Stopped in to grab a drink with my grandmother and unfortunately the only seating is upstairs, which my grandmother can't do at her age. So we just grabbed our drinks and went back out to the car to drink them. I got a latte with oatmilk, which was pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. We felt like relaxing with some coffee while walking around Wimberley so stopped here. The inside is super cozy and welcoming, and the baristas were very friendly. I ordered a hot gingerbread matcha latte with oat milk. It was actually quite good, I had not had this mix of flavors but was feeling festive (it's December). The only downside I'd say is the price, which was about $8 for a medium, seems a bit high even compared to places in Austin. That said there aren't a lot of options in Wimberley and this seems like a good stop. There's also plenty of outdoor seating, and some upstairs inside, too. Cypress Creek is a super cute coffee shop in Wimberley Texas. They have a great selection of drinks and their staff is super friendly. They have pastries and bottled drinks as well as merchandise you can buy to take home. I love the clean, minimalist decor with cute plants everywhere. My daughter and niece had pastries and said they were super delicious, but everyone had a complaint about the temperature of their drink. All of our drinks were barely warm , and that was pretty upsetting, because the flavor was very good. Once we had our drinks, they got a rush of customers, so we didn't even bother going back in, we just dealt with it. I think it is worth going to again since I do frequent Wimberley, but I will make sure to let them know I would like my drink temperature to be hot. not warm. They do not have a bathroom for the public so just be sure to go to the small public bathroom before you go there. read more

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. I decided to try the Matcha Made in Heaven, which is one of their Valentine's day themed drinks I believe. The barista told me it was a lavender matcha with strawberry cold foam. The drink was surprisingly good, and not too sweet. The biggest con was that it was nearly $9 for their medium (aka smallest) size, which even today I think is a crazy price. Their other drinks seemed to be still on the pricier end of coffee (think around $6) but not nearly as crazy as the one I got. read more

I finished my pastry before I got my coffee. It was delicious but would've been better with my coffee. 2 stars for my first experience here. I recommend you have time to wait for your order;especially if you just want drip coffee. If management changes their "first in, first out" process to one that prioritizes simple items, then I will re-evaluate and probably rate higher. read more

Grabbed a coffee here on my way out of town and it was such a cute spot! The parking is a pain as you need to back up into a busy main street to get out. But if you are lucky enough to get parking I recommend stopping in. They have a large selection of French coffee syrups to pick from. They all do offer outdoor seating and indoor seating upstairs. After the barista explained to me what the drink was, she asked me to choose syrup flavors if I wanted. There is a biscoff flavored syrup and chose coconut milk, no whip. UMMMMM sooooo delicious!!!! Such a cute little coffee shop located within the main strip of stores and restaurants. There is no seating inside, but enjoy amazing weather outside with your coffee. There are several small tables and chairs located right at the entrance and then along the side of the building mostly covered. I enjoyed their decaf hazelnut latte which was served with a biscotti cookie!! The best hazelnut coffee I have ever had!! The biscotti cookie was a nice surprise when they brought it to our table, I literally was clapping with joy. I also ordered a waffle with blueberries, sliced almonds, with honey. OMG it was so tasty and the hazelnut coffee washed it down well. They have a prefixed menu that you can order or make your own waffle. I choose to make my own waffle. Originally living in Westlake and then downtown Austin, I was worried I would not find a coffee spot that used Cuvée coffee beans - my favorite beans for the taste. My husband and I came and visited Wimberly several weeks ago and I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their matcha was. Probably in top 3 best matcha lattes I've ever had. They use good quality ceremonial grade matcha (that I ended up having to research and purchase because I was literally dreaming of it) so it can be on the pricier side, but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Wimberly square is super cute. We had to explore it the second we could. Our first stop was the coffee house. Located on the edge of the square the shop was quaint and endearing. We received great service and my husband ordered literally two chai lattes he liked them so much. I had myself a green goddess smoothie which was surprisingly good. The waffle took a few tries but we ended up with a delicious Texas Waffle. We went back the next morning for more coffee :). read more

I have previously worked for CCCH, and I will say, this is one of the best places you can go for coffee and goodies. The owner is very dedicated to making sure that things are clean, safe, and running smoothly for her customers. My favorite thing that some people may not mention is that it is such a good space to hang out with friends and loved ones, and even though there is only outdoor seating, the outdoors in that area are BEAUTIFUL. There is also the Cypress Creek itself right behind the shop, along with other shops that are fun to visit. The owner also supports as many fellow small businesses and gets local coffee made here in Austin by incredible makers. You will not regret seeing this beautiful shop for yourself! My wife and I stopped by for a quick brunch this morning before exploring the town. There aren't many food options as we expected, but did see that they had some waffles on the menu that looked good (they were) and fit what we were looking for. Our issue comes after we ordered. We were made to wait almost 45 minutes for our waffles. We asked why it was taking so long about 15 minutes in when we noticed that other people that had ordered after us had come and left, and we were told that they had forgotten to pass down our ticket. They then proceeded to still not work on our order. About 30 minutes in we asked about it again and were told that "there was only 1 waffle maker". The whole time, there had been about 6 people working at the store and there was always someone not working on other people's orders (we watched one staff member sit on the floor filling tubs, another take out the trash, and stand around talking). The 1 waffle maker sat there unused for most of the time we were waiting. We would not recommend this place with the poor service we received. read more
