First month was free and got a free lock. I think there may be mice since they put rat poisoning in the unit. That kind of freaks me out because I have boxes with handles and if I open a box on day and find a mouse I'm gonna be flipping out. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The overall condition of the units is ok. They do seem more rundown than say Public storage but it's closer to my home and therefore, more convenient.

The point is, if your staff had called me I, I could have been there in 5 minutes and had half of the stuff out of there in a matter of minutes. I stick with my original post, thank you. Maybe I should call H& W out for their lies too. I can guarantee that I did not cancel on them as they were "waiting there". As you can tell, I edited to one star since you're so argumentative. The first time that they came out to fix the door, the old woman in the office did have my key. As I stated previously, all she needed to do was call. I could have had half of the stuff loaded in my car within minutes but common sense is obviously lacking. The whole situation could have been avoided if she had called at that time instead of waiting until after they left. Instead she waited and was very rude in refering to my items as "junk".

On the day we had to move, she went out of her way to be helpful and kind to my husband (who was driving the uhaul) when we ran late and had other things come up. On a stressful, emotional day, she took care of us. And when we moved OUT of storage a month later when my mom went into Assisted Living, she replied with, "I'm always happy when tenants' plans are proceeding as hoped. I feel better about our business here when I know we're helping people move forward!" How nice is that? The facility is super clean, easy to get into, bright, our heated unit was in excellent condition, and I felt the fee was reasonable. But it was the PERSONAL TOUCH that made the experience worth it.
