Not only is he a great doctor, but he takes time with his patients, explains things well and provides a solid recommendations. I solicited his opinions several times for other family members as well. Having grown up outside of the United States, where becoming MD is not a ticket to the millionaire club I noticed that these days more and more MD's career choices are motivated by income and far less by desire to help. Dr. Debroeck is a true doctor! Honest, knowledgeable, always with a smile and a great sense of humor even in harsh situations. He puts his patients first! Frankly after ten years I cannot say enough praise about the man and his staff. Some years ago a friend of mine who recently immigrated to the US and did not have PCP got sick. After talking to several doctors, this person asked me to help, I recommended Dr. Debroeck and went along to translate. Dr. Debroeck suspected hypothyroidism and ordered the blood work. He was 100% correct in his diagnosis. While I can go on and on with great examples, I can conclude that the world would be a better place if each one of us was more like Dr.Debroeck.

He has a great bedside manner and he always finds a way to relate to you. I have never had to wait in the waiting room for more than 20 minutes for any appointment. The nurses and office staff have always been very friendly and courteous. I have never been a fan of any Dr. but Dr. Debroeck has changed my tune, I no longer dread making appointments!

You have to go to Quest Diagnostics for labs and she wont give results over the phone. They have no online portal or patient access site for communication or access to view records or bills. Carlotta and her husband are taking every short cut and solely running the entire practice themselves to maximize their profits. They close their office for days at random times whenever they want to even when it's not a holiday without warning. I have been a patient of Dr. C. Hillert for several years now. Truth be told, I never liked her rude bedside manner. Everything these reviews say about her is true. She talks to you like you are uneducated and as if your medical problems are your fault. But I tolerated a general physical with her once or twice a year to get a refill on my cholesterol medication. Every single time I left an appointment with her, I said to myself "I need to find a new doctor asap, this is my last time." But 6-10 months would go by and it was time for refills again so I tolerated a general physical with her once a year to get a refill on my medication. My last straw with her was I tried to request a referral for an OB. After multiple unreturned phone calls and messages from myself and the requesting physician's office, I went to her office in person. (THEY REFUSE TO HIRE A SECRETARY TO SAVE MONEY. SO YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REACH ANYONE OVER THE PHONE EVER! THEY ONLY CHECK MESSAGES AND RETURN CALLS!) Before she would even process the referral she made me call my insurance company in front of her to verify that it would be accepted. Even after the BCBS representative said it was all good, she still did not believe them. She told me that she did not have time to give me a referral today (Tuesday), and that she MIGHT be able to squeeze it in by Friday because. She said it would take her over 30 minutes to complete it and she did not have time for that. She continued to rant about how many things she has to do and patients to see. She even said "You want me to rearrange my calls and patient appointments to write your referral? Its not my fault you need a referral" At this point, I still remained calm (even though I was almost in tears) and agreed to wait until Friday. However, I explained that my OB will still see me if she just gave them a verbal confirmation over the phone that it was in process. She continued to berate me by listing all of the things she BUSY doing (THE OFFICE WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY!). I politely reassured her that I would be no trouble to her, I offered to call them on my cell, and let her speak to them for one second. She then screamed at me, "IF I DO IT, WILL YOU LEAVE?" I walked out. No one deserves to be treated like this by a medical doctor. I will NEVER return to this office, and you should not either. Especially if you are a minority! RETIRE ALREADY!

I have never had a staff member that was less than kind to me. It's very simple to see Dr Hillert. No patient portal. No constant appointment reminds. Make an appointment and get a reminder card and show up then. Dr Hillert keeps his appointment times. One I think I waited 10 minutes. Dr Hillert is awesome.

Shows how much you actually care for people and their health. Shame on you. I've lived in 4 different states and have always been able to make payments on medical bills.

I'm writing this review to express my concerns with my interactions with Dr. M Graham. I picked…read morethis doctor because I am black and I wanted to receive help from a doctor that looked like me. But mins after interacting with her, I started to regret picking a doctor solely off of color due to the cold and annoyed responses I received from Dr. M Graham the entire time. Mind you, I've done this before in other cities and the black doctors have been AMAZING. But the difference with all the other black doctors I went too, they had conversation with me and showed their passion for their job as well as their passion to make sure I'm well. I'm a Program Manager at a health insurance company and my team job is to educate patients about their benefits so they know the importance of following up with their Family Medicine doctor/ Internal Medicine doctor / Primary Care doctor to prevent them from readmitting to the hospital. But when a doctor is cold and makes you feel like you're getting on their nerves, I can see why to this day patients aren't comfortable speaking up for themselves. Doctors and Providers have to do better with creating environments where questions are welcomed because the patient should be invested in their care because that patient is the only one responsible for ensuring they take all the action items needed! I personally did ask all my follow up questions because I know I am in charge of my health and following whatever I need to do for myself. But I did take a few notes to make sure I was able to share with the office manager the interaction I had with this woman as a new patient. I'm leaving two stars solely because the scheduling team was nice and the front desk staff at the Fairfield location was nice and did recommend I see Dr. N Brown the next visit. But do not book with her if ask questions and would like to be sure of the information you received. Do not book an appointment with her if you expect your doctor to be friendly while you interact with them. Do not book with her if you expect to actually feel like the doctor kind of care about the concerns you bring. Do not book with her if you're not okay with someone slapping their hands on the countertop due to your follow up question about your medication. It's sad to say this because all these things in the last paragraph a patient should feel comfortable doing. But I was told that is just her personality so it seems like patients have complained and but it is what it is with her. This is the service you will be paying for.
