Jerry and Margie cater those events, and we had used their business several times at my union dinners for the Iowa City Letter Carriers. Friday night's dinner had steak, smoked pork chop, BBQ ribs and shrimp entrees with any number of combinations with the tastiest of sides. If you get a chance to enjoy one of Jerry and Margie's efforts, I urge you not to pass it up. They never leave you hungry or disappointed!

Type in the address on your phone map or GPS system to make sure you arrive. This place has been around for a long time, and has a wide variety of food, daily specials, and a full bar. The people are charming, warm and hospitable like you would expect from small town Iowa. I had the pork tenderloin, which had a seasoned crispy crust, while the meat remained juicy and flavorful, not an easy trick to accomplish. My table mate had a delicious burger with a logo embossed bun. I'll hit it again sometime, for their Friday or Saturday fish fry, which includes bone-in catfish, getting to be a rarity these days. Go there or go out of your way. Every merchant in the town has to be suffering from this road construction project, now entering month four!
