Strawberry cake ball and a white chocolate mocha

Just call me a sucker for a sugar rush before hitting the road again. The sign caught my eye and I decided to pull in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful space. Cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks were made quickly and with no error to detail. Welll done!

Their excellent Smoked Salmon on a Bagel, $14.50. Good ingredients, generous enough to share with a friend. 10MAR24

10MAR24 This morning I had a salmon bagel so nice it knocked my socks off. Lox style set up with cream cheese, red onion, capers, tomatoes on a plain bagel. WtD was Mr R's haunt years ago and I vaguely remembered getting this before and that it was good. Still listed online so I asked to try it again as he was heading there for coffee. This one was so tasty and fresh I had to query Mr R about what he'd seen--maybe they were premade and stacked in the fridge but I got really lucky on the timing? Nope, he saw them slicing the onions themselves and putting the whole thing together. Generous serving, solid ingredients, well assembled for what can be a messy meal, worth the $14.50. Which makes me wonder about the jalapeño cheese kolache I'd enjoyed the day before. I'd assumed they sourced them elsewhere but was impressed with it. Perhaps they make them in house, I've no idea, I just know after 20sec in the microwave it smelled amazing and tasted great. Pepper throughout the sausage, enough cheese to satisfy without being egregious, tender pastry wrapped around it didn't seem to have been defrosted. Heck of a find that I got to enjoy only because Mr R needed to meet the $5 minimum to pay by card. Mr R had a jalapeño cheese bagel. It came with a shot of cream cheese on the side but they supplied butter when he requested it. He was very happy with it and always with their coffee. I can't speak to the coffee, hate the stuff, but based on these revisits you should have no fear about the vittles there.

New favorite coffee place. My dirty chai was fantastic, my wife loved her mocha, and bagel got good marks too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good people, good vibes, great outside space and the best music playlist I've heard in a long time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great[[HIGHLIGHT]]Had a fantastic time hanging with family and friends while caffeinating after house hunting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First time here, won't be the last.

My daughter and I have been exploring locally owned businesses in San Marcos and we found this adorably spooky place. We got a turkey sandwich, a muffin, cookies, tea, and a coffee. Everything was really tasty and cookies are the size of your head. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a beautiful patio area so we borrowed one of their board games and played battleship outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wouldn't say the staff is friendly, but they are efficient. Very cool concept

The vibes are very nice. Spooky, beautiful restrooms, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and delicious pumpkin ale! Super cutesy place in San Marcos!

This is what they consider an Iced Matcha.

First, the service and staff and speed here is PHENOMENAL! No idea how the coffee is because I don't drink the stuff, but my husband liked it. What they're calling an "iced matcha" though should be a CRIME. It's just overly sweetened milk. There's not even a hint of green to it. Literally just sweetened milk over ice. I'm more confused than anything.

Freddy vibe from the jump, and the coffee is strong. I love it, and they have art for sale too. Lots of outdoor space, and vega/vegetarian options for food. I will definitely come back...especially at night

With a name like that what is there not to like...first thing we noticed is how fresh everything looked on the outside making us ask when did they open...only to find out they we celebrating there 14 year open...the super friendly staff informed us when they were closed for Covid the owners took the time to spruce up the joint and they did a fantastic job..inside decor was really cool..simple order of an iced mocha latte and an iced latte...super good drinks and a home town feeling..Top notch for sure!

You can tell right off the bat that the owners care about the quality of their products and service. The space itself is very welcoming and full of natural lighting and real plants. The products they carry are high-quality, and they even sell their own brand of roasted coffee called Bluebonnet Roasting Co. But that's not the real impressive part of it all. The best part is that their coffee is smooth and doesn't taste burnt or bitter or need tons of sugar and cream to mask the bitter coffee flavor. The coffee shines on its own. My favorite coffee bean is the Fairview Blend for espressos, but basically anything they brew is exceptional. I will only buy coffee here and am converted to buying their beans as well. The miso caramel latte has a very subtle and not-too-sweet flavor that suits my Asian tastebuds. Iykyk. The caramel dirty chai is also really good and satisfies a sweet craving. However, my favorite is the pour over, which really lets their coffee shine. The Americano is a close second for sure. You can tell that they take pride and are passionate about the quality of their coffee. They also are all very friendly and happy to answer questions you may have. The food here is exceptional as well. The biscuits they serve on Fridays and Saturdays...don't get me started. They're buttery, flakey, and the homemade jams are so good! Their focaccia bread sandwiches are amazing. The breakfast focaccia sandwich with thick cut bacon is my favorite so far. I normally only make coffee at home since I'm very picky when it comes to coffee, but since I've been introduced to this place, I have had to go at least once a week for my Fairview fix. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Theor seasonal menu is amazing and i stuck to it both visits here. For example a miso infused latte foam? It worked. Boy did it work. The orange flavored cold foam drink came with orange zest on top for an added punch and aesthetic. The store is awesome too. Big and bright windows looking towards a foresty park and easy parking to boot. I spent some time speaking with the manager (maybe yhe owner) and they were really nice and definitely coffee people. I don't live around here but will make it a point to stop in every time i visit the area. Truly a spectacular little coffe house.

We dined here late Sunday morning after a positive recommendation from a friend, who told us about…read morethe friendly owner, but she was away on a family emergency so we didn't meet her. We decided to split two smashed croissants, plus a Rizz pie. The croissants were served first (one breakfast & one G.O.A.T.). The cappuccinos came with that meal and were served in a small paper cup. The coffee was steaming hot, just as coffee should be & perfect. Perhaps a regular cappuccino mug would have been better, and more matching the comforting interior. Some thought did go into the design, it was really nice & cozy. We finished our croissants, and since it was 25 min since we ordered, asked about the pie. It was soon brought out, but was cool on the very inside middle. Regardless, it was tasty. The meat was tender, and also had mushrooms, topped with mashed potatoes and cheese. It was a nice flakey crust. If it were hot and delivered with the meal, then this would have been five stars. 25 minutes, with us being the only customers, is really too long to wait for food for a counter service meal. Parking was adequate and easily accessible.

I wasn't sure about a smashed croissant, but the panini press enhances the flavors of the rich, buttery layers. The spinach/pineapple smoothie was also a refreshing and light choice to compliment the heavier sandwich. The Rizz pie is like a delightful personal shepherd's pie, and I am all for it. It will be interesting to explore their other options.
