two minutes into our phone call, said "this isn't a good fit" and hung up on me without another word. Hmmm... If you read their Yelp description, it uses the work "professional". In a, so far, innocuous conversation, I would not consider that behavior to be "professional" at all. In fact, the point that I was getting ready to raise was about how some terrible realtors were expecting (and often getting) a high commission for no reason whereas there are examples of great realtors taking less and doing better work, and price of the house has no bearing on the work to sell it! I get the realtors rallying together to price-fix their commissions: they make more money. It is work to sell. I get it. But it's not more work to sell a $550,000 home over a $350,000 home. The price has no bearing on the quality of work or ability to sell. That's just simply logic and math. Anyway, someone hanging up on a potential client when we get to the part where the conversation is on how much it costs me is a HUGE red flag based on a previous experience. This indicates someone just interested in maximizing their profit regardless of the quality of work or value of the work. I've already been down that road, so I guess he was right: it's not a good fit. But it was, in my opinion, an extremely unprofessional way to handle the call, and furthermore, it speaks to his (lack of) salesmanship and (lack of) negotiation skills. I mean, if he can't even discuss it to sell me on whatever his commissions is (and I don't know because he never said), what could I expect when he has to negotiate on my behalf to buy a home from another hard-nosed realtor?? A lying realtor. Stay away. We saw a home Cyndee had listed within a few hours of it coming on the market. We met her within the hour and loved the home. We wanted to put an offer on it and we did not have a realtor so she offered to represent us and her seller. We agreed. she also offered us a 1% buyers credit at closing. After the inspection period, she showed her true colors. She didn't return calls or emails, wouldn't let us see the house till closing and did NOT give us the 1% credit. Terrible I would never recommend someone who is unprofessional and a complete fool. I think she thinks she is doing me a favor and I'm the customer. Don't ever go to them for services. They are not traditional agents . Only looking for dollars and want you to feel sorry they are working on weekends.
